Clicked on by mistake, I can't get out of the payment. They keep taking payments. Keep away from them.

Scam site. Stay away.

Scam. They look like they renew your tax but in fact don't. They pretend to look like a government website.
They have taken 2 payments even after agreeing cancellation and have not yet refunded.

We were paying for my daughters Road Tax, Ok a little distracted at the time, but we Googled Pay Road Tax, and somehow this companies website, which appeared to look like the official Gov.uk site appeared. £17.85 paid, for what I thought was 6 months Road Tax, received no email confirmation, checked my daughters bank and the payment had gone to these scammers, fraudsters, con-men at Vehicledebit.co.uk. I have attempted to cancel the subscription through their website, I have reported them to the National Cyber Security Centre, contacted Google and we will be going to the bank first thing in the morning.
This website is a a total scam, apparently they only give reports on cars, but charge you a monthly subscription, how are Google letting them get away with it????? Not hopeful on a refund but hoping the bank can do something for us in the morning.

I do not recall signing up with this company, and they do not answer the phone in person to discuss the issue of the surprise charges and recurring monthly payments being taken from my account. So far as I can gather, it seems this company sneakily presented as the U.K. government site for renewing car road tax, and somehow kept my are details when I made payment for car tax and proceeded to take money from my account without my knowledge after I had paid for the road tax. Payments started in October 2025, and I have only just noticed!

When I first got my vehicle details of Vehicle Debit I did not know it was a subscription until two months later. I cancelled with them straight away (not with the bank). Fast forward one year and they came back and took 2 payments in one day and Nationwide could do nothing but put a block them and I have to request a block every year because they have card details. Do not get scammed by these losers.

After having photographic proof of cancelling my subscription with them after being scammed trying to tax my car which at the time looked exactly like the government website (they have since changed the look) they have randomly started charging my card again- so no they don’t delete your details they keep them and will randomly charge you in the hope you don’t notice.

This firm obliges you to sign up for endless subscriptions. Their site offers the ability to unsubscribe however the links are broken. This firm is clearly ripping off the unwary with no ability to contact them.

DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY. IT'S SCAM!!!!

This is a scam. Just be careful which form you use online to tax your;car Make sure there is a crown on it!

I thought I was paying my car road tax but was totally misled. All I got was a report on my car, which I own anyway. I then discovered £17.85 would be taken from my account every month! But to make matters worse, Barclays Bank said they could block future payments but were unable to retrieve my £17.85 as it didn’t “fit in” any of their boxes! No wonder these scammers continue to take our money and get away with it. I was told by Barclays to get in touch with the company myself - you try it! There’s no way. I am more than angry right now.

Do not use this site for car tax. It is a misleading website
& will set up a monthly direct debit.

This site £7.99 out of my bank & I don’t know why.

Please be careful scam and no refund we wanted to tax our car online but didn’t realise when this site came up in the search we thought it was the DVLA website but nothing to do with them had to go on website and cancel monthly fee it was easy to do and they replied next day but also had to contact our bank alot of hassle!

This scam site took over whilst applying for car tax. I found that I had been driving around for 3 weeks with no car tax and I had paid 17.85 believing this to be the monthly payment for car tax.

When I realised the scam, I contacted my bank dispute and fraud teams and they have blocked all payments and returned the initial payment and the monthly fee that had been pending.

SCAM!! I thought I had taxed my car, when I went into my bank statement I didn't recognise the payment. Calling my bank today!!

This scam site took over whilst applying for car tax. I have been driving around the past 3 weeks with no car tax and I have paid 17.85.
There is no contact number but I cancelled any future payments by email and requested a refund. They replied no for the refund but have supposedly cancelled any futher transactions.
I have contacted my bank and they have assured me the the refund is pending 😑

Scammed like the others have all said. Thought I was paying for car tax and it was a scam. Raising a dispute to reclaim the money. What horrible and disgusting people there are out there.

Foolishly I went to this website to set up a direct debit for my car tax, I thought it was unusual they wanted the first installment of £17.35 immediately but paid it, I just felt something wasn't right so I immediately called dvla to enquire if they had received my payment and if I was taxed, he checked and to me no payment received and I wasn't taxed, I tried to contact this scam company but when I clicked on the small lines in the top right hand corner to get contact info nothing happens, there is no way of getting in touch with them, I am in the process of disputing it with my bank to get my money back. DONT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE I DID AND STAY WELL AWAY AS IT IS DEFINITELY A SCAM
