This was a great tour. Saw all the Morocco highlights as well as great Hotels and some outstanding dinners.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback following your recent Morocco In-Style tour. We're genuinely sorry to hear that aspects of the experience didn’t meet your expectations.
We understand how important comfort and consistency are when it comes to both transport and accommodation. We’d like to assure you that as soon as we became aware of the concerns raised during the tour, we took immediate steps to make things right. The vehicle was upgraded to a full-sized coach to ensure more space for your group of 7, and alternate accommodation was arranged in Fes after it became clear that the original hotel had declined in standard — a change we implemented swiftly, with guests moving after just one night.
Regarding the desert camp, we understand that the air-conditioning hadn’t been turned on in time for your group’s arrival, and we’re sorry this impacted your comfort. While this property is the most luxurious desert camp in the region, and a real highlight for many of our travellers, we appreciate that this affected the overall experience.
While it’s disappointing to hear that the tour fell short for you in some areas, we hope there were also moments of enjoyment and discovery that left a positive impression. Overall we were very happy with the tour and everything went to plan. In particular we thought the itinerary was good, the accommodation was mostly good and we really enjoyed our guide Redouane el Aouan. He was very informative and engaging.
We appreciated the fact that Bunnik proceded with the tour despite the small number of travellers - we would have had a big hole to fill in our trip otherwise, as we were going onto Europe afterwards!
On the slightly negative side:
- Riad Palais Sheherazade was under par. The management was poor, the staff (young men) were untrained and it was not well maintained. The front door was locked at all times, which is fine for security, but it was difficult to gain access, sometimes waiting for 15 mins to raise someone inside.
- Tipping: we are not fans of the fixed tipping: despite paying a hefty allowance, we felt uncomfortable not tipping porters who hung around waiting to be tipped, and despite it being included, we all felt it necessary to show our appreciation to our guide at the end of the trip. We would much prefer to tip directly, with advice from the guide, or at least exclude the guide's tip from the fixed amount.

It’s also lovely to know how much you appreciated us going ahead with the tour despite the small group size — we were very glad to be able to make it work for you.
We’re sorry that your stay at Riad Palais Sheherazade fell short of expectations, and we sincerely apologise for any discomfort you encountered there. Following feedback from your group, we’ve now made the decision to remove this property from the itinerary for future departures.
We also appreciate your comments around tipping. Over the years, we’ve trialled a number of different approaches — including having travellers manage tips individually — but ultimately felt that a pre-paid system was the fairest way to ensure that all service providers receive their allocation, especially as not all Australians are accustomed to tipping. That said, we do recognise that tipping can still feel awkward at times, particularly for travellers from cultures where it’s not the norm. We’ve taken your feedback on board and will continue to look for ways to make this process clearer and more comfortable for everyone.

We had the most amazing time in Morocco! We were lucky to have a small group of 4, and our guide and driver were the best! We got a lot of history and culture, which was what we were interested in. Lots of laughs as we were travelling, so many great memories. Our photos were terrific, so many photographic opportunities. I would definitely go back.
