Wonderfully organised to by boundless. We used the park and ride, got to Bristol early, and took a leisurely stroll to the SS Great Britain. Even so we were 20 minutes early, which was no problem and we went in fine. The ship is fascinating, and the presentation is excellent. We had a snack in the on board cafe (delicious), and had a really good explore. Lots of information on board, and some great hands on experiences.

We had a guidebook with our boundless tickets, and were also entered into the prize draw. We both won a goody bag with some really cool memorabilia, which rounded off the day.

Excellent service from the Boundless team when we arrived at the car park and then a very enjoyable time spent touring the SS Great Britain. Highly recommended!

Staff at the desk were very helpful and there wasn't a queue when we arrived so nice and quick. One slight issue was that part of the site shut at 4, which we weren't aware of so we weren't able to see that. As we came during the 1 till 3 slot it would have been handy to have known that when we registered.

I was a child when it was tugged into dock. I can remember it well.

The Great Britain is a fabulous ship, and a fitting memorial to one of Britain's greatest engineers, Isembard Kingdom Brunel
The Boundless Day was a pleasure throughout, with a warm welcome, a free guide book for later reference, and great service throughout.
The weather was rather bleak, but most of the exhibits were indoors, so this wasn't a problem.
The "underwater"part of the day was interesting and there was so much to learn about the great man and his many designs/projects/escapades!
The on-board cafe also made a great cup of coffee.
Overall, a superb day out!

Very good visit, parking was easy and nearby, traffic in Bristol bit of a nightmare with temporary road closures and Satnav not helping. Without the CSMA discounts on entry and parking it would have been an expensive excursion.

A great day out despite the weather. We were greeted by the friendly Boundless team. Everything went really smoothly at check in. I had an issue with my on line QR code but the staff were able to sign me in without any issues. SS Great Britain was a wonderful interesting venue…Loved it.

This was our first Boundless Members Day and we were pleasantly surprised by the organisation of the day and the quality of the SS Great Britain museum.
Had a lovely day and will definitely go to more member days.

We were kept busy from just after nine in the morning to nearly four in the afternoon. The combination of technical problem solving and human stories helped to reduce information overload. The rescue mission was made fascinating by the animated video.

Worth noting that if you want to walk from Temple Meads station, there are no signs to help you until you are close to the site.

The Boundless arrival desk was clearly signposted, was well laid out inside and plenty of people available to book us in.
A lovely warm welcome, we were given passes, a guide book and bookmark as well as chocolates. Then we submitted our details for the draw. I was also advised to go to the main reception desk to sort out the parking. Thank you to all the volunteers who welcomed us. SS Great Britain was brilliant, we all really enjoyed looking around. I live in Bristol and have never been so really pleased that members could book discounted tickets. I always take the opportunity for days out in the south west. Shame there is no local group to join in this area.

All in all a great day out. Thank you Boundless for arranging another great venue to explore.
Museums gave a fascinating insight into Brunel himself and all his projects. The ship itself was excellent. We found it slightly busy onboard the ship but this could be overcome by either saving the onboard visit until late in your visit when it may be quieter, or get there early and go straight onboard as soon as you arrive..
All displays were very ‘hands on’ and the experiences of all the authentic smells made it quite realistic.
Boundless staff very helpful on arrival.
Venue staff very knowledgeable and approachable. Their enthusiasm was contagious.
The only downside was the parking charges. It was good to have a special rate (half price)for the first 5 hours, but we were so engrossed we wanted a bit longer. When we looked on the parking charges board in the car park the minimum payment was for 3 hours @ £8.10. We approached the reception staff to extend the parking who thought we could have the reduced rate of £5.60 for a further 5 hours but didn’t appear to be sure about that fact. We only really needed another hour, maybe 90 minutes. This would mean £11.20 for 6-7 hrs parking.

A really interesting trip to the SS Great Britain. Very informative. Walking in the dry dock under the ´water’ was an interesting experience. Thank you Boundless for arranging this members event.

A great day visiting an amazing ship and learning so much about it’s remarkable life and the lengths so many people went to ensure it was saved for generations to come.

The day went smoothly. Had a lovely day. The boundless staff and the staff were amazing. First thing we learnt was the difference between a boat and ship. One of the volunteers even showed me a photo of his wife when the ship came back to Bristol. My 83 year old mother and my 6 year old and I throughly enjoyed ourselves.

Excellent day visiting SS Great Britain. What a 5 star attraction. Boundless came up trumps again, well done.
