Beware! Worst Service Ever!
Booked a service and MOT appointment by phone, specifically said i wanted the service in Glasgow City Centre, only to be told when I brought the car in, no your appointment is at another branch!
Woman at the desk was rude, arrogant and generally disinterested!
I now have a MOT that runs out in 2 days and an unserviced vehicle!
I will never, ever go back to this company again.

Fantastic service from the guys in parts dept.
Bought new discs for my car, Nicholas and his colleague carried them to my car.
Special mention to Nicholas and Kevin for their superb support in sourcing the parts for my other 3 series.
Parks bmw Hamilton shambolic
Absolute shambles of a company. Tried to get i8 serviced, from start to finish staff don't have a clue. Started with office staff having no clue what they are talking about, eventually booked online, this is clearly not linked to bmw and must be managed by outside agency as I didn't receive confirmation. I phoned Hamilton branch however nobody available and asked for a call back, I'm still waiting! Following day I phoned back and eventually got passed to a 3rd party who confirmed service was booked but couldn't access Hamilton diary, I got passed back to Hamilton and again nobody available, this time I did get a call back only to be told that the pick up I asked for wasn't available as this was planned weeks in advance, eventually this was resolved by the person on the phone. Later same day someone else phones to say that the pick up wasn't available! I explained I had been told it was, she then said that was fine and it would be picked up. Next day car was picked up and within the hour I was phoned telling me the cost of the service was over £1000 instead of the £415 quoted. Told me I had ordered minor service when major was due. I read over the receipt for previous service which was a major carried out at a different bmw garage. Guy agreed that it had been done as I said but effectively "computer said no" he spoke to his service manager who agreed to carry out minor service but couldn't guarantee that they could reset service light and still recommends that I get a major service despite it only being due a minor, in the end I told them just to return the car. I've checked YouTube and can actually reset the service light myself on the drive but bmw themselves can't do it. I have never dealt with such a group of incompetent individuals in my life.
Lack of oil!
I purchased the car in June 22 and recently the computer warning system gave notice that there was a drivetrain fault with oil. In one case a printed report stated too much oil?
After much deliberation, and further research, it was discovered that the car was lacking oil which came as a shock!
Thankfully, the helpful Service Manager (David Wright) who I found was very personable and friendly throughout the process, acted professionally when finding the source of the problem. Which he did!
I do hope this is the last of this niggling problem.
Douglas Park are my local BMW dealer…
Douglas Park are my local BMW dealer but despite no having purchased any of my new BMW’s from them over the past 10 years they have always carried our their servicing. But there record with me is so poor I am now having to question apart from convenience why do I use them. I have a number of complaints but to avoid a long diatribe of events I will just describe 3. The short videos the service engineers sends would be useful if they were reflecting in the subsequent actions. Firstly I received a video advising all my brakes had plenty of wear left which came as a surprise as the car was there to have the rear brakes replaced due to a warning light appearing. Relief was replaced by surprise when I picked the car up and was faced with an invoice in excess of £400. On another occasion the tyre measurements recorded on the video did not reflect the measurements on the invoice. When I questioned this I was told to return an National Tyres would take the measurements are they were independent. Needless to say I now had a third set of measures none of which tied up. And thirdly last week I received a call when my car was in for a brake fluid service advising the car needed 7 litres of AdBlue and asking if I wanted them to go ahead and add this fluid. But as I had only just added 12 litres of AdBlue 3 days earlier I declined. When I picked the car up the reading showed the AdBlue was at 100%. When I queried the call I was told the computer advised of the need and it must have been the angle the tank was at!!!
I now don’t plan to use DP in the future although I do want to say I like their Service Manager and find him very personable and friendly.
Subpar service
Got a fault related to the Emergency Call System on the Dashboard of my BMW. I called my local BMW dealer, and they booked my X3 for 25th Jan 2023, more than a month from today (19 Dec 22). So, I have to risk driving a premium car knowing it has a fault. I am sure a so called premium brand like BMW can provide a much better service than this.

Took my F900xr in for a 12,000 mile service and I have to say, "I was totally delighted with the way my service and related works were attended to" I had requested for additional work to be done at the same time as my service and the price I was charged for the service and the additional work was a lot less expensive than I had imagined.
I'd like to thank Scott McIntosh (service dept) who was a pleasure to deal with and as always, was extremely helpful.
Ill definitelybe back and I'd definitely recommend using them for any service work you require.
Proven Serial Incompetence
The Oil service was due on my car so thought I'd give DP BMW Servicing another chance - hoped they'd improved since the debacle at their Port Dundas branch previously. Wish I hadn't bothered - incredibly, the Hillington branch proved to be every bit as incompetent as the Port Dundas branch. Arrived at 8:30 prepared to wait for an hour or so for a quick oil service and was surprised to be told my car also needed some recall work, it would be after 10:00 before my car could be taken and the recall work would take several hours to complete. How could I possibly wait about for that? Why didn't they tell me about the recall when I booked the oil service or call me to make appropriate arrangements? Their next available service date with a courtesy car was over a month away so I took my business elsewhere. Once again Giffnock BMW saved the day - I called and arranged a service appointment with a courtesy car. Thankfully, they actually know how to run a car servicing business - without being prompted, they informed me about the recall and suggested a courtesy car saying "it would be impractical to wait". Now that's the kind of customer service I'm talking about. Come on DP, get your act together ... that's another 2 hours of my life lost to your amateur shenanigans not to mention the avoidable environment impact of the fuel driving to Hillington and back.
Waste of time
I took my car in is it had a problem with the sound system. Now, I don't stay in Glasgow and it was a 200 mile round trip. I took the day off work, spent the day wasting my time in glasgow when I got the call my car was fixed and ready to collect at 5pm. Picked it up and 20 minutes into the drive home the sound system was worse than ever. Had to listen to music through my phone for the drive home. Needless to say I called them immediately but was told the guy was busy and would phone me back asap. Never happened. Talk about a waste of time and money...
AVOID HAMILTON SERVICE ! HORIBLE PLACE
AVOID the service departament Iin Hamilton ! Since Sept.2021 I keep bringing my car to sort out drivetrain malfunction and they can not repair it properly . After many visits and a lot money spent my car still got drivetrain light.
Two times in the row they gave me car back and unsured that car is GOOD and TESTED, after driving 20 miles same lights came up on the screen . PURE JOKE !
The service manager is very unpolite and completly unhelpfull
STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE
Absolutely disgusting
Absolutely disgusting, Abhorrent, Unscrupulous and Evil.
I purchased a car foe 15000 and used my old car as a 2000 deposit.
The car doesn't measure up as advertised on fuel economy, 28 mpg on eco mode rather than 40 mpg.
I questioned this and asked for a settlement figure on day 21.
8 days later they hadn't come back to me and I complained.
They offered to buy the car back for 13000 which effectively means that my old car didn't exist at all?
How is this possible?
Why is it ok to leave a customer in the lurch for 8 days.
Shocking, horrible, infuriating.
Now im stuck with the car whether I like it or not.
Do yourself a favour don't make the same mistake as me.

Recently bought a bmw 320 estate from this dealership all I can say is DO NOT USE THEM!! After sale is shocking they do not return your calls or try in any way to contact you!
When I bought car I noticed a few things which alarmed me straight away brake pedal was juddering due to heavy scored and pitted front brakes, rear brakes not much better, wipers do not clear screen and could not remove dust caps from wheels to adjust tyre pressures!
Put in to my local garage for mot as I was could not understand how this passed mot test the day before with no advisory’s, the car failed it’s mot test on wipers not clearing screen and advisory’s on front and rear brakes! And this they told me had went through a used bmw check 🤣🤣🤣 disgusting attitude from Tracey when I tried to book car in and salesman Connor will not anwser my emails.
Having to take it up with bmw finance now.

Poor aftersales service I wouldn't recommend
Poor salesman - dismissive attitude
Recently enquired about replacing my X3 with either new or nearly new. Salesman, who didnt believe in 'sugar coating' bad news that cars were not available left my wife and I feeling dismissed, undervalued, angry and disapointed by his blunt and dismissive attitude. Nothing available, nothing coming through. Cant keep us in mind just try coming back in a few months and just maintain your current car was the advice given. Visited Harry Fairbairn in Irvine on spec and found such a different and helpful attitiude. So, despite me and family having bought cars from Parks BMW over the years and get the car serviced there, I wont be buying any New BMWs from Parks again. Am still angry. There are other dealers out there.

Used the Glasgow branch for service and repairs ,incompetence of the highest order onto my 3rd visit for a squeak on the brakes after new pads shoes and discs .
Company and car to avoid
Bought new Mini Countryman Cooper S All 4 in June- absolutely loved it. Unfortunately when the weather turned frosty I couldn't access due to doors freezing up. No solution to this and after much discussion, and contacting Mini UK. I ended up returning car at considerable loss. I need a car I can get into. Company not overly interested- only solution was another Mini (which may have had same problems)or a BMW(none of which were meeting my needs). Think carefully if you want a Mini and live in UK weather conditions. Poor service. Company not interested in any losses incurred- despite car having a fault.
5 Stars BMW Douglas Park Team
I would highly recommend all the team at BMW Hillington in particular Colin for his prompt action help and time arranging service appointments also to friendly helpful staff Norris, Anne, Alice and finally to Hammy and all the garage service team who delivered exceptional prompt repairs, excellent customer service and assisted at every stage to resolve Technical issues I had with my car. I Really can’t thank the whole team enough and would highly recommend their 5 Star Service. Thank you very much once again Therese.
Buying a new car from Douglas Park
Purchased s brand new car from the Glasgow dealership and decided to trade it in for a different model one year later approximately.
Not in the least bit interested as sales man and his communication was the worst i have ever experienced in my 40 years plus in driving.
Once they have your money, they couldn't care less about you, even though i was a returning good customer.
Basically ignored my e-mails and phone calls.
Would never recommend or use again.
Stay well clear.
Worse place ever, waste of time and money
Incompetent technicians who spent an entire day checking for faults but found nothing. Dropped car off at 8am and collected at 5pm to which they agree there was an issue with vibration through the car but could not pinpoint it. For further investigations they require another 2/3+ days. I purchased this car 2 months ago, with a years warranty, but they said that inspections would still be charged. So potentially I could be spending hundreds/thousands of £ for their time, due to their lack of knowledge and laziness. Why not go to a local garage or somewhere else for inspection since it will be a lot cheaper. Most ridiculous part was, they didn’t check for wheel balancing, suspension, tyre related issues but spent 10 hours on the transfer box. The staff who I spoke to asked me if the local garage have said anything about it. Is that even a valid question? You have all demonstrated how incompetent you all are, for a customer to go round asking other people for help and taking educational guesses about what the issues are so that we can tell you exactly what requires fixing is just ludicrous. I thought you were all better than that. I’m left speechless, disappointed and will never return. Not to mention we turned up at the centre only to be told our appointment was cancelled and rescheduled to the week after, but a voicemail was left. Listening back to the voicemail it was to ask for a callback. We don’t usually complain, but this is just unacceptable.
Worst Car Dealer EVER
This is the worst car dealer I have ever had the displeasure of buying a car from. When I asked questions about the car I was told what I wanted to hear instead of the facts. I was told at first that the car had heated seats and until I asked how to work them and then was told there weren’t heated seats. When I got the car home I begun to realise how dirty the car was and later found tobacco products under the seats. There was a film over the passenger seat and when it wore off it revealed that the leather was badly damaged. The car needed a service within 4K miles too which didn’t add up to what the salesman told me. I.e. the salesman said the car required a service at 17k miles or 2 years. The car had driven 8k miles and was 1 year old. I contacted the garage to discuss and they made promises to fix the problems I encountered then stopped returning calls when the time came to follow through. I have been left with no confidence in the car and will trade in at the first opportunity. I won’t purchase BMW again.
