I got my self in a right state but when I spoke to abacus they got the ball rolling and I got a lovely lady that was so patient with me and spoke through email as was easier for me with two kids.. She is brilliant and responds back very fast I would recommend it to anyone big help and a lot less stressful for your self

I completed my 5 years worth of payments in March 2015 however I am into my 6th year now still waiting for all the PPI to be collected , my case officer has been fine over the years , I just find the end process really slow and I cannot believe it takes another 6 months just to collect PPI , I don't even care about the £500 that I am meant to be getting I just want my certificate , feeling frustrated but overall the company has helped me sort my debts out.

Everyone I spoke to at Cleardebt gave us as much support as they could during, what was, a very difficult period. Everything was explained clearly and we were helped and advised through every step. The level of empathy that the staff displayed was very welcome and certainly helped us through the procedure. It's also very reassuring to know that there's someone there to offer support if we need them.

I have been with Cleardebt for nearly 5 years since a previous Company that I was with went out of business and I lost a great deal of money. My IVA is due to end May 2016 and today I received an email from a Company called Aperture in Belfast telling me that they have taken over my IVA from Cleardebt. As I had not received any communication from Cleardebt I telephoned them and they confirmed that the email was true, and Aperture had taken over the IVA.
I have made enquiries about Aperture and found that their CEO Gareth Neill has had a disciplinary order imposed due to complaints from debtors, and this worries me greatly.
I have always had an excellent service from Cleardebt, but I cannot say the same about the Company that they were associated with as far as PPI claims were concerned. They lost all my paperwork and I lost count of the number of times that I had to sign the same forms.
I would recommend Cleardebt but not the way that they have transferred my IVA to Aperture. I guess I just have to start worrying again. I just wish that I could stay with Cleardebt but it appears that I cannot. I will see what happens in May and post another review.

Like many people i allowed my finances to spiral out of debt when life got in the way. I was very upset and distressed when i made initial contact with Cleardebt, i couldnt see a way forward. But im glad i did make that call, its early days yet, but i have been guided through the process of getting my finances in order with empathy , understanding, respect and lots of genuine support from Cleardebt staff who have kept me informed every step of the way. Im glad i made that call

Please I beg people out there do not use this firm. In year 3 of my IVA I became concerned as to how my money was being distributed to creditors. I questioned Cleardebt and they stated that it would all look better towards the end. We struggled to pay in year 4 due to a job loss but we were not assisted and I found it difficult to deal with ever-changing account managers who said different things. In year 5 we took the decision to let the IVA fail as the biggest creditor never had anything paid off and I am now dealing with them direct. Cleardebt using another firm have credited nearly £10,000 from PPI. This money has not been accounted for. I have contacted Cleardebt 3 times in the last month to be fobbed off and when I asked for copies of all transactions they will only send me basic spreadsheet although I can see they have taken £8,000 for fees but currently there is no accounting for where the PPI money has gone. I am drawing a blank on the phone. I am now in process of building a full complaint to take forward to Ombudsmen. I feel utterly demoralised and let down and don't know where to turn. I just wanted this information out there, I thought my only option was an IVA but this company has gained from my stupidity and earned a lot more than my creditors have ever received. Please bypass this company and either deal with local firms face to face or make offers to your creditors who I have found helpful as currently you can't get past the young call takers in this firm who are not helpful and have refused to pass my concerns on!!!!!

My IVA finished in December 2015, I received a telephone call in December to remind me that I had missed one payment during the 5 year period, I payed it there and then over the phone and I received my completion certificate within 14 days of the payment. I had an email from them in November telling me they were holding £500 for me from some PPI they recovered on my behalf this was payed to me without any hassle. I would advise you to sign any requests they ask of you because finally it will speed up you getting your completion certificate. GOOD LUCK!

Heartily recommend ClearDebt. I have just finished my 5 year IVA, throughout this time I have dealt with several of the companies staff. All have been polite ,friendly and professional. When they have said they will do something they have done it. When I needed advice I always felt that they had my interests at heart. Anybody unfortunate enough to be in the same situation as I was 5 years ago should not hesitate to use ClearDebt.

I encourage people who are looking for debt consolidation management, tried Clear Debt. I was struggling to get my debts managed. Yes I tried my best to see how I can get things done, but it was hard for me. I was recommended to Clear Debt. It was a struggle with me to accept. they exercise patients with me, encouraged me all the step of the way until I finally got out of the struggle with letters comming through my door. Now I am paying my debt with ease and can save something.

I was in so much debt and was struggling to put food on the table for my children. I called Cleardebt and they were so lovely, I dealt with a guy called Mackenzie Moore and he was so helpful and non judgemental, i felt so much better straight away. He wiped alot of my debt off and cut my debt outgoings massively! I would recommend this company to anyone that needs help.

I've been very impressed with this company. They charge less than the one I was previously with and were very thorough, and helpful. They really thought of everything and dealt with everything quickly and efficiently.

ClearDebt took all the stress and worry away! My IVA went through within 5/6 weeks of initial decision. My only gripe is that I rarely got through on the phone first time due to them being so busy helping other customers, so I used email instead.
But cannot fault the service I received, I am now in my first year of IVA and it feels so nice to know my creditors cannot harass me for more money as im making the payments i can afford!
10/10 !!!
