This is the customer you deceived.
Instead of a drum with harmonic tuning with 15 tones, 30 centimeters in diameter, you sold a completely different product.
I suggest you settle the dispute by returning me the full cost of the above drum, and if you want me to return the your item to you, pay me the postage and I will send it to you.
This is the best option for you in the first place and it is in your best interest to settle the dispute.
You can return the money to me via PayPal.
I do not intend to overpay a single cent more than what I have already paid.
If the dispute is not resolved on conditions that suit me, I intend to continue to file against you with complaints with all instances in accordance with international trade law.
I remind you that in addition to the fact that you fraudulently forced me to transfer you a disproportionate amount, which is much higher than the value of the goods received.
The product itself is missing:
1) SKU code
2) name of the product manufacturer
3) instructions with a list of accessories and what materials the product is made of
4) there is no certificate / marking on the environmental safety of the goods
These facts listed above are not in your favor, even if PayPal closes the dispute - you know, I will sue against you again.
I repeat - I do not intend to spend even a cent, including on sending the goods to you, because you have undermined my trust in you.
In this dispute, I am the victim.
The ball is in your hands.

I'm in the same situation as everyone in this forum.
I ordered a hang drum worth 70$ and I received a small replica worht 20$!! I asked for a refund and after some back and forth emails with their "customer service" I managed to be offered a 40% refund (at first they offered me only a 15%!!!)... and they say that if I want a full refund I need to send the item back and take care of the shipping costs!!! which is worth more that the actual replica they sent!! It is outrageous!!!
Now I see that their shop is unavailable, so I suppose that they have closed the cupami site only to open another scam shop under a diferent name...
DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW TO TAKE LEGAL ACTION ON THESE PEOPLE??

This company scammed me! I ordered 3 hanging drums and received cheap replicas not what I ordered ! This company never should have been allowed to market their lies on Facebook 🤬 I got ripped off royally.

This company is a scam. We ordered a much larger drum and paid $70 for it! What came was a much smaller drum, not the color we ordered, and only two little mallets. No other materials that were promised arrived in the package. I see now their website is AWOL. Go figure!

My girlfriend ordered a hang drum from Cupami on facebook. She got a child's knock-off toy replica of a bronze "wrong color" tongue drum 6" wide & 3/a half " height with two small cheap rubber mallets - nothing else. It was shipped from China and others are complaining about the same rip off scam. Their misleading people through false advertisement.

So sad! Item not the same as depicted and only a drum and sticks came. Can’t find gem on the website now. No songbooks or stickers. Really bummed out.

I wish I read the reviews also. Something here. Smaller drum,wrong color, can’t get the website up again,etc. $60 pretty much wasted. I even emailed them around Christmas to see where it was and ask if I could cancel.I’m really irritated.

Wish I would have seen these reviews before I got scammed, too! It is the classic bait and switch. I got a drum and sticks and nothing more - not the drum and accessories shown on their website. Back and forth with their customer service and finally I got a pdf of a manual. I repeatedly asked for all the items shown on the ad to be shipped. All I am told is this constitutes a reshipment. Never again for this company. And lessons learned - look for reviews before I order something.

All of these reviews are correct, cupami is a complete scam. There website is even gone now. Is there any way of fighting this and recouping my money if purchase was on a credit card and not paypal?

I believe this company is another scam company from China. This is the second time I've been caught out with thinking I'm buying from one place but instead it's from what looks like China. Basically you buy a product on their lovely website (healing drum in my case) and they send you a much cheaper, smaller, different style, different colour version. They then say if you want a refund you have to pay for the shipping charges back to them or instead have a 15% discount and keep the one they sent. I'm not going to risk spending money on sending it back to them as by this stage you know they're not a reputable company and you'll never probably get any money back (that's what happened to me before).

Same experience as other reviewers with the drum. Also, I ordered a Kalimba which arrived late and was ok sound wise but did not look like the picture. No reply to messages sent about tracking. Orders were supposed to arrive before Christmas and did not arrive despite paying for express shipping until today (Jan 12).

I experienced the same as everyone else! I paid extra for the larger drum and waited 8 weeks for a small drum that has multiple dead spots! Nothing close to the beautiful sound you hear on the Facebook ad! I sent the cupami company several messages to ask when I would get the drum (a Christmas gift for my grandson that came too late). Never got a reply! Even after I got the small drum and requested a refund or replacement for the drum I ordered! I cannot believe that Facebook and Instagram are allowing this ad to be promoted and rotated so heavily on their platforms! What a shame!

Total bait and switch. I’m angry with the company but I am even angrier with Facebook and Instagram for allowing this ad to be promoted and rotated so heavily on their platforms. Never ordering anything from Facebook/Instagram again. 3rd time I have ordered something off of the site and it’s never what it appears. Finally learned my lesson!

We just got our package and have had the same experience. I paid $70 plus shipping for a much bigger instrument. Small (the tiny one) black and no banding as well. Scam company.

I can't believe what happened to us was the same exact thing that happened to a reviewer on the same exact day. We, too, ordered a month ago to only have it arrive today Jan 11 2020, it was black we ordered blue and not as pictured, much smaller. I wish we had read the reviews before hand. I tried to go on the site and was shut down. I will try to get my money back but am not hopeful. Buyer beware, the reviews are true.

If it were an option, I would give them no stars. This experience was beyond ridiculous! We ordered in October for a Christmas gift and it arrived today - January 11, 2021! My numerous complaints did nothing to expedite delivery. We did not receive the unit we paid extra for - it is much smaller than anticipate and is black instead of blue. Where is the lovely rope banding we paid extra for? I write this hoping to spare another person the disappointment and frustration of ordering from CUPAMI. Do. Not. Trust. This. Company. I'm not sure why they are able to continue in business.

Caught up in this scam. False advertising, warehouses in all different countries is not true

I received the cheapest version when I paid for the upgraded versions with all the free extras and was so disappointed when my sons opened their Christmas gifts.
when I emailed them they said it is against policy to send me the correct items

Comme tous les autres j'ai reçu un produit bien différent de celui commandé. Entre le bel instrument promis (à un prix élevé mais cohérent avec le design) et le gadget jetable et incomplet reçu...

J'ai contacté le service client qui m'a proposé un remboursement de 15%... alors que le produit n'est ni le bon ni complet je ne peux même pas l'utiliser...

Fuyez, ne vous faites pas arnaquer par ces voleurs !

I am so sorry I did not find this review site before I ordered two drums from this company. I will come back to let you know how this resolves, but here is what happened, and it echos other reviews here:
I ordered two drums from Cupami. I ordered and paid extra for "better tone" drums that also have a woven band around them. We were looking forward to them.
after about 6 weeks, two ugly blue drums of the cheaper type arrived. in three successive email exchanges with the company, they offered us a 15%, and then a 25% refund, but they would not send us the drums we ordered, and would not pay for return of the drums they sent us. I have insisted on full refund or for them to send what we ordered, and have told them we can return these drums if they send us a prepaid shipping label.
I am still waiting.
Oh yeah, and BTW, cupami.com is not a thing.
