I ordered a whole series of books from this seller via AbeBooks and it never arrived. They sent me a fake Royal Mail tracking number and refused to respond to my attempts to contact them to request a refund.

I ordered via Amazon (from third party seller Brit_Books) an audio CD described as 'used, import' but when it arrived it was apparent was a fake illegal copy: b&w photocopy paper insert and CD was a fake with label applied. Basically the most obvious of fake illegal copies!

My daughter ordered a book and it’s already been used. There is writing in the book and all the activities have been completed. We ordered and paid for a brand new book and we’ve received a second hand completely used book. Shame on you

I ordered books though Amazon but it was Britbook who supplied them they were advertised as Very good condition should have been very bad condition.

All the books I have received though Amazon from other companies have been great all in very good condition just make sure when you order the supplier is not BRITBOOK

If I could give no stars I would. I ordered a book Amazon that was sold via this company. The book arrived on time HOWEVER not at all how they described. It was supposed to be in very good condition. The book is dirty, the bottom of that pages are heavily stained, corners are folded and mangled. Avoid this company.

The book arrived on time. The condition was very good and the price was cheap. I cannot fault them. When I read the experiences of others I was expecting the worst but I have to say that on my experience I have nothing to criticise them for

Like all of Ihezie's dubious business ventures Brit Books really seem as though they couldn't care less about their customers. Orders placed can take days before anything being dispatched. A very lackadaisical approach to commerce and I avoid his "companies" like the plague.

I came across this company due to trying to find a rare book I was looking for. When I saw the product was being offered here for less than half the price as Amazon in 'Used-Very Good' condition decided to take the plunge. At first I must admit was worried after reading some of these reviews and with no confirmation email but only a few days after ordering I recieved my book in the condition advertised. Wouldn't hesitate personally to use again.

I really do wish that I had read the reviews before ordering via Amazon. It arrived when stated but in no way is it in the described Very Good Condition. Torn in 3 places and clumsily sellotaped.
I have contacted customer services but don't hold out much hope looking at other reviews!

I bought a book from Britbooks on the Amazon site. It was described as in very good condition and they charged £3.57. It was absolutely disgusting. It was torn, filthy dirty and stained. It was a health hazard and belonged only in a skip and nowhere else. I threw it away immediately.

Avoid this cowboy outfit.

Quick delivery of 2nd hand book, hardback in perfect condition. Very impressed & will definitely use again

Ordered Blu ray off Amazon, only two days later to find order cancelled with no explanation. Not the first time this company has let me down. Won't happen again. AVOID.

Purchased a book through Amazon,£3.82 it was discribed as used very good condition.
It was in fact an ex library copy full of library stamps, pages were food stained and the library resale price was written in the front page as 40 pence.

I ordered a book off Amazon it arrived in an unusable condition. I emailed customer service, email address doesn’t work. No phone number. Britbooks is a scam of a company. Do not trust. Do not purchase. Amazon needs to remove them as a seller!

Ordered an LP and they sent me a totally unrelated DVD film. Tried to email customer service and email got pinged back saying their in-box was 'full'. Think I might have been scammed!!

Ordered a book from Brit Books on Abebooks. It arrived in good condition, but I still had to pay steep VAT to receive it despite already having paid it upon ordering.

Wish. I’d read the books before ordering, ordered 2 knitting books , received one for a totally different person, yet to be resolved

The lack of remorse or effort to improve suggests they have resigned themselves to being a company that profits through deception rather than integrity.

I purchased a book listed as a first edition/first impression, but what I received was a fourth edition/fourth impression. This was a clear misrepresentation of the product description.

When I reached out to resolve the issue, BritBooks’ customer service was dismissive and lacked clarity. I had to follow up just to get basic answers to my questions. Although it appears that I may be able to return the item within 30 days with postage covered due to the misadvertisement (via the marketplace Biblio’s policies), the process has been unnecessarily frustrating and reflects poorly on this sellers approach to customer care. I don't trust that a return would be stress free and it's simply not worth it at this point.

So I naturally checked out Trustpilot and sadly saw that this experience reflects the broader negative reviews about BritBooks. I wish I had checked Trustpilot before ordering. It’s evident that their quality control and customer service processes need significant improvement.

I’ll be taking this as a lesson to research sellers more thoroughly in the future and won’t be using BritBooks (and by association - Biblio Marketplace) again.

Honestly they just appeared to be indifferent.. just hope their staff reflect on what they are doing to their own reputation and the negative experiences they appear to be in service of providing.

The book was in worse condition than as described ('Used; Very Good'). Thankfully there were no missing pages or markings/highlighting so was still usable. Thankfully it was a good price and actually arrived, but I wish that I'd read others' TrustPilot reviews before I had ordered it.

Bought 2 books from Britbooks described as in very good condition. When arrived, both were in very in bad shape. It means this was not a mistake, it was intentional. They advertised dishonestly.

Reviews here are consistently poor. Had I seen these before, wouldn't have bought from them.
