I bought two engraved brass plates. It took me a little while to get the hang of the interactive design tool but it's actually the best such tool I was able to find, and is one of the reasons I bought from Brunel rather than a competitor. The plates themselves arrived quickly, well packaged, and are beautiful, really good quality and elegant. Very happy with the purchase, would use again for sure.
Good quality product and service
Second time we have used this company and as with the first order, seamless ordering and delivery. Product to the highest standard - would recommend them for any engraving related work.
Excellent quality and service
Great website design and great quality
Easy to order and check & confirm order. Plates arrived before estimated delivery date given. Great service exceeding expectations.
A beautiful memorial plaque which arrived well wrapped. The company were helpful and the process of ordering easy to navigate. Thank you.
Extremely disappointed with the product. Within a week of it being put up, the brass nameplate started to discolour. At first I thought it was the rain, but even after wiping it the marks wouldn’t come off. Unfortunately it has only got worse since then. I needed 2 more, but will look elsewhere

Hi Matt
Thank you for your correspondence.
Brass is a metal that will tarnish in its natural form, (we do state this on the web site), as to how quickly this tarnishing occurs is dependent on where the plaque is sited and the conditions the plaque maybe exposed to.
Brass will turn a dark brown in colour and the only way to prevent this is to polish the plaque on a regular basis, thus creating a patina on the brass surface.
We recommend using Peek, a metal polish that will restore and maintain your plaques appearance. You can purchase this from our website or most local hardware stores.
For more information on how best to polish you plaque, please click the following link to view a video tutorial.

I hope that this explains the situation and offers sufficient advice on how to restore your plaque.
Kind regards

We have been looking for a memorial plaque for one of the bird hides on our local nature reserve and the service, quality of product and the value for money Brunel have provided means I will certainly use them again and have no problem recommending them to anyone else.
Great service, excellent value. We will be ordering again.
