Buying from them was absolutely fine — competitive prices, everything carefully packaged and delivered as expected. Dispatch is a little slow, but nothing too concerning.
However, if you need to return something, be prepared to enter what appears to be a very long-term relationship with your refund!
I paid for the return on 25th September and it was delivered back to the store on 26th September. The store confirmed they had received it, but despite chasing, I’m still waiting for my money back.
I appreciate they’re an independent business and perhaps keeping hold of customers’ money for as long as possible is part of the business model… but unfortunately it’s not a particularly good one from a customer’s perspective.
The irony is that I would actually have bought something else from them had I received my refund in a reasonable timeframe. Instead, the delay has simply lost them a customer. By the time my money eventually finds its way back to me, I suspect that ship will have sailed.
A shame, because the buying experience itself was good. Unfortunately, a decent customer experience doesn’t really count for much if getting your money back turns into an endurance test.
