Agreed to pay 1/3 more for a call out for blocked drain on a saturday. 5 1/2 hours later still waiting, phoned to find out how much longer, the engineer is on a job an hour away still (was told same thing one and a half hours earlier) customer service seemed to think it was a 15 minute drive between addresses! I told them to cancel, had enough of waiting, 40 minutes later a drainage engineer rings, tells me he can me at mine by 5pm (I phoned first thing sat morning) and that he hadn't left home yet? Told him no thank you, complete waste of a day, have managed to deal with it all day so will deal with it now till Monday and call a local professional.

Extremely happy with the work done by Dyno-Rod. McKenzie turned up on time and located the issue quickly and advised me of the plan to resolve. This involved cutting into the flooring, which I knew was needed. He removed several blockages, replaced and sealed the pipework. The work was of a very good standard and the bathroom left clean and tidy, free of any issues. I would highly recommend.

Arrived on time. Polite professional and made friends with our dog. Work was quickly completed. Reasonable price.

Avoid at all cost! They charge expensive prices which I don’t mind but the standard of work does not match the price. I wanted 6 designer radiators fitting and all the first guy did was complain about everything. I also caught him walking in and out of my house in his shoes knowing I have extremely light carpet. My carpet was left filthy and I had to then clean it after he left my house at 7 that evening. I also found a big patch of water he had spilt that was turning brown that he had tried to hide. The job went from 1 day to 2 days because the guy was absolutely useless. I now have a radiator hanging off the wall which is extremely dangerous especially when I have a 1 year old. I have contacted Tom the manager with no response.

The workers were well mannered and carried out the job with great efficiency leaving no mess and doing a fine job

My elderly mum who lives on her own had an emergency plumbing problem. Harry from Dyno-Rod was so helpful and courteous, arrived within a couple of hours and did a fantastic job. The price was reasonable and my mum was relieved and satisfied. Honestly, I highly recommend this company.

Dyno Made the leaks worsened

I’ve been with British ever since, but lately 2months before the contract agreement expires, I’ve contacted BG /DYNO as pipeline outside was slightly leaking, it was in the month of August and my contract expires in September 23rd. Engineer came in September and replaced the pipe outside just above the kitchen window. Engineer did not check that there’s a small tube that’s leaking but theyve replaced the big pipe. 4days later leaks again but it was dry when the engineer visited and within the 14days grace period, the engineer said if the same issues happened just call them. Now it’s over 14days and the leaks are nonstop and the contracts expired. British Gas AND DYNO ROD denied taking responsibility for this failed job. To get this same issue fix is to renew the contract! Isn’t this a black mail. PLEASE SORT THIS LEAKING OUT BECAUSE IT NON STOP, 2/10/2025 customer service said someone will be coming if this is the same issues I won’t be charged. But today, customer service has been ignoring and not taking responsibility anymore as the contract expired.

BUT THE JOB WAS WITHIN THE CONTRACT? PLEASE SORT THIS OUT. I WAS FRUSTRATED I SHOULD HAVE NOT GET IT MESSED UP WITH BG/DYNO

Over the past week we have had a new toilet installed. The old one could not be repaired.

Appointment Booked through the home care service with British Gas.

All day appointment given from 8 - 6 for a leaking toilet and the flush not working. Unable to use the toilet.

Waited All day and apparently they tried calling around 17:30 but could get through to my phone and cancelled the appointment.

No notification of the appointment being cancelled until calling them to find out why they had not turned up.

There was no apology just advised to rearrange the appointment with British Gas.

Total waste of time Dyno are in my opinion.

British Gas was very apologetic and rearranged the appointment. British Gas have always been very good to be fair.

Unfortunately Dyno let them down consistently.

I have been with Dynorod for many years. You get what you pay for. I have had many many plumbers over the years ... Some great, some who'd never get in my home again... But with this company they are always consistent. They are on time, always do a top job, the guys are friendly and they are really great with customers because they care about their business... I really had to put this review up because they deserve a shout out.
