It’s a machine to make money. This process isnt trustable .

As far as I understand, Swindon only accepts one approved company for the taxi driving assessment. When there is only one provider, it raises concerns about independence and accountability.

A company makes money from assessments and retests, so there is a potential financial incentive to fail more candidates. Whether that happens or not, the system creates a perception of a conflict of interest because the assessment process is not fully independent or honest.

I believe there should be more than one approved assessment provider so that candidates have a choice and the process is seen as fair, transparent and impartial.

I don’t usually leave reviews, but I felt I had to share my experience this time.

I was in urgent need of work and applied for a taxi licence in the Bristol area, which required me to complete an assessment with this company. In my opinion, the process felt more like a money-making exercise than a fair assessment.

I have been driving for over 30 years and am a part-qualified driving instructor who actively trains candidates almost every day. I have never failed a driving test in my life. However, a tester called Michael Davis failed me three times. Each time, he claimed I had made a different serious mistake that warranted a fail.

I am an open-minded person and have no problem accepting responsibility or constructive criticism when I make mistakes. However, when someone has the power to make decisions that directly affect people’s livelihoods, that responsibility should be exercised fairly and honestly.

After losing confidence and starting to question my own driving ability, I decided to take my assessment with another company in the Bristol area. I passed on my first attempt.

Because of my experience with Blue Lamp, I nearly lost hope of earning a living and suffered a significant loss of confidence in myself. Based on my experience, I would advise anyone seeking a taxi licence assessment in the Bristol area to carefully consider their options and choose a provider they feel they can trust.

It felt as though personal issues were being taken out on customers, which created a very uncomfortable atmosphere. I had a very good experience. Orfana manzoor is a professional and to the point . She also given me some advices regarding my minor mistake which was very helpful for me. Keep up the good work. Thank you and good luck

I passed my assessment today second attempt. My assessor orfana gave me confidence that I could pass. She is very friendly and professional. Thank you

I would not recommend anyone for driving assignments for private hire would rather go to council where you want to get badge

I had a great experience with my examiner Orfana manzoor She was calm, polite, and made me feel comfortable throughout the assessment. Her instructions were clear and easy to follow. She handled everything very professionally and fairly. I truly appreciate her supportive approach.

Totally unfair, this company works in one-way method, they have the right to cancel your assessment but you are not allowed to ask for a refund. I do not recommend this company for assessment.

Tim Holman is racist !!! Fire him from BLUE LAMP TRUST. He hates Asian. He identify his Targets by their names before test, I have bias unconcious experiance with him. He thinks he can hide his hates and bias acts but everybody understand the way he approach you.

He says nothing verbaly, his body language is very clear and the way he treats you, he hates people coming to this country for any reason.

It doesn't matter who you are, he plays role of a patriot person BUT patriotism and racisim are two opposite actions BLT must know that.

I fell asleep when i returned from the test, he is the first worse person i ever seen in the UK.

He must be fired!!! Blue Lamp Trust please fire him immediately.

Please do not book any test with him and stay safe.

I have been a taxi driver for many years now. However I failed my first assessment and was given advisory and encouraged to prepare for my next assessment by mis Mansoor. I passed today and would like to thank orfana Mansoor for her advic. She is professional and friendly and is a great assessor. Thank you again.

Orfana is a very kind, friendly and professional person she advised me when i was going wrong and how to become a better diver and passed my assessment today. Would definitely recommend.

I'm an 54-year-old man who's been driving for a very long time but very very nervous this morning but my driving assessor Orfana Manzoor greeted me and was absolutely exceptional. Make me feel at ease which resulted in me passing thank you for the experience okay

Going into the assessment my nerves were all over the place but after getting into the car with Miss Manzoor and starting my test I felt relieved as she was a nice examiner and made me feel comfortable while I done my test would definitely recommend.

Orfana Manzoor was great examiner. She provided guidance, was calm & showed great empathy during my test. Orfana is a credit to the organisation.
