I recently purchased a Scott genius 900 tuned axs from Damian Harris cycles and I was overwhelmed with the service I received both from Mr Harris himself and his team.
I saw the bike at a fantastic price at DH cycles, it was almost 2 grand more at all the usual retailers which I looked at.
I highly recommend taking a look at their prices before buying elsewhere!
The service was impeccable, I called their 24hr service line and within 20 minutes I received a call back from Mr Harris himself who was only too happy to help me out, reserved the bike for me and gave me a specific reference number so I could deal with the team the next day on the phone.
I had an upcoming group ride coming up and the team bent over backwards to get the bike to me on time but due to COVID 19 I and how busy they already were, I wasn’t expecting the guys to be able to accommodate me.
But I was absolutely shocked to receive an email from Mr Harris to say his team had managed to build, wrap, pack and ship the bike just in time to ship it to me.
The bike was so impeccably boxed their was absolutely no worries about it being damaged in transit which is always a worry when getting something so expensive delivered.
I can not recommend Damian Harris cycles and the team enough for quality of service, attention to detail and their commitment to customer service.

As promised I thought I needed to back up my first positive review. The bike arrived just in time. It took a couple of days past the full 2 weeks as stated by the shop, but they left me in doubt as to the fact they were facing long delays so I cannot complain. I feel it was delivered as quickly as they could possible have done so.
The bike is in perfect condition

Explained that i was to purchase a bike through Cycle to Work and he did not want to know. Very rude whilst Also saying it would cost me 15% surcharge so £269.85. on a £1799 pedal mtb. Its usually between 2-10% depending on what type of bike. E Bike being the top %. He then also explained it would cost £80 for delivery. Shocking customer service. I am a sales person and if i treated my clients like this i would not have any customers left

Unfortunately there has been a lot of issues with every E-bike brand and a lot of my Customers have had at least 3 motors or other parts fitted within the first 6 months of ownership. Every E-bike manufacture are trying to design parts and bikes differently so these issues become less frequent. We have Customers waiting for over 5 months now for Shimano motors and they still have no stock. I am so sorry you have had to wait this long and have had problems with your bike. Your cable will be sent to you on special delivery as soon as it arrives.

Well what can I say - the £5k bike is still not operational - owned it for 9 months and it has been broken for 5 months - DHC have zero interest in resolving or compensating - DHC are ill equiped to service and maintain Ebikes, theyare pretty useless all round - they may be good at selling the bikes but dealing with customers when things go wrong is p**s poor.
I am engaing with my lawyers with a view to getting a full refund.

What can I say Damian Harris Cycles, they are very happy to take yourcash and help you out, until you have an issue and need to get a replacement. I paid £5k for a fantic Ebike in December, all was well with the bike even though they stated free delivery I still had to pay £120 to be delivered to Scotland. 1st week in April the motor blew on the bike, I know this as I tried everything to resolve without sending the bike back, no avail, bike went back, which I paid for, bang another £129 down the swaney... now here is where it gets interesting. DHC took 7 days to unpack the bike and then stated the charging cable was at fault, wrong, told them this but none the less they check it out and low and behold they now tell me the motor is at fault... What a surprise.!!!! Off to fantic for a warranty claim, as stated to DHC, I bought the bike from them and not fantic the therfore I expect DHC to warranty the bike and take up the claim with Fantic, Anyhow the bike has been out of action for 2 months, I no longer have the bike nor do I have my £5k, they pretty much refuse to take my calls, the info from them via email is just shocking, to summarise DHC couldn't give a monkyets about customers unless that is to take their money with false promises and not much else.
Edit - 05/06/20 - still no response from DHC - thieves
24/06/20 - Bike recieved back - it took 11 weeks to have it fixed - most of the summer gone

Damian and the team gave superb service throughout sourcing my beautiful Scott Scale RC900 WC. One of the first 2021 examples in the country, delivered ahead of schedule and professional service throughout. Would highly recommend.

I knew exactly which MTB I wanted to buy and so I bought the 2021 Scott Spark 910 model from their website. Within 2 weeks I received the MTB professionally boxed and wrapped, fully assembled and ready to hit the trails! I highly recommend their customer service and professionalism! And appreciative especially under the current tough and demanding conditions!

First things first, read what you will into the negative reviews but unfortunately in today's society of 'I want it all and I want it now' there seems to be little understanding of the fact that we're in the middle of a pandemic which has affected supply chains the world over.

I wanted a Frog bike for my nearly 3 year old, called into Damian Harris and subsequently found the perfect bike, a Frog 44 in red which are hard to come by. Damian and the guys in the shop were really friendly and helpful. This is my local bike shop and I'm so pleased to support an honest, local independent business and I'll be back again.

The entire cycle industry has been completely swamped by the COVID crisis so maybe people need to exercise some patience.

Found the owner rude and arrogant. He literally pointed to me and told me to get out of the shop as too many people were in there. There were 3 people in there. He was on his own so his little brain was probably fried. I was literally about to buy a £2K bike! By the looks of things I’m not the only one to experience this type of rude behaviour.

Just collected another bike from Damian Harris cycles I purchased several weeks ago for my youngest son. Great advice and help as always, nothing too much trouble. Thanks again, brilliant service 👍🏻

Ordered a bike through Damien Harris, was told the bike would take up to 2 weeks but after finally getting hold of them it ended up taking 5 weeks! They blamed it on being a busy spell. Then after 2 days of riding 2 parts on my bike broke which I’m aware is there fault, but when contacting them to arrange warranty they had no interest in helping and told me not to bother as they can’t do anything after I’d spend 4 thousand pound on my bike. I later contacted the manufacturer that told me if I get where I bought from to contact I could get them replaced but after speaking to Damien Harris again they still refuse to help. Terrible service, hard to get hold of do not recommend at all!

Purchased a bike in april .paid by bank transfer .after a lot of phone calls and emails requesting a receipt for proof of purchase in cause of warranty claim .I still not had reply or a receipt

Poor communication even before coronavirus pandemic. My bike needs a service and a new kick stand. Still waiting for an acknowledgement of multiple emails. Not the service I would hope to get from an independent bike shop.

Absolutely discusted by this company. They have robbed me if nearly £500 after numerous emails and phone call over the past 3 months In which the bike that I have payed for was meant to be delivered within 6 weeks. I am yet to get a response!! I will be seeking legal action.

They ignore my questions, don't even bother to reply. I was waiting for a month for my order. I don't know if they didn't have that product or something else was happening. I can't say because NO ONE wants to talk with me. Very unprofessional customer service. I bought a bike somewhere else.
