Dyno-Rod - Plumbing North West Anmeldelser 

Began well at Xmas but then 2 cancelled appts and a failed attempt at repair. Then told they couldnt come for 50 days as engineer busy elsewhere....I requested cctv image and queried why repair attempt failed but no replies to my emails. Complained and complaint sen to team I was complaining about....funnily enough no response. Have had to start again with Metrorod. 2 months wasted.

Baffled as to why when I call them at 2.30pm they say if they come after 6pm they will charge me £50 more?..this incentivises the plumber to hang back and come later…..bad practice.
They did eventually retrieve this bad start..they came the next day and sorted out the problem for the lower price.. lovely young chap did the work. Still not happy with the initial offer though. Why do that?

Engineer was knowledgable and professional (Gary). Polite in his demeanour and definitely knew what he was doing. Went above and beyond to solve a radiator issue, which although challenging, was dealt with expertly.

Booked through British Gas service contract the young gentleman who attended our property on 27.2.23 to fix a leak on our sink pipe was an absolute credit to your company. He called 10 mins before arrival and carried out the work quickly was so polite. I think his name was either Darren or Danny and was from Blackpool and deserves the praise.

I would have liked to give dyno rod zero stars if there was an option to do so , As a rule I do not like to write negative reviews however following the absolutely appalling service we have experienced from dyno rod I feel in this instance it is completely justified to do so . From the 6th of December to the 27th of January dyno rod left us with faulty hot water and a hot water leak resulting in volumes of hot water lost in a climate when it is well documented that energy prices are at an all time high ! We in addition to this have water damage to our ceiling and floors therefore after unsuccessful attempts with dyno rod to fix this out of desperation and at a cost to ourselves we bought and supplied the required parts for repairs that we got from a local supplier because dyno rod informed us the parts needed were on order although they were out of stock , We lost numerous days off work waiting for engineers between 8am-6pm and after waiting all day visits were cancelled last minute stating the engineer had run out of time for that day , when they did show up the engineers arrived without the required parts , and one engineer self disclosed that he was not qualified to work on our system and left ! the office staff were totally unhelpful and often dismissive , the manager was not interested in the slightest and could not even be bothered to speak to us despite numerous requests from us for him to call us back and to this date the manager still has not had the decency to speak to us or return our calls , we have called to speak with the manager over the last few days and he is either busy or in meetings and we are promised he will call us back which he of course he never has . We pay for emergency insurance cover for dyno rod through British Gas home care , however we are totally disgusted by the lack of service , customer care and empathy we received from a company who are totally at ease with leaving people in situations of no heating / hot water despite sub zero temperatures, It was indicated on one call that I am only one person out of 200 waiting for a visit so I would just have to wait as I am no more important !! I don’t see myself as special , important or as a priority and I totally understand calls need to be prioritised due to vulnerability , I had initially been understanding and patient by waiting for my turn despite faulty heating and badly leaking hot water or no hot water at all , I have no confidence that this review will be even read by dyno rod or if it is I have no confidence that it will be taken seriously as from my experience they clearly just don’t care and are not remotely bothered !!

This has by far been the worst experience I have had with any company I have had several engineers out over two months when the second engineer said what needed to be done (as the first engineer was not qualified to work on my system) I have have had to chase dyno to send an engineer out and when he came he only did one part of the job and I then had to chase again to get another engineer out . I have been lied to on several occasions been made promises that have not been kept, I have had to supply parts to fixe a leak on Christmas Eve as I had a feeling that the engineer would have no part to fix the leak. I have made several phone calls asking for a manager to call and he has only called once and that was the wrong number. Hopefully the fault is now fixed, but as I say from a service that I pay for and also have to pay an excess this experience has been appalling. I am still waiting for a manager to call my but I am not holding my breath.

Just had Dyno out to repair our toilet, excellent service and problem solved, engineer was friendly and explained the problem and the repair, would definitely use them again

Just had Dyno Rod out to my elderly mother's toilet. The engineer I think was called Lee. He was very professional and identified the problem immediately. A blocked soil pipe. The work was carried out efficiently and quickly. Thank you so much for putting my mums mind at ease. Worth every penny I would not hesitate to recommend your company. Many Thanks Wendy Marshall

Five star service of a young lad called Kevin could not fault him.

Absolutely fantastic service at this time of year especially! Prompt, efficient, polite young man - Joseph. Our toilet was blocked - oh dear, what a dreadful job, but Joseph came to the rescue. He explained what he was doing, cleaned up after he had jetted the manhole/drain, and still had a smile on his face! It was also pouring with rain. I cannot thank him enough!

No running water/sanitation or heating for 36+ hours so far. An hour and a half wait to speak to an advisor to tell us we’re an emergency (still).

Very disappointed with the service
Took time off work for the plumber to visit and attend to the leak! He had the wrong address and refused to visit until I made another appointment!! Very very disappointed

Two toilets had been blocked before the freezing weather. Engineer came and kept trying to unblock from outside manhole. Didn't give up, but weather was freezing. finally gave up but blockage was not cleared. Said he would come back once thawed. He tried hard. My only complaint is that he wanted paying for NOT clearing the blockage. Also because he had no water on board used literally gallons and gallons of OUR water. However, after I poured 4 kettles of boiling water down pan AND engineer used wire directly down the pan, the blockage SEEMS to have cleared. We were then happy enough to pay. The pan is now scratched.

We had a visit today from Dynorod Northwest and couldn’t have been more satisfied. The problem wasn’t straightforward but the engineer was professional, informative, helpful and friendly. The service was great, from online booking through to completion. Thank you!

Excellent workmanship fitted new radiator. Extremely polite and very professional. Left everywhere clean and tidy wouldn't have know they had been . Thanks to Ben and Mark. People who are not on contract with British gas for maintenance should . Worth every penny .

Leaking loo fixed. Pleasant staff. Just a shame had to wait until the next day but understand they were very busy.

I’ve given a 5 star simply because of how good the plumber who was on call was that attended the property.

Response time impacted due to staff shortages but who isn’t impacted because of this in the current world!

Fixed issue within less than 15 minutes!

Very professional explained the issue & what I should do to correct the problem.
