AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!! Poor service, damaged stained MOULDY boxes!!!!!! A complete scam!!!!
At first they were so responsive and quick to respond, when it was the PAYMENT stage but as soon as everything was paid I barely got any updates or any information. I was told it was a 7-10 day turnaround but I waited A MONTH AND A HALF just to receive any boxes. I ordered 500 boxes and received 80 after a month. After chasing them up, they made up loads of excuses as to why I hadn’t received the boxes yet ‘quality checking’ apparently… and then after another 2 weeks I received the other 420. At first, the print quality looked great, lovely colours and smooth feel, but then I started to fold the boxes and looked at the inside and they are COMPLETELY STAINED AND MOULDING. I’m not even exaggerating how disgusting it was. It had giant black circles of staining, smudging, some even had black fingerprints smeared all over them. There were 220 UNUSABLE BOXES. ABSOLUTELY SHOCKING. Some of them arrived literally RIPPED IN HALF??? Just awful! That’s almost half of all the ones I bought, and they weren’t cheap, at £2.20 per box!!!! I was appalled and emailed straight away for help after I counted up all of the faulty boxes. No response. I chased and chased, emailing, calling, anything I could. And guess what - the only email I received back after a week of chasing was: “You have been unsubscribed from Custom Boxes UK’s mailing list.” THEY BLOCKED ME AND REMOVED ME FROM THEIR CONTACTS! I simply wanted a refund or replacement boxes, for the terrible quality that they provided. I am absolutely furious and disappointed. Terrible service, they only want your money and there is absolutely zero quality control. They lied (about the boxes, excuses and the fact the boxes were made in the UK, they were made in Pakistan), rushed these boxes out and don’t care about the quality as long as they get the money and will block you as soon as you complain. If anyone is considering buying from here, please, please, please, DONT! Spend your money elsewhere and it will save you a lot of pain, frustration and disappointment!!! STAY AWAY!!!

In May 2024 took my order over 700£, now it is January 2025, sent me samples of poor quality . Eventually I asked for a refund and they are dragging their feet. Completely ignoring or making false promises. They are not a UK company so no one here can be held accountable for their actions. They are a group of fraudsters.

Don't be fooled by the .co.uk web address - they are based abroad in Pakistan. Their representatives use fake names like Stephen, Brian and Jenny but they speak with strong Asian accents.

I placed an order for 1,000 boxes and I started having problems as soon as I paid. I submitted my artwork to them and they told me they would send me the approval file ASAP.

I didn't mind waiting but they kept making false promises about when it would be ready. For example, they would say I'll have it to you later today - but then wouldn't send it. I would chase it up the next day, and they would say the same thing. Every time I called they kept fobbing me off saying they'll send it soon.

The second last time I called, they said they're going to send it as soon as I get off the phone. I waited an hour - still nothing. I called again after an hour and they said I should have received the file and that they'll "resend" it. I said I would wait on the phone. They had me on the phone for 20 minutes, sometimes on hold, sometimes asking if I received it. I'd remained polite and courteous through every phone call. But I realised they were actually *deliberately* having me on! Whoever was on the phone had no intention of sending me the file. I asked for a supervisor and he completely ignored me as if I hadn't spoken! I persisted and he just keep pretending I hadn't asked. Finally, I threatened to ask paypal for a refund and he just put the phone down on me!

I was going to apply for a refund but I finally received the approval file later that day. There were mistakes in the file - they edited my file and changed some details for some unknown reason - but I just did not have the strength to ask them to change it. I thought I would give them one last chance since they were half the price of everyone else.

A few weeks later my order arrived and I was horrified - but not surprised - to find they did an absolutely shoddy job - poor quality printing, flimsy boxes, and the boxes were damp and dirty. Worst of all, there were what appeared to be rat droppings inside the shipping box.

I had to pay over £1,500 to have my boxes reprinted by another UK based manufacturer and wasted weeks of my time.

I would avoid at all costs - pay double and keep your peace of mind.

If you do ignore my advice, when you call them, make sure you call from a private number. They save your name and number and start passing the phone to different representatives give you the run around.

I am profoundly disappointed with my experience. My order was delayed by several weeks with no explanation; they ignored my very polite emails requesting updates. More importantly, when it finally arrived, it was the wrong colour. After much back-and-forth communication, they offered to remake it, but nine weeks later, I am still waiting to receive the my order

Despite my repeated attempts to follow up via email, what I receive is multiple misleading (untrue) replies—the level of misinformation I've encountered is astonishing.

While I understand that things can go wrong, what truly makes a company stand out is how it manages these situations - trust, good communication, accountability, and a genuine apology if they are at fault. To date, I have not received any of these or the correct order. I requested a refund, but instead, I was offered a discount on future business—laughable, considering I haven't received a usable order yet!
Based on my experience, I would not recommend this company.

Great company to work with, excellent results every time

From start to finish nothing was too much trouble. David Walker gave advice and even supplied templates for my graphic designer to work too. This speeded up the process enormously . Quality is excellent and I have since placed another order for a new project. I would highly recommend Custom Boxes and I will continue to use them in the future.

Robin delivered the best costumer service experience we possibly can have. Problem solving, fast service, you name it. We are very happy so far. Thank you guys.

I needed to make some boxes with custom graphics for my products, I found this company online and I got a quote. We agreed the price, they designed the graphics and 2 weeks later my boxes arrived. Good service and communication. I am happy with the resaults.
