Hi,
Thanks for the review! Just to clear things up – you did get the right crisps. The flavour is officially Ham & Colman's Mustard – that’s the full title straight from Real Crisps themselves. Colman’s is English mustard… just the fancy branded kind your nan might save for Sundays.
No swap, no trick – just crisps doing exactly what it says on the bag!
If you’ve got any other questions or mustard mysteries, we’re all ears.
Cheers,

Hi,
Thanks for your feedback – always appreciated.
Just to clarify, these crisps are made with a 12-week shelf life, so getting 4–8 weeks left when buying online is perfectly normal. The ones you received had around 4 weeks left, which is still well within standard for fresh stock.
Also worth noting – “best before” doesn’t mean “bad after.” It’s about quality, not safety. Crisps don’t go off at the stroke of midnight! They’re often good for weeks (sometimes months) beyond that date.
If you’d like to see what the experts say, the Food Standards Agency has a handy explanation here:
We always flag anything genuinely short-dated on the site or reduce the price. But rest assured, nothing out of the ordinary here – just a box of good crisps with a clear conscience!

The best I have tasted since Smiths got taken over by
Walkers - not everything in life is progress - who rather
dim-wittedly and obtusely dropped Smiths Bovril flavour crisps upon taking ownership of the company.
