Yesterday engine management light came on on my 2012 BMW F30 2.0D.I went to petrol station and bought Cataclean.I took car for a hard drive for 20 min,next morning yellow engine management light was off.This product works !!!

2014 Octavia Vrs Diesel - Eng Mgt light came on and stayed on not long after MOT. Purchased Cataclean 8in1 cleaner and put it in with 1/4 tank as directed.
Gave the car a good drive on Mway, 4th gear, and the following day the light disappeared !

I am a 35 year experience mechanic. I have heard all the stories from amateurs and also similar experienced mechanics who swear by this stuff.
I have used similar products in the past with greatly varying results, mostly negative.
Being a huge fan of motorsport and especially BTCC I saw that Catalclean 'sponsored' Jason Plato Racing, so being a huge fan I thought it must be good, right?
Used in my BMW of fairly high mileage which had some EGR and DPF issues, none of which were fixed or even affected in a positive way which the product claims.
I find it amusing that one reviewer here stated that they were 40 odd years a mechanic and that they added it to half tank of fuel and it performed literal miracles, yet the product instructions were to add it NO MORE than one quarter of a tank?!
I won't buy again or recommend on my personal experience, and to make matters worse, Cataclaen just fired Jason Plato from the team that he built from the ground up and had just won races in their first year as a BTCC team. Without him they would not have had any chance to achieve that.
For me, product does not work. For me, their behaviour does not work.

As After Cleaning The DPF/Catalytic Converter & AdBlue Injectors First The Exhaust System/Engine Has Remained Clean There After As Proven By The Emission Results. All Vans Are 19 to 22 Plated VW Caddy 2.0 TDI With AdBlue System & NO NOX Issues Either. Can & Willing To Prove Everything Said Here, Plus Buy Cataclean Diesel & Petrol By The Box Load. I bought this product after I had looked at reviews from several sites and gave it a try. My car mileage was 150,770 miles. I put it in has the direction said with a full tank of gas and drove from Houston to Lake Charles,La. My engine light had been on, and even driving halfway back i saw that it was still on and I had driven at least a hundred and seventy five miles, but two days later, the light went off And is still off. I noticed better pick up from when I first used it in the gas tank before the engine light went off. Now I don't have to worry about getting rid of the car or buying a new catalytic converter.

My car had gone into limp mode because of the DPF filter, and the dashboard was lighting up with warnings saying the engine was damaged and needed repair. Cat believe how well this has worked. I had a EGR blockage on my diesel Vauxhall insignia for years. The engine management light was always illuminated. Added a bottle of this at a 1/4 tank and ran it down over 3 days as I do 44 miles motorway driving per day.
The results now are that my engine management light is now off and the car runs and feels much better. Yesterday I drove 200 miles and I was getting 68 MPG were as before I was getting 54 MPG.
This stuff really works.

I tried cataclean diesel first time today don't know if it was me or wishful thinking but after 5 minutes it seemed quieter. Took on a 50 mile run by the end seams to be pulling a lot better. Will definitely having again in 3 months time

Used the product after C0 emissions failure on a low mileage 5 year old car, readings fast idle and natural idle of around 2.0, way above limits. Ran the car for 100 miles with cataclean and retested, dropped the Co to 0.03. combination of a good run and the cleaner worked perfectly for me. Won't fix a mechanical issue, but definitely effective at clearing the system.

Bought this for the first time told to put it in when tank was quarter full and drive it like you stole it 😂 so I did and believe it or not my milage actually went up and that has never happened in my old rust bucket I'm definitely getting this again in 3 months as recommended. Ps only went up 4 miles. But went up 👆

Don't waste your money on this. My vehicle still failed the emissions test after me putting a bottle into the fuel tank. I'll try Forte diesel cleaner instead.

I bought cataclean today cause my catalystic converter kept throwing the po420 code I bought a cat but the dealership didn’t have time to put in yet so I bought this stuff put it in and my move shot up driving the interstate and in town know granted only day one lol fingers crossed didn’t everything in the bottle down to the tea lol

I tried it on my Volvo S80 cant say its made any difference. fuel same, performance same.

I'm always worried about my mot every year as my 12 year old car spews out loads of black smoke. Follow instructions on bottle , rag car around in 3rd and 4th gear 4000 to 5000 rpm for a hour.
Took for mot passed with flying colours.
Smoke test result should be between 34 and 38.
Mine read 0.39.

Diesel Cataclean 8-in-1. My 2014 Nissan Qashqai threw up 3 errors all at once. Chassis error, front radar error and start/stop error. All seemingly unrelated but obviously connected in some way.
Searched the Web and one possible reason is a blocked pipe to the exhaust gas sensor! (Thanks Nissan for the helpful error messages!)

Tried unblocking the pipe with a brake cable but could only get it so far and it made no difference. I bought Cataclean from Halfords and added it to 1/4 full fuel tank. Drove for 30 mins and the chassis error disappeared withing 5 mins. Turned off the engine and restarted and all the errors were gone. It's only been 3 days but so far no sign of the persistent errors. 🤞 Fantastic stuff!!!

Bought cataclean petrol from gsf parts complete rubbish made no difference to the car - failed mot on emissions - sent off under the money back guarantee heard nothing - don’t waste your money

Bought this on advice from my garage . Put it in last week, my diesel engine was sluggish in 2/3rd gear low revs. Car not sluggish anymore , fuel consumption up about 5-10% easily. Great buy for the price.

Bought a bottle of cataclean for me fiesta it’s worked very well. It passed its mot fine. Car is running so much quiet for a diesel. Thanks

Bought this because my car was sounding really rough when idle and at top speeds . I’m suprised by how well this has worked I must of had a blocked sensor or injector this did the job I’ll definitely use it again
