An excellent course and well worth the investment of 3 hours of my time.

Great experience - enthusiastic teaching delivered by expert. Our session was done by Pat. Can appreciate the expertise and was even given some more info that he wasn’t quite sure on after the break which demonstrated great care. Respectfully never want to partake again for obvious reasons.

Happy/safe driving everyone.

Well mannered well turned out and well chosen professionals

I do zoom meetings weekly but logging on through my laptop was near impossible even though I downloaded the team app !
Then tried on my phone , the first guy said we were too late for the meeting and needed to rebook !
A couple of weeks later same problem on the laptop !
I logged on fine on my iphone but the guy said HE would be back in 5 mins and I never saw him again! To cut a long storey I could not get a full refund to book a local in person meeting
Drive tech in person was an hour and a half away drive away ! So needed to book through another agent
No way would I recommend drive tech because of the palarva plus not full refund , there are other options to go with 🤷‍♀️

Good course, I would recommend them

Frankly the best training session I have ever encountered. Trainers were both excellent, delivering a broad range of critical information through a series of interactive exercises. Before we were 10 minutes into the course, I realised there was a great deal I had either forgotten or perhaps never learned about the mechanics of road safety as well as the societal responsibility getting behind the wheel of a car. It was interesting and fun, but importantly, I believe I learned something.

The trainers were extremely welcoming & professional. It was a real learning experience as opposed to a punishment (speed awareness course). We were treated very respectfully and the course was interesting & informative.

Excellent training course, professionally given by Linda via Teams. I would recommend this course, there have been lots of highway code changes since passing my test, and I leant lots.

Very informative but entertaining at the same time. I was dreading going but ended up enjoying the experience. It also brought me up to date with modern driving.

Great experience. Did the speed awareness course yesterday with Ralph. He is very knowledgeable and patient. He used humour effectively. Great job!

Absolutely appalling experience with DriveTech.

I took the day off work specifically to attend this course and followed all of the instructions provided to join the Teams meeting. The instructor, Paul, initially appeared on screen, checked my driving licence and verified my identity. He then told me to log out and log back in.

I did exactly as I was instructed.

After logging back in, the instructor simply didn't return. I logged in and out several times, restarted my device and did everything I could to resolve the issue. I then sat waiting for over an hour, taking screenshots throughout to document the time I was left waiting.

What makes this particularly frustrating is that I had already successfully connected with the instructor and had my identity checked. This wasn't a case of me failing to follow the joining instructions — I followed them and then followed the instructor's own instructions.

I've lost a day's work to attend this course and have been left sitting around for over an hour through no fault of my own.

I contacted DriveTech expecting them to take responsibility and resolve the situation, but instead I was left feeling as though I was the problem and that I somehow hadn't followed the procedure correctly.

This is an incredibly poor way to treat someone who has taken time off work, paid for a course and done exactly what they were instructed to do.

If this is how DriveTech handles technical problems during its courses, I'd seriously question the standard of service being provided. Very disappointing and, frankly, unacceptable.

Please do not select this driving course. I thought being part of the AA it would be of a high standard. No. It’s run by complete incompetent people. No idea how to use teams. Two times I was left in a waiting room on teams by them to be told I didn’t then make the class. I complained by calling and then emailing their complaints team. They took my money and only gave me a part refund. I have waited from July till September for my email of complaint to finally be acknowledged and my full refund finally returned after almost three months. Bear in mind if you email them it can take 20 days for a reply!!!! Avoid at all costs! Useless organisation.

AJMick lead a session today. . excellent trainer and very knowledgeable. I was obviously gutted to be on a.speed awareness course, However this guy was excellent at teaching and participation. So I actually enjoyed it and refreshed on a lot of road knowledge for improved safety.

Nothing to be apprehensive about good people trying to get the message over especially when seeing the figures on fatalities from car accidents

I chose to attend the course to avoid points, as most people there had. So well worth a few hours if your time. Very informative and well run. Not made to feel guilty at all, which I did expect to be honest. It has changed my outlook on being on the roads.

The course was non judgemental and the atmosphere was relaxed but purposeful. Completed online with Microsoft Teams. The medium was well used with appropriate videos and othervisuals, allowing for participant interaction. It's nothing to fear and was a positive experience.

Friendly, helpful and professional

I found the course very interesting and informative and it kept me engaged throughout the 3 hours. The instructor was very professional but had a sense of humour to keep us engaged. I have come away with a better sense of awareness of speeds on roads and safety!

This course was very informative and delivered in a professional but relaxed manner by Michael and Phil. It was good to refresh my knowledge of things you tend to put to the back of your mind. Overall very interesting.
