confirmed order cancelled without reason??
I ordered 2 t-shirts from their website, to be shipped to my address. My mailing address is different from the billing address for my CC. They confirmed my order, accepted payment - sent me a link to a survey three days later - and then cancelled my order without any reason given.

ATTENTION TO ALL PEOPLE. AVOID THIS PLACE IMMEDIATELY!!! I purchased three coni-bear traps ( 110). It s to catch squirrels. Twice i almost lost my fingers. I called the first time and explained that these traps are poorly made in Taiwan and they are a knock off from the real coni-bear traps. I had to order the accessory to set it up. They did not charge me for the delivery. It does nothing. Its dangerous. I ll bet anything no one is satisfied with this product. I m intouch with a lawyer and see if something can be done. So dangerous!!! Be aware folks.
Poor Service
What happen to Cabelas? I bought an out board motor fin last summer and never installed it, still in plastic wrap. Tried to return it today to buy more stuff but they won’t take returns after 60 days. I remember when Cabelas cared about their customers.
Very disappointed, this reminds me why I stopped shopping here after Bass Pro bought them.

I Bought a Firearm online at Cabelas and had it shipped to Woodbury Minnesota store. I went to the store to pick it up. I provided my ID And permit to purchase.My ID address didn't match the address on the permit to purchase as i had moved but Cabelas website clearly say that i can bring another form of address id such as a car title which i also provided that matched the address on the permit. The clerk accepted these forms and went to the Back and i waited for him to return as cabelas also does a Background check but he returned from the Back and told me that i could not get my purchase because my ID address did not match the address on the purchase permit i told the clerk i provided you the car title that matched the address on the permit that cabelas website said could be used to verify. The clerk saye that Woodbury Cabelas policy doesn't have to accept the car title as a proof of address that they determine what is acceptable even though Cabelas online policy says that the car title is accepted i asked the clerk to show me the store policy that states that the car title was not accepted and the clerk replied that they could not show me that policy. I plan to file a complaint against this store and i will never shop at a Cabellas again and i would advise anyone who shop there against ut TERRIBLE!!

Terrible online fishing rod experience.
I ordered a fishing rod that was in stock according to the site. It took 6days to ship the order 8 to get it. Meanwhile I ordered a reel from japan that took 2 days. When the pole arrived it was broken in the box. So I drove to the store near me to return the pole. Only for them not to have a replacement. Very frustrated and disgusted. Tell your family to get you diff gift cards.
Bad customer service/ Terrible Shipping
Processing times are terrible which doesn’t help their shipment times. My package was suppose to be here 2/25 but my package was delivered in Kansas City, MO and forgot about for 3 days until they finally shipped it out after I contacted customer service. Terrible Customer service, terrible shipping times, but you’ll eventually receive your order. I tried to cancel my order but once’s it’s “processed” you can’t. SMH

I had an excellent experience with Jakob at the Lehi, Utah Cabela's. He was extremely helpful and very knowledgeable. I bought a 800 SX Trakker. Jakob was awesome to work with. In fact, the entire team was awesome; the lady who did the paperwork came in on her day off to make sure I got my Trakker when I wanted. The service department guy was also very helpful in making sure I knew how to take care of the machine. Overall, they rocked it!

Our Cabelas in Gainesville NEVER has anything in stock so the only option is to "ship to store" from their website. I ordered a lure that was in stock on 13 April 2021. I got an order confirmation immediate but nothing since. Although they have completely spammed me with Survey requests about my experience. I finally called yesterday and was told it would not "ship" until 27 April. Thanks, just in time for me to be on my scheduled hunting/fishing trip and not able to go pick it up. The only thing they seem to excel at is delivering spam to your inbox. Never again!

Here's my honest feedback. Do not purchase from Cabela's. I made a purchase for 4 seats but had to cancel the order after 1 day. I contacted customer service. They issued me an email stating the order was cancelled and my card would not be charged. Well they decided to charge my card anyways AND ship the items to me. So now my card is charged, I have no seats due to COVID delays, and I have to now refuse the UPS shipment a week from now and then wait 3 weeks to have my card credited, while I get to pay interest on the balance too. Somehow I get penalized for this? I called customer service to sort it out and they say "sorry sir, there's nothing we can do". Buyer beware. Do not buy from this store unless you are sure of what you want. Even then I would suggest ordering from another reputable vendor who won't screw you around. Look at the other reviews and make the wise choice. Don't think about cancelling and expect over 2 weeks for delivery.

Well to start a 1 star for customer service is far too much. I ordered a product for my nephew to go deep sea fishing with. I ordered this on 4/8/21 the shipping date was 4/13 GREAT he goes fishing the 16th we’re all set... right? Well no not right apparently their warehouse never sent the product. I called on the 13th to talk w/ a nice gentlemen who apologized saying he was having one sent “red” (next day air). Following day I call because the item wasn’t received & a manger says there is no conversation at all documented nor was the item shipped. The woman I spoke with is now researching this call to find the details while I still wait and no fishing rod to go fishing with! I will never order from cabelas again. I still have no answers to when this item is coming & now I have to explain to my 14yo nephew he can’t go fishing with his own equipment! Mad & stressed who needs it!! Cabelas sucks!!!
Ordered Fishing lures online after hours and can not cancel
Ordered Fishing lures online at 10:PM and noticed after I picked the slow shipping so I could not find where to cancel it so I ordered a duplicate with the correct shipping speed to make it in time for my fishing trip. Woke up the next morning to cancel on the site and still could not find it so I uses chat support. They said they could not cancel and were so rude. Then I called and they said that you can only call to cancel 10 minutes after the order. I explained it was closed and they only said get the order and then return it. Cabelas online is a scam!
Absolute garbage company. Do not make the same mistake we all made. Do not buy from cabelas their online ordering is an absolute nightmare. They lie on shipping and cant track packages then refuse refunds after weeks of it not arriving. Absolute scam!
I gave them chance for the last time
I gave them a chance for the last time. They consistently take forever to deliver an in stock product (10 days this time) while every other online retailer of sporting supplies takes 3 to 5 days on their free shipping. Their prices are high, selection is poor and their inventory control is bad (claim some items are in stock when they aren't) etc. If it wasn't for the $9 credit in my account that was sitting since my last order from them in 2018, I wouldn't have bothered with them. This is not a one time problem.. It's always! I used to buy several 1000's of dollars annually from them.. Never again! I'm also cancelling my Cabelas Club Visa (which I don't need). They went to the dogs after BassPro bought them. I'll be buying all of my goods from 'M Way' USA in the future whom I respect and have been taking great care of my orders.

I filled out a Cabelas (Acworth GA) on line request to fix a few things on a 2019 Ranger bass boat. It’s been two weeks and still haven’t heard back. When I lived in Virginia we had a Bass Pro. Their service department sucked also. You would think they would read these reviews and fix it.

During covid I worked very hard to continue making my payments but every month they hit me with a late fee even though I was trying hard to make payments and get ahead. the last payment was short .10 cents and they billed me 5.76 in late fees. This is obsurd. I cannot believe a company could be so cold. Will continue to post negative reviews. CABELAS SUCKS!!!
Inventory Issues
Some firearms have an online order button with a ship to store option. They make you go through the whole ordering process and when you hit the final button to purchase you then get an insufficient inventory message. I tried this with multiple products and I got the same message every time. I was only ordering 1 item, so the message indicates they have zero inventory in all stores.
