Good personal service, good communication, good advice given. Watch (old Oris) running better than it has done for a long time. Took a little while but no longer than they said it would. Recommend.

Terrible. Fixed my watch three times and never solved it and then lost the watch in the post. Still haven’t compensated. Terrible customer service and all round disregard of providing any decency. Avoid.
After some minor searching and contacting Oris.ch I found Chrontime. Chrontime are the official Oris watch service and restoration centre in the UK. I sent in my old and battered Oris (80s model) Pointer Date for a full service, and received what can only be called a new watch about 12 weeks later. And, yes, it was my old watch looking like new, made to look that way by a meticulous horologist, calibrated to keep time like a COSC chronometer. At the moment this is a staggering +2 seconds per diem! The service cost was on the higher side on a par with other Swiss big/bigger watchmakers. This was well worth it. Many thanks.
I bought a brand new Junghans watch from First Class Watch, and after wearing it only three times, I noticed a issues with misaligned hands. Since I was just one day past the return window, First Class Watch said they could only send it to a certified service center. They forwarded the watch to ChronTime, and let me be clear—it was in perfect condition, worn just three times, with the case back still covered by a protective film. When the watch was returned from ChronTime, both the dial and case back were severely damaged, and the leather strap was also affected. They somehow managed to scratch the dial in four places and left strange circular marks on the case back "it looked like they tried to unscrew the case back even though it doesn't unscrew clearly inexperienced service center". If you want your watch ruined, send it here—otherwise, I’d recommend finding a more reputable service center.
