Whatever you do don't go to drivetime they lie so much and have you waste your time dealing with them. Had to call HR in order to get my pay stubs that's the only thing that I did not have with me . But when I first came in and sat down Freddy told me up front your employment was verified your income is verified okay bet. I went and test drove the car. Everything was great next thing you know he tells me he needs a pay stub if I'm already verified but okay no problem I call HR HR did the pay stubs sent them in the next day I'm thinking when he gets the when he gets the pay stubs and his email everything will be fine he gets the email with the pay stubs then he turns around and says oh they're not ADP paystubs. I haven't had an ADP pay stub and I don't know how long. I work for a business the business letterhead was with the pay stubs what else do you need and it came from my job.But the dealership up the street from them literally in walking distance takes my check stubs. I came to drive time because they had the best deals but evidently I was dealing with the wrong people Fred he do a lot to get you in the car but the stuff that he does to get you in the car like he told me to take the chip out my phone and put it in his phone so he can log into my bank account do I look stupid since when is it advised that the car dealership man wants to log into your account I've never seen that happen they doing too much oh yes his name is Freddie Jones the big black man.

What made my experience great is that Allen who is the sales associate walked me through the process step by step, he was never forcing me to make a purchase.

It was busy and the visit was a little long, but Shaun made sure I had everything, he was well spoken, very friendly and to the point. Other than the long visit, it was a great one.

I appreciated Allen for his hard work to get me into my vehicle. But I really appreciated Shaun who put me in a new vehicle. He was very patient and made sure all the controls on the vehicle worked before I left even though they were about to close Shaun made sure that I was happy with my vehicle and I understood my paperwork. i did a lot of online research, and given that my credit is't really fantastic I looked for places that help people in that situation. Originally I talked to Steve, but he was busy when I got there. So we worked with Allen. And he was FANTASTIC!! He definitely earned his way on this one; we originally wanted a particular vehicle but ended up test driving like six of them before we found the one we really wanted. Allen was SO great, and he made the whole experience for us!! Thanks, Allen, we appreicate you!!

Experience to get a vehicle was pretty easy. But that is the best thing I’m able to say about DriveTime. Less than 24hrs later my husband goes to drop off kids at daycare before work and the car breaks down. Yes with our baby in the car. Completely unsafe. Not to mention is was 30degrees outside and the heat wasn’t working. We went through the check list before purchase. Checked out the carfax and felt this was a decision we could trust. We were wrong. We have been referred to a mechanic, however have not gotten our car back. It has been 4 days. If we decide to keep this vehicle, we will never purchase again. And no CUSTOMER SERVICE was not helpful and have not offered anything for this nightmare.

Look we all know what we are getting ourselves into when we go to a place like DriveTime….our credit is less than favorable….but I’ll say this…I just bought a car from them and the sticker price was a couple thousand above what it should have been but the warranty covers next to nothing and you end up paying in the long run an absurd amount for a very used car. The staff are not knowledgeable in the slightest….the cars are very subpar….they didn’t even have an employee to clean the car…I test drove a vehicle that was obviously a flood car and they wouldn’t admit to it at all. I would not recommend unless you just had to do it…that was my case and I’ll get out from under this car as soon as my credit score improves….don’t waste your time unless it’s your only option
