Misleading Ad – Crab Toy Turns Out to Be Just a Charger
I was browsing Google ads looking to buy a crab toy, and most prices ranged between £10 and £20. Then I came across an ad that looked legit, so I clicked on it. However, once I was on the site, I realized they were only selling a charging cable. The product title even changes to “Crawly Crab™ Charger.”
They advertise a 30-day refund policy, but they deliberately shipped the product after 30 days, making it difficult to request a refund. This seems quite deceptive. Also, the Google ad shows a price of £10, but once you click, it turns out you’re only buying a charger—not the toy itself. Be careful, this feels like a scam.
