Quality material delivered in a timely fashion. I would have appreciated the items arriving in an unmarked box though. This was gift for someone in my house and they were able to tell right away.

Customer service at the stores is…
Customer service at the stores is well-trained, and the associates are very friendly, too. I had to call several stores for paint that I needed for a project and they made sure to tell me exactly the quantity they had in stock before I drove all over LA. I then had a return of excess paint and they were more than helpful getting that taken care of. I will always come to Blick for my personal and professional needs.

Not sure why when I order from other places using good ol' USPS it gets here in days...
FedEx? Weeks...literally weeks
There no appears to be no major art supply mail order businesses that use USPS at all...
Also; the $5 off coupon code failed at checkout

Also; got to the stated amount to 'earn' free shipping and yet website did not calculate said 'free' shipping
SO DAMN FRUStRAtaED
As of today, 10-14-24...my latest order has sat at a FEDEX distro hub in WI...hasn't moved since the 8th.
Why is this OK, Blick?
Your failed codes and specific bs instructions for fulfilling the dangled 'discount' smells to high heavens...and all I get is a 'there there...you must jump thru hoops one and two in sequence while looking backwards into a pool of water...'
Will refuse package if it ever shows up.
This is what collapse looks like...and guess who loses?
You've lost me and (from the looks of it) many others.

FedEx literally has had my package at the Stockton hub for ? 5 days now...not moving.
Still no package.
FEDEX SUCKs and I will not order from companies that use them again.

Regarding the $5 e-gift coupon, it should be entered in the payment step at checkout, not in the promo code box in the cart. This was mentioned in the email or popup that provided the code, and there is also a message in the cart to guide you if it’s entered incorrectly.
For the promo code you used for discounted shipping, please note it requires an order total of $59 or more for free shipping. Since your order total was $52.08, it did not meet this threshold for free shipping, but we are happy to say that it did qualify for the discounted shipping rate of $2.95.
Shipping to post office boxes in remote locations can limit available options and may lead to additional delivery time, regardless of the carrier. We provide estimated delivery dates during checkout, which are generally accurate, but unforeseen events like wildfires or severe weather can occasionally cause delays.

I will not use anyone else for framing
I have used "Cat" the framer for at least 7 projects. The work is impeccable. Easy, helpful, and she brought up issues I never would have thought about. This is so much better than Michael's. I won't go anywhere else!

Sunday-bad experience with cashier
Sunday, I visited the Omaha store and was looking for a canvas and was not finding the size I was looking for. When I asked for help in finding an alternate size I was told "Art is a very personal thing". OK, I get it but are there optional canvas sizes that could meet my need? We are talking an art supply to create art not art. When I tried to explain why I was looking for help and that I had driven al long way, the cashier evidently didn't like my tone of voice and became defensive and I was told by her that I shouldn't talk to her that way (what way?) and I should leave. I had a purchase I had bought the previous day with me and I didn't think would work for me, so I said I soon as I got the credit I would leave the store. I was then told by the cashier that the staff was just minimum wage earners paid to cash out customers and had no knowledge of art or art supplies. (salesperson 71700). She handled my return expediently and I left.
Unfortunately, given my treatment, I doubt I will ever return to the store and its going to be tough to continue to refer other people there.
I had been to this store several times before and was able to get assistance and had referred others there. Unfortunately, one bad experience takes away three good experiences.

This company is beyond real!
This company is beyond real, I order 2 items that listed available, and I had a big order and mostly were gifts for Xmas and I was traveling so dates are imp. They ship all the items except for 2 And they fail to mention that these 2 items were on back order.
I receive an email a week later saying sorry these items didn't ship. I complain, they said they made a mistake Ans didn't update their system, buy dont worry we will ship one of the items soon. Today they shipped it and charged me 15.75 $ shipping for one tube of paint that fosted 14$?! And I had free shipping with the initial order, so noni got screwed with it. I have been using this shop for a long time, but this was beyond anything I experienced with an open shop! Ill never be using their shop again! Be aware!

We are very sorry for the unexpected backorder on the tube of paint. At the time your order was placed, our inventory indicated that we had enough stock to complete the order however we only had one tube instead of two. This happens very rarely, and we apologize for the inconvenience this caused. We were happy to ship the tube of paint to you as soon as it came back in stock.
Our policy is that we bill you only when your order ships, and that includes backorders. Backordered items are not billed until they actually ship, and there is no additional shipping charged for those backorders. As the copy of your receipt shows, the charge was for the tube of paint itself, plus the sales tax, and the shipping was still free. The summary shows $14.74(paint) + $1.03 (sales tax) = $15.77 and shipping =$0.00.
We hope this explanation will alleviate your concerns with the charges on your recent order, and again, we apologize for the unexpected backorder. If you have any further questions or concerns, please let us know. We are always happy to help!
Send junk products without authorization, then demand payment
Ordered a large frame for $70, it arrived broken and was of very poor quality. I wrote a review stating this, did not request or initiate a replacement. The company sent me one anyway, also terrible, also broken. I told them this one also arrived broken but made it clear I was only giving feedback. They sent a THIRD anyway and are now threatening to charge me for the extra frames they decided to send and now want back. I just want them to leave me alone, but they're ignoring that part.

Our apologies the frame arrived damaged and was unacceptable for your art work. In cases like this, we do normally replace the item, unfortunately, we did not actually work with you to arrange this.
Please dispose of the frames. The replacements were never billed to you, and we will issue credit for the original shipment. Again we apologize for the lack of communication on this order. This is not typical of the service we endeavor to provide.
Great store with great prices, but be a smart shopper!
Great place to find paint brands that other competitors do not carry. Make sure to shop around when you are looking at brushes/brush cleaning supplies however. On several instances I have found that Cheap Joe's (even Amazon) offers hefty discounts for the same product.
