If I could give it negative star I would! Took a month to get our order to us. Didn't deliver it all but said they did. Now waiting another 6 weeks and they still haven't supplied the missing text book. Can't contact them as they don't answer the phone and hide behind AI bots. Worst text book supplier I've ever come across!

My friend ordered box of books for school. It is halfway through the school year and her stuff still hasn't come!! She ordered in January!!!!!!! Never use box of books. The delivery is trash. There was a book that I was supposed to read before the start of school and I didn't get it until school had been going for well over a month. When my sister stars high school, we will be using amazon!!

Wish so much we could rate them ZERO stars!
The most useless place ever! Very frustrating that they are the schools choice. Have only just received tracking details for the order… 2 weeks out of the END of term 1.

Communication is atrocious!

Genuinely the worst place one can deal with and I hope the schools cancel going through these people.

Waiting over a month now for 3 school text books that the kids need. They were ordered 6 th Feb. It’s now 4 th March and they haven’t even been shipped yet.

How can they be a preferred provider for school books when it takes over 6 weeks to deliver the physical books? No other book store requires such long restocking times. I had to ask several times for an update and they only ship once all the books in the order are available. As it looks like, the books will now only arrive in week 7 of this term!! Not good enough - especially considering these are expensive school books!!

Books ordered over a month ago and still no sight of them. I have just received a notice from Aus Post that they are about to be delivered. Go elsewhere they are just not a great company to buy from

I am so annoyed that my child's school chose to work with this company. Even if books within the order are in stock, they will hold them hostage until an out of stock item becomes available, and then they can deliver them all in one go.
3 weeks at school and he has no physical books, only digital.ones, as just ONE of the four books I ordered is not yet in stock.

This company is hopeless. Try and buy your books elsewhere. The shipping takes months, and it is impossible to get updates on the whereabouts of the books. I am disappointed the school directed us to buy from here. My kids have been without text books they need despite ordering them months ago!

Absolutely pathetic, ordered books December 14, 2025 until now February 22, 2026 the books never arrived. Nearly the end of first term books still not available. I have ask so many questions already to what happened to my order no proper answer, and I have ask for refund to my money more than $200 they want the books to be returned before I get my refund. How can I return something I never received! Would not recommend to anyone.

Amazingly slow and incompetent

Had to use as my child’s school moved to this platform. An absolute cluster. Three weeks in and still waiting for some things. Multiple messages, even organised a delivery to school and it’s still stuffed. I will avoid at all costs in the future. Order placed before their ‘cut off’ date for the school and before Christmas - and three weeks into the year we still don’t have everything we paid for and they’ve been sitting on our money the whole time.

3 weeks since placing my order for school books. I have heard nothing from box of books. I have tried emailing and using their chat. No response. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE for your school books. Your young people will have many weeks with no books. Three weeks of silence. No updates. Just in progress. Surely every single book I ordered can’t be out of stock and on back order.

I ordered my daughters school books on 27 November 2025 and they arrived today, 11 February 2026.

They charge a fortune for books, if you can get them elsewhere, Amazon for example, then do. There’s no customer service telephone so you can’t speak to anyone when there are problems, and there are always problems.

I chased box of books several times via their messaging service to get the books delivered but the staff never answer your questions directly. Instead they sent me a fake AusPost tracking number and never actually gave AusPost anything to deliver. We’re part way through the first term now and the books have just arrived. Thankfully my daughter is in her last year now so I never have to use them again, otherwise I’d be asking the school to use a different book provider. Just a massive shame that with her ATARs coming up the books weren’t here for the start of school.

Completely incompetent and unable to deliver their products.
