I bought a £1500 wet tile cutter a week…
I bought a £1500 wet tile cutter a week ago from Buy Brand Tools.
After setup I tried cutting some 20mm limestone. The cuts were horrendous, we tried trouble shooting from online resources and wasted 2 slabs at £60. We contacted the company who said it’s a blade issue. £50 later I fit the new blade and the cuts were even worse. We can cut the same limestone with minimal difficult by hand and no vibration issue.
3 days of trying to get in contact with their reps at Rubi and I’m still no closer to a resolution. Buy Brand Tools aren’t taking any responsibility, saying it’s now a used machine (how would I know it’s faulty without using it?).
Now I’m being passed around between 2 companies who don’t have an answer whilst a £1500 machine I don’t want and doesn’t work like described is sat in my work container.

Morning Joe,
Sorry again for the ongoing issue.
We are still lead to believe this is a blade issue, not a problem with the cutter itself. If the machine is faulty, then you are certainly within your rights to return/exchange the machine but we need to prove this first. This is why we've had to arrange for Rubi to come and pay you a visit to see how you are using the cutter, what blade you're using and see the performance of the machine. I've spoken with the Rubi rep and he's booked in to pay you a visit and we'll find out what's happening. Sorry again for the time taken to resolve this and for all the hassle this has caused you.
Kind regards,
Scott

Sorry about the delay with your order. The couriers are permitted to leave with a neighbour if you're not at home. The driver has left it at number 28. If you are unable to go to this address to pick this up, let us know and I shall see if DX can pick this up and re-deliver.
Kind regards, Scott
