Take your money and then cannot get hold of them to fix my windscreen! Absolute scammers!!! A huge let down! AVOID!!!

Awful company! AVOID!!! Paid deposit for absolutely nothing. Have now been blocked on Facebook due to them not wanted people seeing what they really are! Have videos of how rude the so called director is. Taken deposit refused to come out or refund. Constant excuses why they hadnt come out over the space of a week! Reported to trading standards and police! Cow boys DO NOT FALL FOR THERE SCAM!!

LETDOWNS! Did not show up when they were supposed to, after contacting them to see whether they would be bothering to show up they were rude and hung up the phone!! Not to mention the fact a deposit WAS paid for this work!! I will NOT use again, and certainly will NOT recommend to others, LETDOWN AHOY! RIPOFF AHOY! Definitely not “Reliable Ahoy” DO NOT USE.

I am absolutely disgusted with the way I’ve been treated, paid a deposit in good faith for a replacement window, expecting a professional service. Instead it was a complete nightmare. They’ve arranged multiple dates to come and do the job — and every single time, they’ve failed to show up. No courtesy call, no apology, no explanation. Just silence.

Each time ive rearranged my schedule, took time off work, and waited around for someone who never bothered to turn up. It’s not just inconvenient — it’s downright disrespectful. They’ve wasted my time over and over again, and I’m still left with no window and no idea if they’ll ever actually do the job I paid for.

This isn’t just poor service — it’s a total lack of professionalism and basic decency. Taking someone’s money and then ghosting them is unacceptable. Tried to be patient, but enough is enough. wouldn’t trust this company to install a cat flap, let alone a window.

If you’re thinking of using them — DON’T. Save yourself the stress, the wasted time, and the money. There are plenty of reliable tradespeople out there who actually respect their customers. This lot clearly don’t

Chips Ahoy take your £80 deposit. Give several dates when they will arrive to complete the work and will be a no show every single time!!

When calling reception to request deposit money returned for not receiving services, then get accused of making threats and get hung up on constantly.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS 🚨

DO NOT USE! Awful experience, outraged that a company can be advertising and accepting jobs with a deposit with no intention of completing work!! I was given a swift response and timely action of repairing my windscreen before I paid the deposit, as soon as the deposit was paid and the appointment time was a no show, after calling to ask what was happening and stated a delay with the windscreen, this can happen will arrive in a few days… it’s been consistent fob offs and hanging up the phone, and rude PAS.. probably sat on the sofa eating biscuits with the £80 deposit! no shows!! And still an unrepaired window screen.

Did not deliver the rear window ordered! Was told would come the next day and didnt. Keep rescheduling and wont give my deposit back despite not doing what they said they would do. Absolute Joke! AVOID!!!

The team were so friendly and helpful. Jason our technician went above and beyond to make the process smooth and painless in what was an odd situation to deal with (vandalism) so we really appreciate the extra lengths he went to for us!

Very efficient service from start to finish. Mark the fitter.arrived within the time frame was very courteous and efficient. Within no time the work was completed, giving my husband the advice not to drive for at least 30mins. From the 1st phone call to the work being completed all staff were very competent. A good price for a job well done, will recommend to friends.

Great service from chips ahoy, saved my hundreds on other quotes and service completed next day by the technician who completed it with 45 mins and even cleaned up everything after. Would definitely recommend and will be coming back if I ever need another repair or replacement.

Put a quote in online and within 5 minutes Anthony called to go over my requirement's, he advised a fitter would be able to attended the next day, Tom Howard (fitter) was polite, chill and extremely quick with the procedure, he was also able to come and do the replacement at my work which made the process so much more convinant, everyone from the team are super polite, would deffinetly recommend to any of my friends and family.
