Very helpful staff, purchased garden furniture and good selection of plants

Free coffee always good as a reward card holder. Staff very helpful and cheerful. Prices good a pleasant way to spend an hour or two

I visited the Gillingham store with a friend to spend a voucher and found something I really needed in the household section, but my best memory of the store was the personal service which my friend received from one of the restaurant checkout staff when she had difficulty carrying her tray as this was really outstanding. My only disappointment with the store was the lack of easy access to the store for public transport users. There is room for improvement there as many older customers do not have cars.

Sadly the restaurant lets you down, there is little or no air changes and the air is stale.
In the summer there is considerable heat gain from the glazing, with no air conditioning and the high level circulating fans never on, it is not a place you won’t to be in.
High level cleaning is also required.

Excellent choice of plants and pots.
Very pleased that Maidenhead Aquatics are at Dobbies as it makes buying pond plants so accessible.
All staff very pleasant and helpful.
As always a trip to Dobbies finished with a steaming cup of coffee and a delicious piece of cake 😊

I was presently surprised by receiving 2 free drinks as I didn’t know I had those each month, so thank you young lady on the till.
I’m always pleased with the merchandise I get from here.

Garden centre ok but restaurant needs looking at re staffing issues it takes far to long to get coffee and food is cold by time you get to the till you pay.

I enjoy going to Dobbies the staff are very helpful & friendly. I look forward to having a cappuccino in the restaurant. I especially like going when they have a sale on! I spend quite a bit as I do like to make my front & back gardens look nice. Keeping them looking good is the only hobby that I have as I can only do a bit at a time due to my health but it puts a smile on my face when it's all done!

All good service throughout. Cakes could be bigger slices as prices have gone up! Slices seem smaller?
Reduced indoor plants need to be cheaper as we're taking a 50/50 chance they survive.

Dobbies in Gillingham is a store I regularly visit. The parking area is fairly large so I've had no problems finding an available space so far!
Their plentiful plants and shrubs are definitely worth going to browse and I'm happy to say I rarely leave without finding a bargain or two.
The restaurant is spacious, clean and well staffed with a lovely variety of delicious hot food or snacks.
Other areas of interest include books, gifts, an aquatic area and a new small Sainsbury's food outlet.
Definitely worth a visit if you are passing👍

Prices in restaurant were exorbitant.£6.50 for a toastie,ludicrous,and £2.85 for “Honeybun”millionaire shortcake biscuit that tasted dreadful was taking the rise.
On the plus side the young barista was very personable and efficient.
Also the help we received in the shop by a staff member was first rate and she couldn’t have been more helpful.
Recommendations reduce your exorbitant prices and value your efficient staff.

Went to the Gillingham branch for a change. Have to say, what a pleasant surprise. Helpful happy staff. Especially in the Restaurant. Nothing was too much trouble.
I normally shop in the Ashford store..
Where you'll be pushed to see anyone be helpful in the Restaurant. Let alone smile.
The staff in Ashford could do with going to Gillingham to learn about customer service.

Dobbies is always clean friendly and their is always plenty of choice, wether it’s for coffee and a cake, a special gift a garden tool or a tree for the garden.
My favourite bit is the sick plant bit, where there are always some great reductions and the plants aren’t really sick, just either a bit out of season or a little worse for wear a quick prune and they are as good as new !
I have always found all the staff to be super friendly and if you ask a question and they don’t know the answer, they will find someone that does.
