Truly unprofessional company, ill prepared to do their job, make very unprofessional statements with no experience to back up what they say, they seem to think a warped opinion is fact, incompetent and useless. They are a scam company paid to refuse insurance claims, they have no qualifications to speak of and make ludicrous statements as to cause of storm damage, truly pathetic. Avoid at all costs

Absolute joke of a company
If I could give zero i would, this company is a shambles. They were instructed by hastings (another company that should be avoided) to complete an insurance claim survey, they refused the flat roof after storm Claudia in November and stated poor workmanship but agreed rest of internal damages inside of house and gave a settlement figure which I think was based on 1980's prices. I had a roofing specialist out to fit a new flat roof who disagreed with statement of poor workmanship, so I appealed the decision, in a case of definitely not unconscious bias the appeal went to the surveyor who initially declined the flat roof who partially agreed with the roofing company but then loaded a fresh excuse of wear and tear, this was not stated in the original decision. It is all going through appeal and complaints procedures now but I am not holding my breath, this company works its way through an excuse list and it is clear they will always side with insurance to keep costs down, the lack of integrity in the appeals process is shocking, do yourself a favour and ask for another company if your insurance wants to send out this bunch of liars.

Useless they only take side of insurers and they lie.I have a dining room which was only constructed about 5 years ago as my husband is using the old dining room after his second stroke and the new dining room roof started letting Water the assessors through flat roof.The guy from BVS said we had some work done in dining room previously which was untrue.The assessors name was Jamie Moon don't trust him.
Appalling
I would never want to deal with this incompetent useless company ever again….I was assigned a surveyor who couldn’t tell the difference between engineered oak and laminate…I lost count how many times this was stated, yet he still referred to my damage flooring as laminate…on top of that the settlement figure was declined twice, due to being nowhere near the estimates to which I had submitted. I’ve also raised a complaint regarding the fourteen months this has already taken. And guess what…I’m still waiting for their response to my complaint…

After reading some of the reviews on here I was worried about this company coming to have a look. Although it doesn't look like it will be an insurance claim we are happy with David's help. He was a knowledgeable, friendly and helpful guy. He has really helped us by giving his honest opinion what's caused our water leak issue where we didn't even realise. So although doesn't look to be good news on the claim its understandable why and we now have started contacting people for what should be a cheap and easy enough fix. I can't fault the guy
Incompetent useless company
Incompetent useless company. Surveyor was rude and arrogant and clearly there if the brief visit to reject the claim. Made no attempt to assess the damage in a fair manner. A joke of a organisation.
Terrible Company
I am livid, I have just had a call with an extremely rude and condescending man called Colin. I emailed in because I had a contractor out to remove the walls, remove the damp and start the drying process. There was black mould remaining when I returned to the property, some of the skirting had not been removed (wet skirting), only half the kitchen floor (report said all of it). Dust everywhere (I know that cant be helped but was loads in my beroom upstairs, yet not my sons (both on the same floor) and both had doors shut. Also the dehumidifier being used to dry the cupboard (the source of the damp/mould) is a fan. Whilst the man that attended the property was nice enough the man (Colin) was awful. All he had to fo was apologise and explain things step by step. He was defensive and didnt want to listen to me. I asked to log a complaint and a recording of the call but he said I had to go to Hastings Direct for that. I then said I didnt want BVS doing the restoration works based off of his attitude and he said “thats fine, we will collect the drying equipment and close your case”. I told him just how rude and unhelpful he was but he didnt care, saying “I dont have an attitude”. I will also not be renewing with Hastings if this is the sort of company they use. Absolutely shocking service.
Poor customer service..
Same issues with many as related to waterleak..the surveyor visited the property so sure & full of arrogance and telling us weren't covered for waterleak ..as we are to be accountable for a leak with happened over 10 years ago and was sorted. The minute he came to the property you could see he was here to fail the claim on behalf of Admiral. Our builder assessed the repair for around 7k , admiral was offering 3.4k .Now the surveyor declared proudly we won't get a penny as weren't covered . Would never recommend Davies BVS again..Admiral has planned for another surveyor from DBVS for next week to do same old survey..which we feel its a waste time. Overall poor quality and customer service. Awful stressful and poor professionalism..
3 months in and still waiting
Still on a current water leak claim , this company was appointed by Admiral insurance. currently on month 3 since after inital survey was done, still waiting for drying to commence as every week took one activitiy , and the external trades were so slow i.e Belfor and Topmarx — except rapid relocate which I am very thankful for as gave us real rapid results!! — Claimed last August and was told by Belfor , we dont have anything major needing to be done , and yet it looks like we will be spending Christmas this year in a damp house with no proper floors. I was told when drying commences (November) this will take 2 weeks, then need a re-survey and then re approval and then discussion again and probably be sent to external trades again for repair (by this time it would be December) . however I have to commend wherever credit is due and our 2nd claims handler— Colette Burns , thank goodness for changing our handler! is way more responsive and efficient

Surveyor and joke of a quote for insurance
We have water damage in our bathroom thats caused damage in the kitchen and BV Solutions (Davies) have gave us a laughable quote and didnt think the electrics would need sorted even though water had poured the the fittings and didnt check the joists from escaped water damage, we have told them to put this on hold and reassess as the quote isn't even half what the damage will cost to fix. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

Surveyor for home insurance first claim
Unfortunately our home insurance uses formerly known BV Solutions now rebranded to Davies Group Ltd as their external surveyor. So far we had poor experience from the surveyor's visit to raising further questions via their website after they declined our claim. We will pursue our claim and will raise our complaint further.

The most incompetent company I have ever dealt with
Instead of assessing properly they made up speculative nonsense, never listened to what I said happened. Surveyor was rude and uncomfortable to deal with. Their settlement offer was laughable, and they suggested to "patch up" water damaged flooring rather than replace and break off old taps that were sealed on bath and smash the bath up to get it out rather than remove toilet, how do I then get the new bath in??? The most incompetent company I have ever dealt with, so much so that my Insurance company paid me compensation and admitted how awful they are. Still considering legal action as I am still waiting 3 months on!

Possibly the most Incompetent company i have ever delt with in all my years in the building industry. I have had damage on my house and after a lowball offer and refusing to settle. I challenged them to do a second survey that was far different to the first .to be told by rude staff that I don't know the industry. Then they appointed a build who quoted 3 times the second quote . Total joke of a company do not trust or use it will be nothing but headaches and pain .8 months in still no work started but a more rapid company who has moved at great pace to get things resolved.
