Everything went wrong. Scheduled a visit to Columbus taking 2 days off work. When I arrived the girl had called off. Then 5 hours later to find out she was new and didn't tell me I needed canceled checks for income. I find the car I like and after days and days of calls and no phone calls. I finally reach someone I called him the day of and reinforced the day I was coming. When arriving, the battery had been changed out because it sat so long. When I got home I found out the rear tire cap was seized and down to 24 pounds. The mechanic which I paid told me there was a patch and done incorrectly along with damaged aluminum rim from prior owner hitting a curb. AND not to mention the car wouldn't start and after hours and hours and Hours that I had to go to an approved mechanic and it could be there for days and guess what no rental car. Done paid all my money for the deposit WHICH CHANGED magically from 1500 to 1645. After speaking with another drivetime GM he helped me navigate and now tomorrow hopefully Hyundai will fix with no out of pocket costs. Oh and don't forget Columbus has NO GM. Guess that answers all my problems questions.

C'mon Drivetime. Not sure if I will return but we shall see how this all goes.

Bought my car less than a year go . It's a 2020 and all the paint is peeling of the car . But yet they wouldn't accommodate fixing the problem. Never bought a car in my life that the paint just chips away . Bad for business I dont recommend ever buying a vehicle from them . They are worthless at at keeping their customers happy .

Avoid Drive Direct if you value honesty and professionalism.

I initially spoke with Pierre Gambrell about a specific vehicle (Stock #KR204323, white Ford Fusion Hybrid, ~108k miles). He told me it was being inspected and gave me a ballpark of $9–10k. I asked to be notified when it was listed—he never followed up.

After finding the listing myself, I called back and spoke with another salesperson. I confirmed the exact vehicle (stock number, color, mileage), and everything checked out.

Later, Pierre reinserted himself into the deal, stating he had to handle it since he was my original contact. From that point on, he controlled the communication.

Pierre then gave me an out-the-door price. I negotiated, and we reached a clear agreement. Based on that, I was preparing to move forward.

Then came the switch.

I was told the price was actually $1,600 higher due to a “mistake” quoting the wrong vehicle—despite the fact that I had identified and confirmed the exact car multiple times. The new price also included questionable add-ons presented as “standard,” which looked more like inflated charges than legitimate fees.

This is not a simple mistake—this is a lack of transparency and accountability.

It gets worse. I attempted to resolve the issue by contacting the manager, Drew Newman. Multiple calls, voicemails, and emails were ignored. No response. No attempt to make things right.

That tells you everything about the leadership and standards at this dealership.
If this is how they handle a basic price agreement before you even step in the door, imagine what happens once you’re sitting in the finance office.

Do yourself a favor—take your business somewhere else.

From start to finish it took roughly maybe 3 hrs, including my test drive. Honestly probably one of the easiest and smoothest experiences I've had buying a car. Fanfode was awesome and did a really great job taking care of us. We got there a little after 6 and ended up leaving after closing but not once did we ever feel rushed nor did I feel like it was taking horribly long either.

People were friendly and helpful. Overall though they seemed very disorganized. I went to look at a certain vehicle only to find out they couldn't find the keys and no one knew what was going on. I drove 45 minutes for it with no heads up and had to go home and wait. 4 hours later I get a call that it was because the vehicle was already on hold with a deposit but nobody knew that. Luckily they had another truck that was similar and I was able to come in and purchase it.

JB and B were great this was my last car place to go to praying to get approved where nobody else would they got me approved fast in a hurry. I was putting in a car that I love runs great guys highly recommend this company to anybody who has bad credit and who needs a car they will help you
