I was welcomed by a smile and an offer of a beverage, Gary Scot my salesman was very knowledgeable about the sofas inside and out and helped me find the right sofa for me.

We visited DFS store in Cambridge, and our costumer service experience was excellent. Martin and the rest of the team helped us choose the right sofa, that meets our specific needs, and helped us make the right choice.

We had a very positive experience purchasing a new sofa at DFS. There was a wide variety of options available, making it easy to find exactly what we wanted. Martin, our store assistant, was patient, friendly, and helpful throughout the process. Even down to refreshments. We would certainly return to DFS if we need additional furniture in the future.

Nice experience today. Very unpressured experience which used to put me off with sofa showrooms. The guy was really nice to chat to, literally no hard selling but his personality and information actually made my decision to buy rather than the usual ‘think about it’. Very pleasantly surprised. Oh, and well chuffed with the sofa and the price (Bought the Orca corner)

We recently bought from the Cambridge store. Went in one weekend when we had really great service and advice actually choosing sofas based on our spaces. Went back the following weekend to double check fabrics and Martin was also super friendly and helpful.

3 Deliveries, 3 Filthy Sofas—Avoid DFS at All CostsI am beyond disappointed with DFS. Since purchasing a sofa in November 2025, I have been subjected to three separate deliveries, and every single one has arrived in an appalling, unsaleable state.Our first Ada sofa arrived stained and filthy because the plastic wrapping was ripped, allowing oil and dirt to seep into the cream fabric. We were persuaded to keep it while a replacement was ordered. After months of waiting and personal reassurances from the Cheltenham Branch Manager that the next one would be "quality checked and professionally wrapped," the second sofa arrived even worse. It was so wet, stained, and ripped that the drivers didn’t even take it off the lorry.In a final attempt to resolve this, we paid extra to upgrade to the Jules sofa. We were again promised by management that this was a different warehouse and would be personally inspected. It arrived today, and yet again, it was a disaster. The "protective" plastic was shredded, the fabric was filthy, and the sides were ripped from being dragged around.While other companies on the same lorry had their furniture safely stored in boxes, DFS continues to use flimsy plastic that offers zero protection.The customer service is non-existent. No call-backs, no accountability, and nothing but empty sales pitches from the branch manager. I have spent thousands of pounds to be left with nothing but stress and a house full of damaged goods. To add to the above our delivery was arranged for a Monday morning we were sent emails to confirm, 2 days before delivery we got a call to say dfs was outside with our sofa when explaining we was not at home customer services advised us they would log that we have now refused delivery. They refused to listen and completely ruined our day out. They we onto say they would be cancelling delivery for the monday.
Monday morning the sofa arrived and we were informed by the delivery company that they had no idea who attempted to deliver it days before. I am now rejecting the order and want a full refund. Save yourself the headache and go elsewhere DFS are a unreliable and Incompetent.

Relaxed and comfortable no pressurised salesmen approached us but did ask if we needed help
And guided us in the right direction . Once we chose our settees the salesman helped us and gave us good advice sat with us whilst we filled out the forms to buy it . He gave expert advice and was friendly but professional . So pleased with what we chose .
