Drivalia UK - Manchester City Centre Anmeldelser 

I rented a prepaid rental from Drivalia Manchester City center Branch. At pickup I was told that an additional charge would be made for the rental, so I explained that this is a prepaid booking which had already been paid for. I was assured that in light of this fact I will not be charged again. After checking my statements I was shocked to discover that they made the duplicate charge. After reaching out to customer service I was assured that they never charged me twice and it is a pending charge that will disappear. Well 3 weeks later it is still there and there was no reason to be charged in the first place. I would avoid doing a prepaid at this branch.
I received a response to this review that I should reach out to their customer service but if they would have bothered reading the review they would have seen that I did so already but they still haven't resolved the issue!!!

Really good experience with Drivalia Manchester. Pickup and drop-off were quick and easy, the staff were friendly, and the car was clean and exactly what I booked. No issues at all and everything ran smoothly — would definitely use them again.

Do not use absolutely scammers booked car online and didn’t need in the end told not untitled to a refund as booking was done online do not use untrustworthy and total robbers if u do decide to use to not pay online cash on the desk only dirty filthy company

I recently had an awful experience with Drivalia at their Salford branch. I made a confirmed booking over the phone, was assured the car would be ready for collection at 8:00 AM, and yet when I arrived, the branch was completely unattended. No staff showed up until 9:05 AM, and even after waiting longer, I was told there were no cars available at all!

By 9:30 AM, I had to leave without a vehicle, throwing my entire day into chaos. My wife and I had important appointments scheduled, including multiple viewings, which we had to cancel completely because of this unacceptable lack of service. To make things worse, I had to scramble for alternative transport, wasting hours of my time and extra travel costs.

When I raised a complaint, Drivalia’s response was shocking: because I hadn't paid in advance, they claim they owe me nothing—despite sending me a booking confirmation! So, according to Drivalia, a confirmed booking means nothing unless you’ve prepaid? Where is the accountability?

I’ve been a loyal customer, even recommended Drivalia to friends and family—but after this, I wouldn't trust them again. If they truly care about their reputation and customer service, I expect appropriate compensation for the stress, inconvenience, and wasted expenses caused by their failure.

Future customers, be warned: A Drivalia confirmation doesn’t guarantee you’ll actually get a car!

Went direct to depot where I was met by Vicky, was very welcoming and dealt with my needs promptly and professionally. Helped me through the process swiftly in order to help me in my way quickly. Definitely recommend.

Nightmare booked the car online turned up ,and the computer not working .waited 1 hour the guy trying to get it fixed, says it happened before no contingency plan .i had to get a lift 15 miles to hire another car which cost me a further £150 .
