So impressed with Camping International and Terry in particular. We have bought folding campers from Terry since 1994 and always a positive experience but this time was exceptional. With only 2 weeks to go before leaving on a two month trip to Germany our camper was written off. Terry pulled out all the stops to get us a new Pennine Pathfinder in time and was so helpful and reassuring at a difficult time for us. So friendly and knowledgeable. Very grateful Terry. Thanks.

Changed my review as the seller as just got back to me hopefully we can come to some resolution and find out why my awning would have teared like it in the 1st instance around 6” long
well apperantly they couldnt help because of the nice weather we had in the summer thats what destroyed my Awning to much sunshine as l left up for 3 wks solid

I've used them for years. Always plenty of stock at very reasonable prices. Staff are all freindly and helpful. Recently bought an item that was faulty. I wanted to buy a different make instead, as I could see the first item wasn't as good. They swapped them without any fuss. Would highly recommend.

Very recently purchased a folding camper from Terry at Camping International, Gillingham. Having never owned before, I relied on Terry to explain everything from hitching to pitching. He was brilliant, extremely helpful and knowledgeable and dealt with all my queries patiently and in a friendly manner. Afterwards I completed my kitting out by purchasing what I needed from a very well stocked shop at reasonable prices.
All in all, it was a one stop shop for folding camper and all the kit. Very impressed.

I needed to leave a review for this wonderful company as the customer service I received was impeccable. I had ordered an annexe which had an issue with the manufacturers. When I contacted Camping International, Dean responded immediately, chased up the item and got back to me straight away. This happened every time I contacted them. The annexe eventually came back in stock this year so I didn't hesitate in purchasing it through them. Highly recommended!!

Beware of returning items as I purchased a product on 23/04/2022 and didn’t need to use it the packaging was sealed and returned as sold , I returned it 15 days later on 07/05/2022 costing £27.99 . I work hard to earn a living and have a tight budget and not much free time .but I must admit I didn’t know the return policy was 10 days till manager said . The assistant I took item back too at the till just went off with my receipt not explaining anything, then came back to tell me the store manager said I couldn’t have my money back , as it was five days over I ask to speak to him and was ask to go to see him in his office , and I must say that Terry Dallas was totally ignorant and said I was unable to bring it back , I said I didn’t need it he said the refund would have to be given as a gift card which I didn’t want , his customer service was very unprofessional .

Placed an order online as had everything I wanted and at very reasonable prices, My order turned up within a couple of days and via a decent courier.
Would definitely use them again and recommend.

The litmus test is when things go wrong though and, they were painless, efficient and super friendly when my Vango Comfort 7.5 sleeping mat failed on first use, first night into a 16 day tour of France.....yes, I should of checked it before going😊.

Even though out of the 30 days, they had the mat collected, tested and refunded within 4 days, thats just excellent service.

Avoid Vango SIMs....common problem leaking from valve area apparently but....

Do use Camping International, they are simply brilliant.

Service and supply is really important to us in our lives, this was delivered in spades by Alesha at Camping International, Gillingham, Kent. Not only was her service first class, it was informative, factual and with previous customer experiences relayed to us. This allowed us to have an informed decision on the Kampa Dometic Air Pro 3 Windbreak. This Windbreak is a perfect fit for our Ford Custom Campervan, exactly fitting from bonnet to boot. This allows not only a wind free zone but our personal space which we all still require for camping. We were presently surprised by the vastness of the store and the array of camping goods accessories, particularly that this late on in the season Camper International still had stock of the Air Pro 3 and other like Windbreaks. Thank you for all your help Mary and David.

Super support. Folding camper pre-used was bought blind. I was confident to go ahead due to the detailed information and images provided and the trade service provided before collection.
No effort too great from Terry and the team to ensure a convenient and speedy collection. All advice patiently given for a novice!

Purchased a Pennine countryman 2011, Terry very helpful, explaining and demonstrating how to assemble and folding away, good price even gave us a step and 2 sets of new pegs, will return as service was very good

Purchased an Isabella Air Cirrus 400 from Camping International at the Oct 2019 NEC show, and from that point on, issues have carried on.
This is not the first tine I have purchased from CI, both on line or when attending NEC shows since 2015, but it will definitely be my last.
Although the awning had issues from production (which is not down to CI but Isabella UK), the after sales service from CI is v poor in our experience, and as we had not used our awning until June 2021, (due to sheilding because of Covid), we appeared to be blamed for errors on the order, the missing parts, (which took a prolonged period of wrangling to even not fully resolve), and the seemingly obstructively poor attitude to customer service and after sales, when a customer has paid our over £2000.00 on this above purchase alone, with further previous purchases, but where more expense is required to rectify issues to make our awning more user friendly.

We recently purchase a Sunncamp trailer tent which had a couple of broken awning poles, so we went to Camping International in Gillingham to see if they sold replacements. Terry was very helpful and organised some spare poles for us. He also gave us some great advice about our trailer. We visit this store regularly and always get great service. Highly recommended!

Emailed rang no reply does Terry even exist I wonder.Sorry carnt recommended as they obviously don’t give a toss about future customers.
Am sure COVID will come into any excuses given so busy so much work so many customers lost.

Had a broken item arrive. Exceptional customer service. New item sent out the next day and broken one collected at the same time.
Can't recommend them enough

Walked in & asked for a gas bottle, an elderly woman behind the counter asked what type I needed, I said I just bought a BBQ & have the instructions & she replied, it doesn’t matter we haven’t got any. I said there are loads of bottles behind the counter all different sizes & she said they are no good for you! I asked if they would have any good for me & she replied, maybe a delivery next week but you have to fight for them. I asked if I could order one & she said NO! First come first serve & you got little chance! I got one 2 hours later on ebay which cost me £10 more! That woman needs hormonal therapy

I bought a new Dometic awning and pup tent from Camping International and I was helped out by Aleshea who couldn’t do enough.
She helped me out so much and is the reason so would continue to buy local rather then on internet

I buy everything I can from Camping International, quality and service thanks
