We moved a number of business interests to Duport and the service has been terrible and has not been resolved:

Issues included:
VAT submitted without any checks
Late payroll
Incorrect payroll
Zero response from them
Mis sold the service

In addition to this, we have never been given any sight of their 'internal' software what wasn't explained was this means if you move from XERO or Quick Books you lose all management information.

They have literally done the minimum forcing me to change accountants again and having now refused to pay them for their shoddy work and to bring my accounts up to date to enable the move they are refusing to hand over the various paperwork.

I have tried to speak to their Directors but they refuse to engage. They have admitted in writing all of the failures above but refuse to help.

The staff are always available to help. The service is excellent and very professional.

Duport are amazing. Being a small sole trader company, they are always on hand to help.
My dedicated accountant is Molli and she is amazing, she has recently helped me with my tax return and allowed me to look at all options to make sure I am only paying the correct amount of income tax.
The team are all very knowledgeable and most importantly very patient.

I renewed the subscription slightly after the expiry date and it took 3 days (after a phone call) to get my emails working again (my renewal date remained the same though - I’ve lost five days). In addition, inflation was at about 8% but that wasn’t for the full year it was just at that moment. My fee (which has always been about £72) went up to £86 which an almost 20% increase (inflation comes down, this won’t). You can’t switch to a different provider without overlapping the subscriptions as your email will stop and we know that you need emails for logins on many things these days, you can’t change account details without email confirmations and I’ve been using it as a personal email too, so it needs to be active. Apart from these gripes, the service and interactions have been good and I’ve not had any issues with my accounts.

I have purchased billions of pounds and negotiated hundreds of contracts over my career but when I retired and started consulting and advising on procurement (for fun), I realised I knew nothing about running a very small single person business. Duport have taken care of that for me over the last 6 years and made it easy for me to follow all the rules whilst still having fun and helping people. I am impressed with the low hassle approach and the way they listen to my questions and respond with ways through any issue. They have been good value for me

Phenomenal Service
Duport has provided phenomenal service to us and their response time is beyond expectations. Molli, Jessica, Alison are just a few to mention for their great service and assistance in all matters!

Duport Associates/Accountancy are totally incompetent and would avoid them at all cost!

My VAT constantly filed late and incorrect. CIS and PAYE I was assured being submitted, NOT THE CASE.

CIS Statements not received despite numerous requests.

All comms via email tickets which are answered via a different associate every time, very frustrating as always someones else dealing with my issue or another department will be in touch!

They are fully aware of there incompetence as sent a refund of one months credit (without a credit note!).

As I have had to get a competent book keeper to do our complete accounts since April 2021 I have requested a full and final refund for works paid for and not carried out.

I will post on here regular updates of communications from Duport regarding my issues for all to see.

Awful customer service, slow, incompetent and NOT customer friendly!
