Installation not included after all
I chose Canadian Appliance Source because of the fact that free delivery and installation was part of the package. When I purchased it, my salesperson, Ali Hafeez, did not mention that there were any exceptions to this installation policy. Moreover, I carefully read my contract, and it did not list any exceptions to this policy. However, when my dryer arrived, they would not install it, saying that the length of the venting tube required was too long. In the end, I had to hire a separate installer to come and install (the venting tube on) the dryer at an extra expense. (By the way, I got two separate quotes for installation (of the venting tube), sending pictures to each of them, and neither of them suggested that there was anything unusual or exceptional about the length of venting tube required in my case.)
Reply on April 7th:
1) What has been labeled by CAS as a "non-standard" length of venting tube (requiring an "extension") was considered in both estimates by other companies as a standard length subject to their minimum installation charge. The venting tube now installed is a single, one-piece tube going directly from my dryer to the hole in the outside wall.
2) Yes, this labeling of my tube as "non-standard" was explained at the time of DELIVERY. It was not explained at the time of PURCHASE, nor was there even any use of the word "standard" or "non-standard" in the purchase contract, much less a description of what a standard versus non-standard installation might be, even in any fine print.

My delivery
The sales person knew the products and was able to guide me in my selection. Having said that, the negative side is that we should get a delivery time and date at the time we pay and finalize as people living in apartments need to book the service elevator and we should have a little flexibility to change the time if elevator is not available. Surface quality is not okay
The delivery is okay! But the surface quality is not okay ! I only so far used for few days It appears significant scratches even I used it very gently! Need to contact quality department for this issue!

No help
There was supposed to be a part that we had to install on the rear of the fridge called a bumper blocker. We never recieved the part. I called at least 4 times, all they would do is send me a form for refund or return, which I needed neither of. I told them all needed was the part. I then called sales because that's the only two numbers listed, they were no help. I then tried to get help through their chat 3 times. They were absolutely no help. As of now I am in the dark as to this parts function or importance because no one could tell me anything about it.

A comprehensive selection and some good prices.
A comprehensive selection of refrigerators was on display at the CAS store, without the clutter of furniture that you have to walk past at a "furniture" store. In only a few minutes, Dave Horca was able to show on his computer the fridge models that had the features I was looking for and the prices for each. Within two hours (probably less), I was able to make my buying decision and go home. Thank you, Dave.
