Cash America Today is the Worst! Totally a Ripoff With Terrible Customer Service! Do Not I Repeat Do Not Attempt to Take a Loan Out With This Company!

I wish I could leave less than 1 star. I was told on Monday my application was approved. I did the bank process, the rep talked to underwriting, and I signed loan documents. I was told I’d receive my funds in 1-2 business days. I checked my bank today and my loan status and it says application withdrawn. I called and spoke to someone this morning and was just given the reason “underwriting denied it.” After being told Monday they approved it. Of course I was never notified it was withdrawn. No reason given. And magically no supervisor was available to speak. Definitely do not suggest this company to anyone at all.

Would rate it lower if possible. Was told I was pre-approved. Signed all documents, then was on phone for 45 while verifying my bank, then told application was denied.

not direct lender. will send you to another website and sell your information so you get a bunch of spam emails and phone calls.

Their website repeatedly says “we are a direct lender” but as soon as you submit your application, they immediately redirect you to a 3rd party lender! Blatant false advertisement and a complete waste of time!

Borrowed a loan of $250 from Cash America today subsequently they charged me $743 for the $250 loan came out of my bank every month $18 principal and $73 fee called to speak with someone they were rude and sarcastic made me cuss him out I got mad don't go through them how is it legal to charge double or triple the original loan amount because they keep adding their account fees every month on a 7% pay down plan 7% Plus their account fees what's your $75 per month on top of any other fee they want to slide in there you'll end up paying $800 and some dollars on a $250 loan on the pay down fee plan I mean

I will give it no stars, but they won’t let that happen. I have to at least punch in one star just to give a review anyway I would not do this ever again with this company. Their loans I was told that there would be a $90 fee and a $300 loan . I asked the representative with biscuit and he told me yes that would be it and it would be paid off .Instead they never told me about finance fees. this is to extend the loan longer and longer making you pay more than double what the $300 loan was.I advise anyone that’s trying to get a loan with this company not to ever try,not worth it. Total Ripoff. Don’t watch the guy on YouTube. He doesn’t know what he’s talking about.just Paid it off $308 after 3months I Paid $313 in interest. I would still be paying on a $300 loan into 2025 which would have quadruple the interest just for $300.

Poor customer service, Assistant Manager rude and they don't check or clean the equipment they sell properly.

If I could give this company a zero I definitely would do that. I applied for a loan was approved received a welcome letter and also the signed agreement that showed my loan number and payment schedule. Next day there was nothing deposited into my checking account. When I called them to request the status they said that my loan wasn’t approved which was confusing since I have received all the other documentation saying that I was approved. Lastly, no communication was made on their part to let me know that they were breaching the agreement and not holding up to their responsibility. So, I tried to speak to a manager however they would not accept my call so if this is how they do business then I do not want to be one of their customers and I would advice anyone else to not use them for loan services.

Worse place ass hat for a manager. Go somewhere else they have no idea what gun values are.

It was fantastic at first till I had multiple payments coming out of my account even way after I paid off the load. I called customer services and was told I have a daily interest charge of $6.18. If I didn't pay it off immediately I would have had to pay over $1000.00 for a $300.00 loan. Never again will I use this service again.

Would and have told others about this place. They are nice and helpful with the loan experience and tell you everything upfront. Money was in my account the next day. If i ever have any questions they are always helpful in answering them. Sucks it doesn't help my credit score,but i'm still giving it 5 stars. When i was in a bind i'm glad i had a place to borrow from.

I ve used cashamericatoday quite a few times now and I have had absolutely no problems with them at all. They are extremely friendly, and courteous and get the money to you by the next day, I would highly recommend them. Excellent company in my opinion!!

They approved me for a $200 installment loan, took my bank information then turned me down because I didn’t provide my employer phone number for them to call to confirm my employment. They had access to my direct deposit info to prove it and I wasn’t comfortable with my boss having to confirm employment for a measly $200. Definitely would not use them in the future.

Cash America Today portrays themselves as an online DIRECT lender. However, after entering your personal information, they direct you to a site where you must signup for Credit Sesame in order to complete the application process. Once you sign up for the service, you have membership with Credit Sesame and given a list of additional lenders to apply for a loan with. A total waste of time.

Horrible service. If I could give 0 stars I would. And the employee Jason (I’m sure that’s not his real name) was not any help at all. He said I was approved then he said I wasn’t approved. And from the looks at the other reviews this happens all the time with this place. Never referring this place to anyone

I got the loan and I had used them before but their annual rate has skyrocketed.It is now 333.9017percent So I borrowed 200 dollars and I am paying payments that amount to 399.00 in interest for 12 payments. So all total of paying back 599.00 dollars. Will pay the amount off in one payment of 260.00 dollars so I don't have installment payments. Be careful if u use them Try to just use them for 1 month.
