Fixed my choppy BlueTooth with a third-party driver
I've had my laptop for just over a year, and it's been great except for one SERIOUSLY annoying issue. Gaming using BlueTooth audio has always suffered drop outs. I've followed multiple suggestions to fix the issue, and it turns out I'm not alone. So eventually I found the BlueToothGoodies site and their "Alternative A2DP Driver" - who wouldn't be sceptical, it can't be that easy, can it? Well it seems it can be that easy! Giving more controls over the CODECs BlueTooth uses, and the bit rates, the drops out have ALMOST vanished! I cannot stress how annoying the issue had been, yes it's cost a few quid to fix, but boy am I happier/less frustrated!
