I came to Draftbit after months of frustration with other no-code tools that looked easy but collapsed the moment I tried to do anything with real data. My project, Helvetia Light, is a weather and photography app for Swiss photographers. It needed live weather from Open-Meteo, sun and golden hour calculations, an official FOCA drone zone checker, multi-language support in English, German, French, and Italian, and a native map of Switzerland. That is not a simple app.

I’ve been using Draftbit to build a die-cast collection app called DieCast Vault. The AI-assisted app building process is useful for getting a project started quickly, especially for creating screens and basic app structure without writing everything from scratch.

The preview environment is helpful for testing the app, and I liked being able to describe features in natural language. However, I also ran into some issues with generated code and functionality. For example, one screen produced a React Native rendering error, and some backend actions such as saving confirmed cars to the collection were not working yet. I also found the free AI credits quite limiting for an active development session.

Draftbit is a user friendly application with a lot of integrations allowing the user to easily build a functional framework. The only real issue I have is being stuck behind a paywall or waiting a month to progress.

Draftbit is awesome. I like how easy to build an app without coding. All you have to do is ask assistance with AI and it's done. I like how accurate it is in terms of understanding your command.
