Before ordering a part I called to make sure it was in stock and would ship the same day. I was told it was in stock and would ship UPS the same day. I paid an additional $30+ for expediated shipping, and was told that would arrive in 2 business days. After I waited the 2 business days and still didn't recieve my item I was told it shipped from a 3rd party vendor and they couldn't track it or tell me where my item was. On the 3rd business day I recived a tracking number showing my item shipped 3 days after I ordered it and shipped UPS Ground. Car Parts King told me they could do nothing! When I suggested they call the 3rd party vendor and have them overnight me my item- I was told they couldn't were unable to incur the shipping cost.
Long story short- they lost a customer and another company was able to overnight me my item CHEAPER than Car Parts King.
My adivice if you need your item quickly- stay far far away. If you don't care when your item arrives- this is the company for you.

Needed a set of tpms sensors for my toyota - got em out quick en cheap!

Thanks to [name], who hung up on me, then spoke unintelligibly for the most part when I called back, then put on a stupid act: "I am confused, what do you want to do" - "I don't know what you want". Both emails very clearly stated what needed to be done.
He ignored everything, said he didn't understand, wouldn't acknowledge what was written, or what I said when I called him. He continually spoke over me and did not listen until I said that I would like to speak to a his boss several times in a row.
He conveniently said "xxx will be back in about half an hour". He said that there weren't any bosses there, only some in the "warehouse" and they wouldn't be of help.
I asked why he couldn't just send another gasket as I had asked, I was willing to work with the damaged water pump (the machine surface has some damage). He kept up playing dumb. It was his refusal to get anyone else, as he kept up his stupid act, so I said just return the part - he suddenly spoke clearly and became lucid again and could understand what I was saying. Amazing!
What waste of time and money CPK is. Thank you for hiring someone with an exceptional customer disservice background, you'll get a lot of new one time only customers that way...

To date, no Feddback of carpartkings.

This situation has caused solely your company, and it seems for me that the satisfaction of your customers has no significance for you. Your mails are all signed with William M. Still, I think that I was talking to different people. Perhaps this has caused some problems too.

I buy for more than 10 years car parts in the USA, but something like this I have never experienced. For example, Extreme Psi or vivdracing have always informed me if it gave delivery problems. Your company had done nothing.

You work with USPS. This logistics company for the global shipping completely unsuitable. The delivery time of 14 days to Germany and 19 days for the return speak for themselves. That's like 30 years ago. With the standard shipping from UPS it lasts only a few days and is not expensive.

Things seems to be OK, I'm waiting for my package.
Would give a 4 or 5 stars rating if I get it.
They make killer deals in any case, unbeatable on Stoptech prices !

I ordered a fuel pump assembly that was almost half the price of another popular auto parts store (exact same unit) and it arrived the next day. You can't ask for much better service than that!

Ordered Universal Air Conditioner A/C Hose Assembly HA 10357C from them online after some research to verify it was the part that I needed specifically for my car. Then I researched prices and retailers and CPK won out. The price was right, ordering was easy, and shipping was fast but I didn't get the full part. I only got half of it: the half without the high-side port. I was expecting the whole part as advertised in the pic and had no idea it could possibly come as shipped.

I called to let them know and the first order of biz was to find out if the other half was simply a mistake made in shipping and left out. Turns out the part, from Universal Air Conditioner Inc (uacparts.com), only ever ships without the half with the high-side port. Theirs and CPK's website listings show the same pic as a whole unit. Even after this discovery, both of their sites still list the product as a whole unit so customers who order these types of parts are continuing to get their time wasted from false advertising.

It took several phone calls to resolve the issue of it being the wrong part, getting a replacement part (which they didn't have), having a shipping label sent to me so I could return it to them (on their dime), and getting a refund. I understand mistakes are made and my situation was fully resolved but nothing happened automatically. I had to make it all happen. Plus they're still falsely advertising the wrong parts in some of the stock pics that they use from their suppliers (other people selling the same part are doing the same thing so be careful with UAC). That's where I have the real issue because I'll bet I'm not the first one to order and not get what I paid for. Because the parts aren't that expensive and it takes some effort to resolve the situation, people likely give up and take the hit. It shouldn't be that way.

CPK needs to have more honesty in their pics and if that means getting together with their suppliers to do so or dropping the bad ones who won't comply, then they should do that instead of wasting customer's time. A lot of my time was wasted with this problem and I couldn't just fix my car right away. Since they didn't have the proper part either way, I had to get it someplace else. It cost more but I got exactly what I needed: the whole part. And this time I made sure to order it from someone who provided a pic of the real part, not a stock pic. That's where you should be careful when ordering from CPK. If you're sure you want to order from them, call them ahead of time if you have to to make sure the part you order is the part as shown.

I am strongly disappointed by your customer support. Tomorrow I'll get in contact with manager on the issue. Meanwhile I require this company to send me a copy of my waybill with tracking number to forward the package on my own. It is really not THAT hard and I am surprised customer support can't do that.

Again you guys amaze me, I will be using you's more.

These guys shipped me a full set of rotors pads and calipers for free to my door within 2 days of orderin! What is better than that? Didnt have to talk to anyone used their car selector chose my parts and my mechanic will install em. Sweet deal.

Ordered a complete set of pads & rotors for my 67 chevelle - came in fast and price was right. Even got them sooner than I thought and I did it all online with there part finder tool which I thought was relatively easy to use. They do have a big selection so you should have a good idea of what you want before going in. All and all great purchase will use them again!

First wanted to get the product delivered to The Netherlands,Amsterdam.
For 2 mirror covers and 4 door handle covers i was charged 100 USD !
For long term shipping it would come down to 50.
But still more then double the normal UPSC shipping rate.
Got parcel sent to friend of mine in Houston with free shipping.
She forwarded parcel to me in amsterdam for USD 20.07
Not sure if the problem is with seller or the Ebay system but someone is making a huge profit on shipping international orders, have seen this with almost all internationals on ebay.

I run a mobile auto repair business in Portland Oregon Ace Mechanics ,and i have been looking for a part since two months ago. Some thing you just cant find at a junk yard. You might find it online but usually you have no luck. This day was different. I fount what i was looking for rather quickly oddly enough, This one day i got on the new and tried to look for my part yet once again. Shopping here was easy and fast. I will defiantly Be Back.

I waited a while before sending my review so my husband and I could give the part a chance to prove the quality you guys promised. I just want to say a great big huge thank you for the great customer service, selling us a quality part and the quick shipment so we could our truck back on the road! We bought our first PCM from AAA Dodge of Sacramento thinking it would be easier to deal with someone sho wasn't online and they gave us a faulty part with horrible customer service and was very dishonest about their warranty policy. We still have the old PCM from AAA Dodge and comapred it to the one we bought from you and yours was by far better quality. Having a PCM (computer brain) die causing the vehicle to just shut off while on the road is not only scary, but deadly so we thank you again for selling us a part we can trust and feel safe with.
