From 1st order, pricing & customer Service i give 10/10.
Updates from start to finish, happy staff when dealing over the phone. I will definitely be ordering again from this company. Les I assume is the owner has kept in touch through the ordering & update process. One tool decided to stop working, Les was very helpful in getting a return in place then his team called to update and send out a replacement.
BEST company I've had dealings with for a long time.
Ordered Ryobi hedge trimmer & garden Edger with fast charger and battery. Very pleased.

My first order with CBS and it was simply a delight to order from them.
Email updates as to expected arrival time and in less than 2 days it arrived in great condition. Yet to assemble and test, but if you want OUTSTANDING service at UNBEATABLE prices with RAPID delivery, I can absolutely recommend this company for their professionalism and service.

Purchased a Ryobi lithium battery charger from C B S.
It’s faulty and C B S refuse to meet their responsibilities under the Consumer Rights Act. Because of this, I cannot recommend them.

I had the best experience with the team. i was placing an order for a Ryobi Lawnmower and i hit a problem paying for it so I phoned them . they answered on the second ring and were very polite and helpful. I eventually paid them direct with a bank transfer. I received a message saying that part of the order would be delivered the next day and the lawn mower on Tuesday. But to my amazement they all arrived the next day ( Saturday). I haven't had such a good experience as this in along time. Thankyou ( I think his name is Len or Les who i spoke to on the phone , you are fabulous.

Decided after reading run time reviews on the order that we placed we would have to cancel and the staff here were most helpful.Fortunately the order had not been sent and the staff managed to stop this.Money also back in my account in record time.The way a firm treats you is how you view them for a review and I must say thank you and am grateful.

I now won't go anywhere else for my tools. Why go to B&Q for powertools when you can speak to the team at cbs who will do everything to get you what you need and not what makes them more money. Broke my chainsaw and the team sorted it for me. Trust me dont look anywhere else

I ordered something from this company sent it by DPD and DPD delivered it to a Working Men's Club round the corner.
I contacted CBS power tools about this all they could do if change the delivery date it didn't seem to care or do anything else about it I had waited in all day to receive the batteries which was a complete waste of time there was no apology our empathy from CBS at all I would never use them again and I just hope people read this review

After a colossal screwup by DPD, who delivered my parcel into my recycling bin that was about to be emptied by the binmen, I contacted CBS by email who immediately dispatched another shipment. No querying anything with me, no messing about, just dealt with DPDs epic error directly. Double thumbs up. I got a deal on genuine Ryobi batteries that I couldn't find cheaper anywhere else. Would definitely recommend.

Bought a Ryobi radio for my spouse for his birthday. He has a lot of Ryobi tools. When we tried it, it did not work for us, only channel was Classic FM when it was by the window and that was static, in the rest of the house and outside total static, so totally useless. Phoned CBS and told them. They arrange to have it collected for a refund. They then told me because it worked where they were, I would have to pay the postage of £9.95 + VAT, which was a lot more than when they posted the item to me. When I received the refund back from them, less the postage, it was less if you add all the figures up. I would never ever deal with this company again. I would rather pay more for an item where people believe what you say.

I was about to drop £270 on some Ryobi gear and decided to actually read the T&Cs. Not exactly customer friendly and made me think twice. So looked at some alternative suppliers and noted that the cbspowertools website & direct-powertools website seem to be one and the same company. Mmmm. So over to Trustpilot to look at reviews. Glad I did - saved me making a possibly expensive mistake.

After trouble ordering via their website, a call to them resolved the issue. They were thorough in checking through online audit trail so that I wouldn't be getting goods twice or worse still paying twice! Resolved and less than 24hrs later goods in my hands. Great service and no annoying phone menus to go through...spoke to a knowledgeable person straight away. Also ryobi tools are cheaper than anywhere else.... highly recommend. Thank you.

Placed an order Monday evening for a strimmer. It's been delivered today! Strimmer in question was half the price of B&Q.
Have previously bought a Chainsaw from them (again much cheaper than B&Q) and delivery was super quick.
Only critcism is that they don't wrap/box up the parcels, they just put a delivery sticker on the product box.

Bought of CBS a few times now and I'm really happy with service I will definitely be using you again and the prices are fair thanks for the good service

Surprised to see a couple of bad reviews. I've had 3 orders in quick succession and every one of them had been delivered promptly and in good condition.
I wouldn't hesitate to use them again. Had the best prices I could find, backed up by hassle free deliveries.

I purchased an impact drill form these some time back, i used it once recently to find the chuck was all buckled up. I naturally thought ryobi were responsible given its been some time, anyway I contact ryobi who told me to send the rating plate on side of tool and send it to them. I later found pout that CBS have a contract to refund on tools within 2 years of purchase but i was not aware, in fact ryobi never mentioned it until i sent them the rating plate and asked for a refund instead of a replacement because my warranty would be short of 2 years if i had a replacement but i could get a refund and buy a new one with a full warranty, Anyway both ryobi and cbs are refusing to give me a full warranty. they say they would but because ive asked ryobi then they cant and ryobi say they cant refund as its CBS fault. bat a ball from both of them leaving the customer out of pocket everytime, wont be buying from CBS anytime soon.

Purchased £284.96 of Ryobi tools, I purchased the Ryobi work bench, which actually took 2 hours or more to build alone, upon building I noticed cosmetic scratching on kick plate, and later on, 1 of the table risers, I contacted them, telling I would NOT like a return of item and replacement as the scratches and dents were cosmetic, so maybe a goodwill gesture, but NO there reply over and over again was we will collect and replace, also quoted to me as there was a Xmas discount applied at payment no other discount could be applied, I have including these 16 tools 6 batteries plus many bits. Spent a fortune in this shop online yet, a goodwill gesture for damaged goods is non existant. I will no longer buy off this company, and pay a bit more from others, I don't want to have to spend more time building a new bench. Just be careful when buying off this company, 1 the 12% discount was an Xmas offer, I would have purchased at full price anyhow. Also the 5% discount is a pittance especially since I've purchased about 7 Ryobi tools off yourselves in 5 or more years.

I bought a Ryobi strimmer in April 2022, model Ryobi Line Grass Trimmer OLT1832 One+ however I wasnt able to use it until July 2022. Great product, but I found that I had selected the wrong model as it was not powerful enough for my needs. I contacted CBS and they promptly replied and made me a full refund. Very efficient customer service, you get to speak to a human who in my case was extremely helpful. I will be ordering a replacement just as soon when I have figured out what to buy. Many thanks.
