Wondering if these guys are in trouble - there seem to be a lot of poor reviews recently and I've just been told by Wiggle that the two locations nearest me have been turned off on their system as accepting parcels, despite still being shown as available on Doddle's own website. Not reassuring - fortunately Wiggle offered me an option to use Collect Plus, which I've now done. Personally I would avoid them in future until things improve, as the signs don't seem too good and point to an organisation which is poorly run and not in control.

Extremely bad service. Wish I could give zero stars. Had to use them for an Amazon return, gave parcel to a local store (42-44 Bishopsgate, London, EC2N 4AH) and wasn't given any receipt, was told I would get an email receipt within 24 hours which is no good if I wanted to walk out of the store with proof of my return. 4 days later, I still have no email. Wish I read the reviews before accepting Amazon's use of this courier. On top of that, the store keep was extremely rude. Would never ever use them again and have shared my experience with everyone I know to warn them of the same. It's crazy how bad a service can be yet still be in business.
UPDATE (7th May 2019): Following the response from Doddle. It is unacceptable to think it's okay to allow the customer to walk away from the store without some kind of proof that the return has taken place. If it can't be electronic, then some paper receipt should be given. I will not be using Doddle again and I will be asking Amazon to use a different courier if they ever try to get me to use Doddle in future.

Returned an amazon parcel to a Doodle store in Brixton a week ago. Was told an e-receipt would be sent but still nothing. Amazon have not received the return. Feel very let down by the service.

I tried to return a parcel to ASOS through Morrisons but no e-receipt was given from Morrisons Camden Town Doddle service. I asked for evidence that they have received the parcel but the staff said he cant give any receipt. Im not even sure if he put the correct return label on the parcel. The process of returning the parcel should come with some sort of proof just in case a staff might steal the parcel.
I don't have a tracking number, receipt and proof.
UPDATE: the parcel has been returned safely and I got my refund. Doddle customer service was quick to respond and tried to help me out. Thanks for sorting it out.
P.S. just make sure you take a photo of the parcel with the new barcode sticker. This helped with the tracking

Just quarter of an hour ago returned an Amazon item. First experience and was shocked that I wasn’t given a receipt. I have just given away an item of value with no proof whatsoever. Claiming that the code would have that information isn’t acceptable as I do not have access to that info. On the Amazon site it does not acknowledge that the item has been handed over to Doddle. This is a ridiculous joke on Customer rights

Am using doddle at the moment for an Amazon return. Dropped it off at the local Morrison's......No email receipt, no confirmation....2 weeks later and I am still waiting for the item to even get back to Amazon. Contacted doddle and was told my parcel had been accepted. But now no sign of it. I would have got my refund quicker just putting it in the post. Will never use Doddle again. It's a waste of time!

So I had my it sent to your lock up. Amazon informed me it had arrived and I didn’t need any cod to collet. Went to locker got told I needed a code . Showed lady emails from amazon codes not need still not allowed my item I even email you about it and ended up with two generic email reply’s. even a phone call from Amazon was turned down. In the end the very embarrassed manager had to ring you and gues where the code you you wanted was printed. On the box of my item so how the hell was I going to get that. This is my second bad experience with your service I’ll just return back to click and collect. This has taken 5 hours to resolve and I’ve not even been able to talk to anyone from your company. Very poor service maybe you should change you business model to selling stink bombs and itching powder as you would make a fourtune opening up joke shops. Regards aaron

If i could give no stars I would!! My first time using Doddle to return and order an ice breaker for my future mother in law for Christmas. I received an email and text saying my parcel was ready to collect from Surrey Quays Cybernet G shop. My partner went to collect it and was told after a day of got delivered it was taken back to the depot and will be delivered the next day. The next me at came i called to chase and was told lies and no explanation whatsoever on what happened to my parcel! After the 3rd day of chasing I was told my parcel was sent back to wiggle warehouse by mistake and that I will be refunded soon. I cannot believe how much of a frustrating and disappointing situation I have been put in. It's been 2 weeks and have not heard anything back. No phone number to contact doddle or wiggle on everything is done via email only!!! You cannot even track where the return item has gone or where it is currently at!! Honestly what a disgrace!! I really wished I read reviews before using them. Unacceptable and shouldn't even be allowed to do this to other people!! I'm so upset as i don't have the product or my money back yet!! Sounds like I'm not the only one who got scammed by them

I have previously used Doddle for convenience but never again.
3rd Jan, I placed an order with a supplier for delivery to Morrison Doddle Aldershot.
4th Jan, I tracked my order and the a courier had delivered my order to Morrison at 10.21 and was signed for by a floor manager.
4th Jan PM, I visited Morrisons as I had till not received confirmation my order had been received and was ready for pick up. Spoke to manager but my parcel could not be found. Left my mobile number and was advised I would be called when located, NO CALL.
10th Jan, finally recd a text at 11.39 advising parcel ready to collect at Morrisons, no explanation, no apology

Terrible service used Doddle in Morrisons Kettering to return an item to Amazon, and they’ve managed to loose my parcel, the CS person in Morrisons couldn’t of been more disinterested if she of tried when I arrived, told me their scanner doesn’t always work, “But I’ll try” (don’t put yourself out like !) said yes it gone through, then nothing, no email acknowledgement, Morrisons don’t know where my parcel is and Doddle haven’t received it. Brilliant. Don’t waste your time, use a different courier.

Absolutely terrible. I took a parcel to Morrisons in Bedford, as instructed by Amazon website. Despite a BIG SIGN on the wall saying AMAZON over the Doddle desk, the bored CS person said 'we don't take Amazon parcels". I pointed out the sign and she said "yeah but our scanner 'don't' work on Amazon pacels". What?!? I told Amazon.....not interested. So I went to Doddle in Debenham's and they took it without a hitch (had to pay for parking though, which kind of defeated the point of using a free courier service).

Great service! There are loads of Doddle outlets so it's very convenient to pick up / send off parcels. Every kiosk I've visited have had polite, smiley staff who are always keen to help and that makes every visit to Doddle very pleasant. Keep up the good work guys!
