Appalling customer service from their management team! Gift cards are falsely advertised with incorrect expiry dates, they shouldn’t be allowed to get away with it. If you purchase online they claim you get 1 year 30 days to use them, but they don’t honour this. They expire much sooner as hidden in their T&Cs. Avoid!! My emails were met with an arrogant response from Pasar their Reservations Manager Management team who it seems couldn’t care less about customers, or about acting in line with their sales claim. Thankfully I have managed to get a full refund and compensation back via my banks credit card. Seems others here have had the same experience.

Copa Club Guildford - great venue and service - disappointing food.

We had a family gathering at the Guildford venue. Although the venue was fun and vibrant and the service was lovely and professional, the quality of the coffee was awful and some of the food was poor and inedible.
Such a shame given the effort the family had put in to rendezvous after Christmas.

Just returned from lunch at the coppa club Sonning. We were greeted (or not) by a miserable looking lady that looked at us like we were a hinderance to her. And was pointed over to a table. We eventually ordered food which then took 40 minutes to arrive, bearing in mind when we ordered we were pretty much one of the only tables in there. When the food did come, one of the plates were cold and had to be returned and a burger was not cooked. We had to go to the bar to order drinks as no one was asking for a drinks order. Really disappointing. And judging by other reviews on here not a one off. You need to employ staff that might want to raise a smile especially the one that was there at 12 o’clock today to greet us, maybe she hasn’t had a good Christmas.

£100 per person on Xmas day dinner (rip off).

Bread (no butter ), olives and cheese fingers.

1 carrot, 2 pre baked potatoes (white undercooked ) NO yorkshire puddings, 4 slices of turkey , 1 anaemic parsnip.
Followed by (cold) brownie & scoop of ice cream.

Very disappointed with the food and the amount we got.
Service was brilliant though 👏
Based off of previous reviews, I would say our portions were alot smaller than someone who bought the same meal for £33.
My advise would be to include Yorkshire puddings, and cook the parsnips and potatoes longer so there not white and under cooked ( tasted like they were pre cooked and warmed up ).
Maybe for the price include more for your money.

Should have read the reviews but had heard good things and wanted to try the igloos so we gave it a go for our family Christmas meal! Such a shame and waste of money as it was a poor experience.
Table/igloo wasn’t ready when we arrived despite the place being empty. Directed to the sofa to wait, as there were 5 of us and the sofa was for 2 people we sat at the table next to it which was full of empty glasses, no one came to clear them or ask us if we would like to order drinks.
We were the only people on the roof top and in the igloos, perhaps a chilly Sunday night was not the night to go 🤷‍♀️
Igloo was cold and we had to sit in our coats.
We weren’t offered any water for the table and felt rushed into ordering.
Food was ok, probably low grade pub grub standard and not hot and expensive for what it was. We had used our cutlery for the starters and when the mains came the waitress said they would bring more
Cutlery but after 10 minutes it still hadn’t arrived so we had to take it from the next door igloo. Food was completely cold by then. The cutlery never arrived!
Didn’t ask if we wanted any condiments. Didn’t check back on how everything was.
Didn’t ask if we wanted more drinks.
The main restaurant was really quiet so no excuse for average service, waitress was friendly but because we were the only ones on the roof outside it felt like we were an inconvenience.
No atmosphere at all.
We made the best of it but won’t return and definitely won’t recommend. Such a shame as it was an expensive night for us.
It does make me wonder how such a big restaurant/chain can survive without making changes, there’s a lot of good competition out there and with such consistently bad reviews I can’t see how the management can afford not to act.

Coppa Club Brighton, staff friendly and helpful, service not brilliant but food really poor, had salmon and bruschetta as starter and needed a chainsaw to cut through it, tortellini as main and not that warm with pasta under cooked, definitely needs to step up before I would return!

I am having a nightmare trying to organise and place a pre-order for a family get-together at Coppa Club, Cobham. I have resorted to this post out of desperation in the hope that someone might actually reply to me. They make it impossible for you to contact head office or make any kind of complaint direct. Last month I contacted Coppa Club to make a large booking. I got a response from the "Various Eateries" reservation team, which I've since realised is an outsourced offsite team. After extensive back and forth with that team to finalise my pre-order, I still kept receiving Coppa Club email prompts to place my pre-order. I initially ignored the emails in the knowledge that I had already placed my pre-order, assuming that it was just being sent in error. But then I opened one and was shocked to find that the food that had been pre-ordered was completely incorrect. I had pre-ordered a nibbles sharing menu, and the information in the online platform said I had ordered 3-course festive menus for my guests. I then phoned up, expecting to get through to the restaurant, but yet again it was the "Various Eateries" team. I spoke to someone on the phone who updated the pre-order on the system for me. Still not convinced by their competence, I found an email address for the actual restaurant on a Trip Advisor review. I contacted the restaurant and initially received a response the following day from someone called Hannah, who told me only the kids food was showing on the pre-order and the adults food STILL wasn't showing. I responded to say that I've already pre-ordered everyone's food and said I would send it through directly to her but I wanted to ask a question to check something first. No one has got back to me since, despite me following up a further three times. In the initial email Hannah had told me that you can't even call up the restaurant, you can only provide your number for them to call you – which I have done but I haven't received a call either. I'm at my wits end with it. It should have been so straightforward and I actually thought I was being helpful by providing my pre-order over a month ahead of time, but now the booking is creeping closer and I'm worried they still don't have it. My family were so excited that I'd found somewhere that seemed to suit us so well, and I really don't want to let them down. It's just terrible customer service.

No welcome to our table,no offer of drink (forced to order at the bar)had to wait ages for food despite a pre booking and food mediocre.To put in context restaurant not busy at time of visit so not entirely sure what the issue was.would not eat dinner here again.
The manager did his best to rectify the situation which we appreciated however the damage had been done.A front of house would be helpful to welcome people to their tables and move service along.
Coppa club you seriously need to up your game!!

Went there for our work's xmas meal. It took over an hour for us to be asked if we'd like any drinks etc. And that was only because we sought out to find a membeer of front of house. The starters arrived nearly one and half hours after we had sat down. The food was average at best and the portion sizes incredibly disappointing, and there were items missing. Overall an incredibly poor and experience and I will not be going back. The positives. The steak was very well cooked and the manager offered a generous discount as a result of our complaints.

Decidedly average, over priced and had to wait ages. Then, the icing on the cake - a parking fine for £100. Apparently they used to have a welcome desk and ipad to sign the car in but this was not the case on the day we visited. Check the reviews on trip advisor too, they reflect the above.

Visited with teens for half term treat but were very disappointed. Been to much better Coppa restaurants previously. Steaks were inedible and asked by waiter what we wanted. It’s such a silly question because a customer wants edible food and even if it’s replaced, you’re then not all eating together. 2 of us didn’t eat the food. My friend was not happy that when the bill came the inedible dishes were on there. Waiter was very disgruntled and then openly talked about the matter with manager. The two teens were very embarrassed and I was really unhappy. Waiter flapped his hands at me and stormed off. I can’t believe we were treated like this in front of children and with a lunch bill of over £200! Dishes were removed from bill but I was left with 2 unhappy teens and a disappointed me (this was not a treat!
The service nor food were good enough for the prices charged. Will never visit this group of restaurants again.

Where do I start!! How can a big brand have no burgers or steak in a midweek night with an almost empty restaurant. Just visited the Coppa Club Maidenhead - never again. The food choice was so minutes and when it came - yuk! One meal had to be sent back and the fish cakes were revolting. The sweet prison dish came with 4 small slices and the tiniest amount of feta on top. The drinks were the only good bit and they took ages to arrive. The waitress was lovely. When our bill arrived they had taken off the service charge so knew they provided a shit meal but they should have taken the food off the bill as the waitress deserved a tip but didn't get one . The manger didn't apologise which really bothered us, sadly I won't be going back to any of the Coppa Clubs which is a shame as our local one in Streatley is usually good. Can't see how they can keep going!!

Disappointing visit. Food was very average at best. Bar tables dirty and poor bar service despite not being busy. Barman seemed distinctly uninterested. The meal felt extremely rushed with main course brought out before starter cleared. Wouldn't recommend or return.

Shame there is no option for “zero”.

I had a really disappointing experience at Coppa Restaurant and Bar. After waiting far too long for our drinks, I asked the waiter about the delay. His response? He shrugged his shoulders.. saying “we are busy” with no regards to our long waiting time ..which came off as rude and dismissive. Hoping to resolve the issue, I spoke to the manager, but instead of addressing the problem, he brushed it off, claiming it was a ‘language barrier.’ This felt like an excuse rather than an attempt to make things right. Overall, I expected much better service and left feeling very disappointed.

1 Star but they're not entitled to that tbh.
Wife and I were gifted a £50 Coppa club gift card xmas 2022. Tried to use recently as we just brought our first house and thought we would celebrate here but found the gift card is empty. After 12 months they erase all credit. Apparently it is in their ts&cs which the purchaser agreed to, not us I might add as it was a gift!
Absolutely no movent from the company who have flatly refused to action their "At their discretion" policy and have said NO!

PLEASE DON'T GO HERE!!!!
I just stopped to pick up my Daughter who was a resident and got a £60 parking fine!!No clear signing, I never got out of my car. No ability to complain to the parking company and the Hotel just ignored my emails and would not deal with my calls. Disgusting!!!!

Coppa Club in Cobham was our choice last night and what a HUGE disappointment!! My wife’s fish was overdone and dry. The tartare sauce and chips that use to come in separate pots were slapped on the plate. I ordered a César salad with added £5 protein chicken….what a joke! Three tiny pieces of chicken each the size of a teaspoon. The croutons should have been thrown by the chef…they were totally inedible as they were completely stale. No crunch….just chewing one for a minute and gave up! What on earth is going on with this place! I paid £17 for my salad and my wife’s fish was £19…all a complete waste of money. And we ended up eating snacks when we went home as we were still hungry!

3 of us visited for breakfast. Service incredibly slow. Had to keep asking the waitress for drinks and menus etc. All had the skillet breakfast and it had to be the worst breakfast we have ever had. Baked beans dry and stuck to skillet. 2 of us were missing mushrooms and none of us had any bacon. Eggs burnt to a crisp! It was really terrible! Did email with feedback and didn’t even get a reply!

I finally got around to writing a review after visiting Coppa Club in Brighton several times and it is interesting to hear of similar experiences elsewhere. In summary the service is awful and the food dreadful.
For those objecting to the service charge (and I also think it is a liberty to add it automatically but it is done a lot in Brighton) you can ask to pay without it. I finally did this on my last visit and it was done without question despite needing a manager.
I go with a group (otherwise I wouldn't bother) and every time the service is dreadful. Sometime we get water and asked for drinks immediately but usually we don't. This last visit too quite a while for water to arrive and my latte was also quite delayed. I wasn't asked if I wanted food, yet someone who arrived after I did managed to order and have his food delivered before I was asked.
I queried the service before ordering the food and met with a response similar to others have received - "not enough staff". However it seemed to me that all the staff were focused on the outdoor area and ignoring those of us indoors.
I have regularly odered the skillet breakfast which, while nothing to write home about, was edible. Unfortunately, last time I ordered the avocado toast with bacon. The first version arrived cold and was sent back. The second version was warm, but dried up. Also, although the menu said British bacon, it was the size and taste of American bacon.
So my advice based on experience is to avoid Coppa Club Brighton and my opinion based on other reviews is to ignore them completely.
If you do go and service is not up to standard, ask to pay without the service charge.
