FRAUDSTERS ! DO NOT BUY ,after ordering online they reply back saying product is 'OUT OF STOCK ' and they'll refund the money but NEVER REFUND even after numerous phone calls and messages.

DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE, THEY LIE AND TELL YOU WHEN A ORDER IS ARRIVING BUT IT TAKES LIKE A MONTH AND I STILL DID NOT RECEIVE IT!!!!!

A huge fraudulent company who would take your payments and will never deliver the product. I ordered an expensive Sarees that I never got delivered. They said it was out of stock and gave me a code to supposedly reimburse the amount. The code never worked and they never replied to my messages or calls! I am surprised they are still existing. Worst online shopping experience ever!

My order was shipped to the wrong address - I got all these emails from the delivery company with another persons name and address in another state, and when I emailed Chennai Store they said my order had been mistakenly delivered to another person and they were 'resending it'. When I queried whether that meant they were sending it again, they said yes and gave apologies but said 'It's not like we do it often' - a terrible way to speak to a customer! Anyway, it's been 10 days and they have stopped replying to my emails - I don't have a tracking number and my request for them to at least refund the delivery fee remains unanswered...

Hi, as I mentioned in title, Chennaistore was one of the most trustworthy company for online shopping, here i would like to share my shopping experience with them initially i was not aware of them but one of my friends suggest to shop with that notice I make an order of three products like lehenga, salwar & gown (71649) among those I ask for stitching on both lehenga & salwar, Chennaistore's customer support assured with what measurements & style I need along with delivery & payment process, Finally I received the product now which was unbelievable, As per their assurance they deliver the products with best quality & designs, perfect stitching too.

Thank you for your help it was very much appreciated. For you reference and your manager just a quick note, Chennai has always been good to deal with and purchases I have made in the past have been very good and your communication is very good unlike other companies who I have had very bad experiences in the past that's why I only use your company again and again. I have seen latest collections on Chennaistore.com. It has rich work and satisfied my parents, to reduced their outdoor shopping. I just received my bridal saree and the custom stitched blouse. It was stunning! I am so happy with the order and the blouse fits perfectly.

The saree looks exactly the same as shown on the website I would recommend Chennaistore.com to everyone I know! I was informed by courier company about the delivery a day before and everything reached without any problems. I look forward to ordering more and more!

I ordered two Salwaar Kameez with floor length skirts.

The order wasn't shipped on time (5 days later than the predicted 10). There was no communication from the company about the lateness, I had to chase them with emails several times. It was a good thing I had a few extra weeks leeway in time before the event.

I am a tall girl (5 foot 11inches/178cm), there was no warning on the page with one of the dresses I ordered that there was a fabric length restriction, nor was there any warning as I gave my measurements, nor did the staff contact me to inform me they were having a problem with the measurements, it was only mentioned incidentally the day before it was shipped after I contacted them about the late dispatch "oh by the way we dont do the material that long so it's 20cm shorter than you ordered"...AWFUL to hear if you have ordered an ankle length dress for modesty reasons! When it came it was actually less than that, maybe 10cm too short so I was able to make do.
The other measurement they got wrong was the sleeve length, so although I gave my arm length measurements and measurements of the circumference of the wrist and elbow there apparently was only a "standard length" sleeve (which was mentioned nowhere on the web page or when I gave the measurements nor in ANY correspondence). As a consequence the sleeves only reached my upper forearm, so the measurement that should have been at the wrist (the narrowest part of the arm) was actually situated at the widest part of the arm...so the sleeve didnt fit! I have had to pay for the sleeves of both dresses to be widened. If the dressmakers noticed I had given arm measurements much longer than the "standard length" surely common sense would realise that a narrow wrist measurement wont fit your middle arm? They could have contacted me easily enough to tell me about this and ask for measurements that would fit.
No email or complaint has been answered since I received the dresses. I don't think their standard of english is very good, possibly they didn't understand.

The dresses, if they had fit and been delivered on time were beautiful, and the stitching seemed good. Presumably if you are of medium height and dont mind a wait this site offers good value...

I placed an order in November 2014, the customer service was great respond quick to all queries, tracking code provided good delivery on time. But i was upset with the poor quality and model so different to the photo. Stitches was rough, not neat it looked so cheap. it is not a good value for the money. Don't recommend shopping shopping on this site. if you really expect something nice for what you paying for. I sent photo of the product to customer service and were not helping at all except by finding excuses that it has to be like that etc.

I purchased a dress worth Rs. 7311 from Chennaistore.com and they delivered it in about a month. The dress was advertised to be pure 100% chiffon. When the dress arrived, it was a synthetic material . I called up and emailed the customer care of Chennai Store. They claimed it was pure 100% chiffon, I was able to debunk this claim by showing the material to well known cloth merchants and retailers in T.Nagar and Pursaiwalkam in Chennai. When I spoke to customer care again they claimed they cant help me and suggested I speak to the bank through which the transaction was made. They asked me to claim online fraud from the bank.

One more thing I noted is, after I had claimed that the product is not pure chiffon, they immediately took down the product, which is quite suspicious.

The claim made by Chennaistore is that the product is custom made and they cant resale it to anyone.

If it is difficult for them to resale the product, they should be truthful in how they describe the product on the website. Trying to fraud customers this way is unacceptable. I think the reason why they have been able to get away with this is they supply mostly to customers abroad. Either the customers abroad don't have means to check authenticity of the cloth or they are unaware of what is being able to sold to them.

Upon speaking to people who have experienced such online issues, they have recommended I file and FIR with the police. I will be doing this shortly.

After I mailed them stating that I am going to file an FIR, they offered to refund 25% of the value of the dress. It doesn't make sense though, since the value of the dress (including stitching) is not more that Rs. 2000/-. (As stated by the merchants and retailers of cloth in Chennai).

Be wary of what you purchase from this store. I have been cheated.

am staying in finland ,my relatives staying nearby are very interested in south indian sarees and salwars but in finland their is no stores for south indian sarees,so i decided to buy saress in bulk from chennaistore,for bulk order they are giving special offers ,the prices are very cheap compered to other sites .now am continuously placing bulk order once in every 2 month. thanks to chennaistore.
