I purchased 2 tickets in the first row of the dress circle for my first trip to London, which coincided with my birthday. Two hours before the start of “MJ The Musical” on Thursday March 6th, I receive an email from Delfont saying the show has been cancelled due to a cast illness. We traveled from the USA to see this on the Westend. I purchased premium seats in the first row of the dress circle. I can’t reschedule or exchange my tickets for another date because we will be leaving London now. I understand emergencies and illnesses happen but this is what an UNDERSTUDY is for! In cases of emergencies and illnesses, an understudy is suppose to serve as a backup to the main cast. Instead, we didn’t find out the entire show was canceled until 2 hours before the start of the play. That left us with no time to even pivot and make new plans. We cleared out an entire evening in anticipation of seeing this, skipped afternoon tea, rushed through shopping and rushed dinner to make sure we arrived timely for the play. Now not only am I out £300, I have to wait 2 to 3 weeks for a refund. Ridiculous!!!

Don’t waste your time with such a lousy theater company.

Mj musical is absolutely fantastic. All the cast are fab. What's upsetting and frustrating is the box office staff who you ring some of them have such bad attitudes they need to listen to hear to understand and be kind and helpful. Sometimes circumstances happen which are unforseen I just spoke to a Gary he didn't even LISTEN to what I had to say its so upsetting !!! The Director is very caring and understanding Paul I just dont understand why the some of the staff at box office can't be a little more understanding and listen more to help 😕

Really frustrating trying to buy a ticket for Oedipus at Wyndham's Theatre. The web page freezes after you've laboriously entered all your details. I tried to telephone, but there appears to be no one there, although, in theory, the line is open from 10am. To make it worse the recorded telephone message keeps telling me to use the (frozen) online booking system...........but Gary was extremely helpful when I got through and the system had recorded my online seat choices. Get more Garys!

I tried to book tickets for Oliver!
Got as far as the credit card authorisation screen, but can't enter my email address. The system has now completely locked out and I cant do anything on it.
Tried again through another device. Success (not the original seats - they are still allocated), but now I can't book anything else. We're back to the error screen.
There is a useless BOT chat system, no one answers via messenger, and the office is closed on a Sunday.
What an appalling lack of customer service.

We went to see MJ at the Prince Edward Theatre and were very pleasantly surprised to read via email the same afternoon that our tickets had been upgraded from Row Z to H. We had incredible seats and would just like to show our appreciation to the Delfont Mackintosh group. Thank you!! Sharon

We recently went to see MJ at prince edward theatre and I can honestly say the staff there are amazing with people with disabilities they went above and beyond, makes the whole experience worth while.
I cannot praise this theatre company enough!

Save yourself hours and go through an alternative booking site. Unfortunately, the website set-up seems to be causing issues. I have attempted on several occasions to book four tickets for Hamilton in August but have been blocked each time despite attempting a range of seats and payment methods. The booking process on their site clearly has major issues.

Useless site. They won’t allow you to book two seats out of three available because that would leave a solo seat! Do they ever wonder why they have three seats plastered all over the place. Trying to book but final page won’t go through even after waiting 15 minutes. Now it won’t let me back in as the payment is being processed. That was over an hour ago. The payment won’t go through as it won’t pass my double authentication. Classic example of work from home and let it go to pot I think.

I tried to buy a ticket for a show at a Delfont Mackintosh theatre and was informed I could not do so due to the colour of my skin. This is shameful. I did not realise racism was legal in UK.

Awful website. Trying to book tickets. Forcing me to register with del mac site. Registration doesn't work. Frustrating. Will have to use another third party site. Will now wait to closer to desired date and get last minute tickets cheaply. Quite unprofessional.

As a regular theatre goer in London I really like the Delfont Mackintosh Theatres. Staff are helpful, toilets are clean and in general the venues are in excellent condition. Unlike most theatres the bar prices at DM Theatres are very reasonable. Last Saturday at the Gielgud it was just £13 for 2 glasses of Malbec. Cheaper than most pubs.

Tried to book a single ticket at the Prince Edward Theatre for Dear England and was told that it would "isolate the seat next to me". I complained and the response was "Our online booking system does not permit booking tickets which leave a single seat as we want to ensure all of our patrons have the best opportunity to book every available seat." I do not think it's fair to penalise solo theatre goers.

Bought Hamilton tickets for £20 back in April and went yesterday, had to lean on rail to see properly but the view was good and the show was AMAZING

My husband is a wheelchair user and all of the staff especially the lady that saw us to our seats and checking we were ok was exceptionally helpful. They made our whole experience perfect . ( which can sometimes be challenging with my husbands needs )

The ticket agents are misleading. The theater staff such as Ms Laura, are extremely rude, especially at the Les Miserables show. Despite being ridiculously overpriced, many seats severely restricted view and poor acoustics at the less expensive seats (still 100 pounds for just one show).

When ticket prices are getting to the price of long haul airline tickets ,it’s about time comfort of its patrons is looked at.
I recently attended a performance of Mamma Mia and the enjoyment was spoiled by the very poor legroom and very uncomfortable seats ,it was actually embarrassing letting people pass you to get to they seats as too close for comfort.
And Sir Greedy needs to turn the heating up as was freezing in there and had to wear my coat for the whole show!

Beware when booking online with Thai theatre. I tried to book for Mary Poppins and I saw my card being processed and it failed so foolishly I tried to do it again and it failed.
I then bought tickets for the show using another theatre company , the Lon theatre company and received the tickets on my email with no issues.
Unbeknownst to me, delfont meanwhile had charged me $240 each time for the failed transaction and I had no idea or I would have checked my credit card.
I had not received any extra tickets or any confirmation so assumed all good until seeing those transactions. I wrote to customer service, someone by the name of Paul Baker wrote back to say they cannot help me as the show closed on 8th of Jan and so they cannot look into it, only before the show began but i had no idea transactions had gone through as I received no email saying so and then he proceeded to write I had purchased tickets which I never saw.
So besides being unhelpful I was scammed me out of $480 from pending transactions so BEWARE. I will never go that theatre ever again.

Extremely annoyed and upset by the way they treat you and not bother checking their site for purchase of tickets.

Tickets at 2/3 the price of other outlets - definitely recommend! I got £100 tickets for £60! I was sent my tickets instantaneously after purchase. The reviews that give a low rating seemingly had bad experience with the customer service and/or did not read the terms of conditions of their tickets correctly - a lot of outlets do not offer exchanges if it is too close to the performance date. I cannot comment on the customer service, but the goods and prices I can say are 5/5.

Edit: after attending the show, I can confirm that the Wyndham's Theatre is in excellent condition and beautiful. You get a perfect view from the royal circle.
