Positives :

Pleasant to deal with …during the sale.

They have replied on WhatsApp when I have messaged.

Negatives :

Car broke down TWICE within the first 3 weeks of having the car - it turns out that there was no seal in the coolant tank lid, so the coolant was boiling up and leaking out of the tank. A new lid eventually solved it - but it caused me to be stranded on a dual carriageway, in the heatwave (37 degrees), with my little boy, on a Friday afternoon.

Tyre pressure alert kept going off, within days of buying the car - the garage they use for servicing their cars, changed a tyre and forgot to reset the tyre pressure system.

Air conditioning ran out and had to be re-gassed within 2 weeks.

Service light came on within 4 weeks of the sale (despite it apparently being serviced before I collected the car). Brundall Autos said that the garage that they used to service it, must’ve forgotten to reset this AS WELL. Why are they using this incompetent garage?

Lane Assist feature can’t be turned off - have to disable it manually every time I start the engine.

The warranty company they use is AWFUL (please look them up before you buy a car from Brundall Autos and the reviews speak for themselves). The warranty company never respond to people and apparently rarely pay out.
Brundall Autos have clearly just gone with the cheapest option for them, just so that they can say that a vehicle has 6 months warranty, to give the buyer a false sense of security.

I have NEVER had so many issues with a car I have bought - it has been costly and stressful, especially as a single mum with no help.

I previously, kindly and optimistically/ naively, left a positive review - because they asked me to, on the day I paid for the car. But on Day 1, I had no idea of all the problems that would follow.

I don’t think it’s the couple’s (who own the company) fault entirely, because they seemed ok/competent/decent themselves …but my advice for future buyers, would be to ask for the names of the garage and the warranty provider’s details and research those companies BEFORE buying from Brundall Autos.

Great little hidden gem, we bought a car from them with so much ease it was incredible, had the pleasure of dealing with both husband and wife, both of which were knowledgable about the car. They picked us up from the station and took us back, so very kind. thank you both. sue and malcolm
