We replaced our faulty IKEA dishwasher through Dacombes and were impressed by their speedy and attentive service throughout. I initially enquired via email about which model would be the appropriate replacement to match the specifications of our kitchen and received excellent advice from Paul. I then completed the purchase electronically. Installation and removal of our old dishwasher happened on the day they said it was and the installers did a very efficient job, making adjustments for some of the non-standard features of our kitchen units. The price was fair in comparison with online retailers and very happy to support an independent local business.

We went into Daccombe’s because we’ve bought many things from that shop before, and have always been satisfied. This time we went for an electric hob and a television.
We were dealt with a very sensitively and were given all the information we needed to make the right purchase for us. I cannot fault their customer service it is excellent.

Ordering appliance on-line was easy and delivery was confirmed. Ben and Ed arrived on time and in spite of an issue with our existing decorative door front, quickly sorted it and completed the installation. Very clean and tidy work and friendly attitudes. From start to finish the service was great. From the sales finding the exact appliance we wanted on line, to delivery. Cannot fault anything, the appliance was delivered within the specified timeframe and the guys placed the appliance in the room we wanted it in. No hassle anywhere along the line. We ordered a new washing machine which, was delivered on time, as agreed with the shop.
The two delivery gentlemen were both courteous and efficient. They removed the old machine and installed the new one without any mess.
The new machine was tested and checked for any leaks and instruction of use given. All of the packaging was removed and taken away, along with our old machine, with them when they left. All in all a very good service.

I purchased a tumble dryer.
I was more concerned about delivery as I live in a 1st floor flat and no lift!
No problem.
My dryer was delivered, carried upstairs and into my airing cupboard by the 2 delivery drivers.
They unwrapped it, plugged it in and checked it all worked.

From placing our order in store with Ben and the actual delivery. The two guys telephoned in good time to let me know they were on their way. Professional delivery, installation of a fridge/freezer to my first floor flat with helpful and friendly service. Will order with this company again.

The first shop we visited was Dacombes of Wimborne, we immediately felt welcomed by the staff and without any pressure we received knowledgeable advice on the different machines available.
As such we decided to purchase straight away without going to other retailers, we had total confidence in Dacombes and that we purchased the right machine.
The delivery was arranged and today we received the new machine, the two men who carried out the installation again could not have been more helpful.
Having worked in the customer service sector all my working life I have to confess that I am very focused on service and it is therefore really refreshing to find a company that truly understands what makes the difference and delivers!!
