I don’t normally write or leave reviews, but on this occasion I will, as I was extremely impressed and what a great bunch of honest & helpful guys!

I’d been having growing problems with an old AR turntable and recently took it to Andy at Doug Brady Hi Fi along with the amp.

A clean and service for the amp and the problem diagnosed and repaired on the turntable, along with a couple of tweaks. Now, both the turntable and amp sound brilliant! No more problems and I can really enjoy my music again!

It was refreshing to find a great bunch of honest guys, and the price of the service and repair was excellent value for money, in fact it was probably the best money I’ve spent in a long time!

If you have a problem with an old turntable, amp or Hi Fi, or are interested in getting into vinyl, then give them a call!

Contacted DBHiFi by email to get some advise and stock/delivery info. Very quick to respond and tell me everything i neede to know. . . . even tried to get my order out same day seconds from the cut off point.
In the end I ordered the Ruark Audio MR1 MK2's which duly arrived next day as promised.
Over the moon with Ruark's and would not hesitate to go back to DBHiFi again.

I ordered a Rega Planar 1 turntable for my partner’s birthday. This was at a time where there was a huge demand for these turntables. The team kept me updated on the progress of my order and did everything they could to get my order in time for his birthday. They were enthusiastic, informative and honest throughout the whole process. Turntable arrived in time and we are over the moon with it! Overall very impressed.

After looking for a shop local to me to source some Bowers & Wilkins 700 series speakers for a lounge 5.1 setup, I stumbled upon Doug Brady.

I've been dealing with Mike, and what a pleasure. He has advised and given me plenty of information to help choose which kit to opt for. No pushy sell, but with service like this, their is no need to. Order was placed and was ready for collection in 2 days.

Doug Brady's is the place to shop for your HI FI needs. The staff are knowledgeable, supportive, friendly and genuinely try to match you to your perfect system. I've spent years going and listening to equipment at their shop with no pressure to buy. The service I have received in buying my upgraded system has been exemplary and I think of them as my friends rather than sales people.

I would like to say how impressed I have been with the advice and service I have had with Dougbradyhifi.

Lockdown has got me listening to more music and pining an upgrade to my over 20 years old setup. I Googled and found DougBrady were running Package deals on buying an amp, speakers and speaker cable. I called up and spoke to Steve. The amp I had been thinking was the Arcam SA 20 but after talking to Steve I realised I would be better buying the SA30 because it had a built in DAC meaning I could dispense of my Arcam CD streamer and use my Oppo for playing CDs. Along with a pre existing offer on B&W speakers and the package offer on top I saved over £500 on the full retail price.

It all arrived 2 days later and I’m sat here listening to it grinning from ear to ear enjoying listening to it.

Superb service and price and I would definitely buy from DougBrady again.

I have been a Doug Brady customer for twenty years. I don't need to go anywhere else. They fulfill all my hifi needs. Listening to music is my passion but I can't afford to spend silly money on it. Brady's are always there to help and advise. Between the staff they cover all the bases, vinyl (or LPs to me), CDs and streaming, speakers and headphones. I just can't say enough good things about them. I'd give them 6 out of 5 they're that good.

A first class buying experience. The search for my Hi-Fi system took several visits over a couple of months, and at no time did I feel under pressure to rush my decision, on the contrary, I was encouraged to explore all of the hi-fi combinations available to me in their listening rooms. This allowed me to make a well informed decision and I couldn’t be happier with the combination of system components I purchased. All of the staff are welcoming and knowledgable and in my case it was Jon who patiently helped me mould a system to a sound that suits my listening taste. I am so glad I chose Doug Brady and I would highly recommend their shop to anyone.

Looking to replace my headphones with a specific pair i was able to demo them without any presure, both sales or time wise. I ended up going back the following day to purchase after some reflection.
The service i got from start to finish was very simply world class...these guys REALLY know their stuff, both current and historical, their essentially all massive audiophiles....aka HiFi geeks.

I phoned the Warrington store to purchase a Ruark R4 sysyem and spoke to Danny who said they didn't have one in stock but could order one. I went with a friend and the team were very helpful, Danny took us into a music room and brought the display model down. I played a portion of my CD's and listened to the DAB stations as I was able to test the machine myself. Great customer service as I prefer to give my business to the smaller independent stores, My friend and I felt relaxed and homely. I ordered the system and got a phone call a couple of days later and went to pick it up. The team even offered to carry it to the car. My friend and I highly recommend this store and would go back for future purchases. Thank you from a very satisfied customer.

First visit to Doug Brady from some distance away after a couple of very helpful phone calls. Really great customer service from a knowledgeable team, unlimited help and support, nothing was too much trouble. Fair play, the most competitive price too, it really does make a nice change. I would strongly recommend, it's a great showroom. Thanks guys.

Been to this shop twice, now. Once, to buy a piece of relatively inexpensive audio equipment and they were brilliant, arranging a home demo for me. The second time, I wasn't buying owt but arranging for the repair of a faulty cable under warranty. I was still made to feel very welcome, and they completed the repair same day! Genuinely good guys, too. They all love that emotional kick great music played through a great system can give you, and are keen to help their customers achieve that, regardless of whether it is real world expenditure on a full system, or multi £K investments in speaker cable. Gold star.

I recently bought a funk firm LSD turntable from Doug Bradys Hifi shop. From start to finish John and the rest of the staff were very helpfull, Andy set the turntable up for me and is now spinning discs in my house.
Doug Brady Hifi is one of them rare type of shops with great customer service (the way it should be), they want you to leave the shop happy with the purchase you have made, and you will (like i was)
I will returning there soon to purchase a new cartridge, five stars from me all the way

Do you other firms that care as much? If Doug Brady takes the trouble to ask every customer what they think of them - it just shows how important the customer is! Added to providing great value and expertise -why would you go elsewhere - I won't!
