We've been on four Bunnik tours and we've got two more booked. What better recommendation can that be! They deliver on their promises and each tour has more than met our expectations. They have no more than 20 in a tour group, theie transport is excellent, great hotels and best of all fantastic guides. We've been to Morocco, Azerbaijan, Georgia & Armenia, Turkey and our latest trip was to Sri Lanka. All were awesome trips with lovely groups of like minded travellers.

We enjoyed the tour very much. We were a group from one town in Western Australia. The guide was spot on. Knew his stuff and spoke good English. The driver and assistant were great and were very helpful when needed. The sites of our visits were really interesting and were varied enough too. The hotels were of a very high standard. Of course we ate too much. The only down side was the second last day. Because we missed the elephant orphanage area on a previous day the tour was modified to fit that in on that day. This meant we got to Galle on a very busy holiday Sunday afternoon and it was hot. The next morning we did a boat cruise in cooler conditions. Perhaps that could have been swapped. We could have done Galle in the morning when not so many people were there. I would have liked to have spent more time looking at the fortification area. Apart from that really good. The Galway hotel was magical.

Sri Lanka is ideal for a wide variety of experiences - food, wildlife, culture, history - and we are happy our guides and drivers make them all memorable.

It is unfortunate that there were a couple of late amendments to the itinerary for whatever reason made them necessary, and the visit to Galle was not ideal weather. I know it can be quite hot there at times. However, we are happy you did not miss anything as a result.

This was an exceptionally well-organised tour, and our guide Priya was outstanding. Their extensive knowledge of Sri Lanka and the fascinating insights they shared really enriched our experience. Sri Lanka Discovery was our 8th tour with Bunnik. In Sri Lanka we travelled with an excellent guide, a dedicated bus driver and a driver’s assistant. We didn’t have to lift a finger & the bus was cleaned everyday. There is plenty to see in Sri Lanka and we saw, and experienced, most of it. I would definitely recommend the Bunnik tour.

The Bunnik small group May/June Discovery Tour exceeded all of my expectations. Our Tour Director, Ash, with his professionalism, attention to detail, incredible story telling, knowledge and empathy brought his wonderful country alive and enabled us to experience and participate in through well planned and organised Bunnik excursions the culture, temples, history, wildlife safaris, food, and community involvement. The Orphaned Elephant Transit Home and the 2004 Tsunami Museum were two very moving experiences for me. It was an also an honour to meet the staff of the Bunnik office in Colombo and to share in a delightful luncheon. The accommodation and locations were superb. We were also very fortunate to be in Sri Lanka for the 30 May full moon celebrations - Vesak Full Moon Poya Day! Lots of partying in the streets! Thank you sincerely Bunnik Family.

This trip exceeded all my expectations, especially the nature aspect of it. Just wow!!! It’s easy to read the itinerary but to actually be there and not only go on wonderful safaris but to also see elephants and other amazing animals on the side of the road when travelling on the bus. No words. Then to see such beautiful scenery everywhere, again no words. Our group was also blessed to have 3 awesome people looking after us, Priya, Kalum and Karu, what a team. Bunniks what a truly great trip this is.

This was a fabulous tour. We got to see and experience the diverse natural world of Sri Lanka that included elephants, monkeys and many types of birds. We saw a leopard in the wild as well. In addition, we gained an insight into the history of this country as well as its rich culture.

We loved the whole tour and experience. The Tour guide, Anton, bus assistant, Dilshan and driver, Lasante, were fantastic. The itinerary was great and we got to choose whether or not we did the more challenging walks or steep climbs. We particularly loved the wild life content, Safaris, Turtle sanctuary and random sightings of elephants on the side of the roads. The home visits in villages with home cooked lunches were among the best meals we enjoyed. All of the hotels were superb, comfortable, spacious and cool EXCEPT the 1st hotel we stayed in in Nabambo. Our room had air conditioning that was malfunctioning and was incredibly hot with not even a ceiling fan for relief. Our room was not the only one that Air conditioning issues either. I would thoroughly recommend this tour to others with the suggestion that Bunnik use a different Hotel in Negambo in future.

This tour did not disappoint. The dynamics of the people and places of interest was astounding. From spices/tea plantations, animal safaris, temples it has it all. Especially interesting was the village visit, where daily life of activities was demonstrated before a delicious lunch. Bunniks’ tour guide, bus driver and assistant were excellent providing information and making sure we were all was safe. Lots of nice little surprise treats along the way. Fresh watermelon, mango with salt and chilli, and ice cream just to name a few.

Enjoyed a fantastic Bunnik tour of Sri Lanka. Everything was well organised, the small group was fantastic, and our guide was excellent. Our accommodation at all locations was comfortable and clean. We stayed two or more nights at each hotel which meant we didn't have to be constantly unpacking and repacking our bags. Bunnik had put together a good variety of excursions - ancient ruins, temples, coastal and inland locations, towns and countryside, safaris - something to suit everyone. Would thoroughly recommend, and would definitely book another Bunnik tour.
