Unfortunately for me I had a huge issue where the drain is damaged in various places and he took the time to clear it …. Even booked me out a machine to clear the stones :))
Once cleared he really diligently used cctv equipment to find the faults. I’m going through a really difficult patch at the moment and so appreciated them making my life easier:)

I would like to say a big thank you to the engineer Dean Barber who came today. The service he provided was excellent and very professional.
Previously, other engineer had visited, but unfortunately the problem with the drainage was not fully resolved. Today Dean came, carefully inspected the situation and managed to completely fix the issue. He was knowledgeable, patient, and clearly experienced. He explained what was happening and made sure everything was properly cleared before leaving.
This level of service truly deserves more than 5 stars. I’m very grateful for his professionalism and dedication to solving the problem.

They came to put sealant around a bath, a simple job. Within two and a bit months a leak appeared, I had British Gas check they found the Dyno-Rod rod plumber had left the entire area around the tap with no sealant leading to a leak. I had tried to ring them to no avail. When i finally contacted them to return to fix their error, they said it was 90 days guarantee and I had been in touch on the last day so nothing they could do.

On 10th October 2025, a Home Care engineer ordered a new F and E tank from Dyno Rod on my behalf to replace the old tank which had leaked and had to be removed. He also booked an appointment for its installation. The date given was 7th November. Four weeks away. I queried this but to no avail. The absence of the tank meant I would have no central heating and, ultimately, no hot water either.
On the 7th November, a Dyno Rod engineer arrived, minus the tank. He knew nothing about a tank. So a tank was ordered with a proposed installation date of 14th November. On 14th November, I rang DR to check if the installation was on track but was told the tank hadn't arrived yet. I was given a new installation date of 19th November. Yesterday (19th Nov) I had a phone call to say the tank still hadn't arrived. The next supposed installation date is 25th Nov. So, in the first cold snap of the season, I'm left without heating and hot water. In fact, by then, I'll have had no hot water for over four weeks!
Fearing that F and E tanks were becoming an endangered species, I did an online search.
My question: Are F and E tanks in short supply?
Answer: "There is no general shortage of F and E tanks for domestic central heating systems. These components are readily available from manufacturers and suppliers." So what is the problem, Dyno Rod? Please explain.
