I have been using Charles Noble for the last 10 years. Firstly they valued all my jewellery for insurance and that was most helpful.

My experience has always been outstanding where quality and customer service is concerned. Having been let down by another jeweller, they very kindly designed a stunning wedding ring with diamonds at very short notice in 2019 . It still looks outstanding today.

I have just picked up 3 rings that they have repaired (x2) and one they have completely remodelled. The remodelled one had been to 3 other jewellers who replaced the lost diamond only for it to fall out again. Piers, at Charles Nobles, however explained to me how the structure needed to be changed to keep the diamonds in place. They are highly experienced, top quality craftsmanship, they are trust worthy with very valuable jewellery. They are highly respected in the area because they are a privately owned business and want every customer to walk away happy. Quality work takes times sometimes, so if it is a complex piece give them time to do it, you will not be disappointed.

At all times I was contacted and kept posted on the quotes, when each piece was ready and when to collect. I drive from Newbury to have my jewellery look after by them.

They will check your rings for free to see if they are damaged or need attention. This should be done yearly. This is very important as stones do become loose.

I personally have tried many other jewellers and would always go to Charles Noble first.

Wonderful experience with Charles Nobel. I brought in a cherished family ring inherited from my parents to be remodelled as my engagement ring. While I had a few initial ideas, Lia took the time to discuss several design options with me, eventually creating a resin model so I could visualise exactly what the chosen design would look like. I am absolutely thrilled with the final result. The level of genuine care and excellent communication from Lia and Piers at every single stage made the whole experience so special. We will definitely be back later this year for our bespoke wedding rings!

This is 3rd product bought from this amazing jewellery company. Bought on behalf of friend I recommended them too.
Never ever visited the store so all done over phone or online but the customer service is top class. Nothing is too much trouble for them and every member of staff I have spoken with took time to help me. Product arrived and been told it is beyond stunning diamond earrings with certificate. I will definitely be using in the future and this is a definite go to for jewellery. Cannot praise them enough

Can’t fault the excellent service from Charles Noble. I had a slight problem in store whereby a link was lost from my bracelet. They couldn’t do enough to rectify it. Amazing service 😊

I wish I’d never given this place my business. I’ve bought a necklace from here which was 2440, a ring that was 2250 so overall I’ve spent nearly 5 grand with this place. Before I knew better and realised what a rip off they are. I bought this ring as an investment and to pass down to my newborn son. Oh they’re so nice and kind while you’re buying from them till they’ve got your money. When I left the shop I saw how scratched and shoddy the ring was in the natural light and I came back a week later to be told that’s just how it is because it’s gold. I stuck the ring in a draw in its case and didn’t wear it because I was unhappy with it. I decided 3 months later to come back and see if they’ll buy it back. I asked if they’d give me back £2000 for the unworn ring meaning I’d loose £250 because I understand they’d want to make money. They told me to sell it on eBay cause they’ll give me hardly anything for it and it’s not even worth £2000. Ok so you ripped me off!?! You overcharged me massively!!! Now I know better and I’ve been to other jewellers I’ve seen you can get the same stuff for half the price. Or even online half the price. These people are scamming locals that don’t go far making you pay 100s or 1000s over what the item is worth. There’s also a no refund policy once they have robbed you of your money and you change your mind. Also admitting that you’d get more selling your jewellery on eBay is a reason to not sell your items here. Absolute scam rip off. Anyone that’s looking to buy jewellery please listen to me and understand you will get nice jewellery elsewhere for far cheaper so keep looking. I saw a ring just like the one I bought in Brighton for half the price! Cheers for ripping me off, cheers for making my experience with you super unpleasant, cheers for making my purchase bitter and something I cannot enjoy, cheers for lying to me and saying the rings worth far more than it was. Terrible customer service and no morals to people that are trusting you. Great investment you told me as you was all cheerful when I bought it. Worth over 4k you said and here I am back with you telling me it’s worth no where near what I paid. I’ll be going to other jewellers to buy and I recommend anyone who doesn’t want to be massively overcharged does the same. Or at the very least if you’re going to be paying prices inflated over double you’d expect better customer service and rings that aren’t damaged. I hope the local people read this before wasting their money. I’m happy with my purchases elsewhere and I’m happy to pay fair prices, and that is something you don’t do! All I wanted when I realised the ring was scratched up and damaged after I bought it was to return it even at a reasonable loss and you’ve failed. I asked if you’d at least polish the scratches out of good will as a resolution and you even wanted to charge me for that. I think that’s a reasonable request really considering your prices are extortionate.
For reference the ring is a scratched up and dented 18ct yellow gold ring with 1ct of diamonds..go on see how much that is elsewhere it’s far cheaper than £2250.
The jewellery from here could never be an investment as they’ve charged so much that it’d take the rest of your life for the piece to be at the value they charged.
I urge anyone shopping here to check the price of the same jewellery elsewhere and you’ll be shocked at the difference. Stop ripping off local people who trust you or don’t know any better!
