The purchase process with Citygate High Wycombe was initially incredibly smooth, and I left glowing feedback because I genuinely had a very positive experience. Unfortunately, the after-sales service has completely changed my opinion and I really regret not reading Google reviews beforehand!

I have now been waiting two weeks for my £500 deposit refund and V5. I have emailed Sham and Lewis four times regarding this and have received no meaningful response and, most importantly, still have not received my money.

My car (which I part exchanged) has also been sold back to Citygate, yet my finance has not been settled, which is extremely concerning.

What is particularly disappointing is the complete lack of communication. I should not have to repeatedly chase a dealership for a £500 refund and a V5 that is owed to me, especially after being so positive about the company initially.

It genuinely feels as though once the sale was completed, I was no longer considered important enough to receive the same level of service.

I am now left with no choice but to escalate this matter and will be taking the issue to the Motor Ombudsman if it is not resolved promptly.

It is such a shame because the original experience was excellent. I was more than happy to recommend this garage and even left glowing feedback, but the way this has been handled afterwards has completely undermined that experience.

Citygate High Wycombe: please refund my £500, settle the outstanding finance and respond to my emails.

I was looked after by Hugh at Citygate Watford. He was really helpful in explaining advisories flagged up on my Polo and I took on board his recommendations about when I need to get the work done.

The gentleman who looked after me went through thoroughly, all the details about the service on my car. He gave 110% customer service, he was patient and showed impeccable social skills.

Great staffs. Very friendly staffs with everyone. I was waiting with my baby, all the staffs made us very comfortable. And my baby girl also got a gift from Ms.Claire. And the receptionist is very helpful and looking after us well. It’s lovely experience. And the car servicing very clear in the video. I had the service plan, so I didn’t have to pay for anything. Fast service

I always feel I'm a special customer. Clare, the Service Manager, is particularly helpful. I managed to get my VW Up Gti into the Ruislip Service centre at 5.30pm on the 1st October having had to get public help to jump start it, since the RAC were completely useless in turning up after many hours of waiting. Clare sorted out everything meaning a new battery and some other issues.

My family and I were well looked after by Nico and Roshni!!
Roshni talked through different car options with us and gave us lots of information. She answered our questions and queries promptly. She was friendly, polite and looked after us during our meetings. Both Nico and Roshni had fab customer service. I felt like a valued customer and will gladly recommend them to friends and family.

Always a great service. Wayne was very supportive with the questions I had and made the full process easy. Dropping my car off and picking it up was quick and simple. I always appreciate the complementary car wash and vacuum as well!

Hugh explained everyting that had been done,also made some very helpful suggestions so very happy with the service .Oh and plenty of free coffee while you wait!
