Excellent experience of customer service at BLS Toronto office today and my special thanks to Ms. Pooja Sharma at counter # 3 who patiently went through my OCI application and steered it through with care and empathy. She explained the process and answered my questions about the OCI card and it's tentative arrival with smile. I thank Pooja for her professionalism and making my BLS experience a pleasant one. Way to Go Pooja. Please keep the good work you are doing to help people getting their travel documents hassle free.

People sitting behind the desk are the most useless, trashy, greedy, manipulative, and unworthy, and need to be thrown out of their jobs. For OCI desk no#7 lady said that the points which are not mandatory should be left and I filled in a new application using postal services now my application is rejected again for not filling up those.

Their sole interest is to re-do the application by their staff and collect money. I wish they have told me straight on my face I need money to pass your application rather than there is a fault in the application. Sooner or later such people will get back their Karma.

Made me pay for a photograph when I already had the photo clicked from a reputed passport photographer. Made me pay for 8 page long instructions to attach to my application when I had already attached the checklist. Applied scare tactics to sell me their postal service. PATHETIC to the core. This is the kind of bureaucracy that made us leave India and unfortunately, are made to deal with this crap in a foreign land.

Montreal BLS - Thanks to Hilary

Today we visited Montreal BLS office for passport renewal and I am really thankful to Hilary who was kind enough to guide us through the entire process patiently. Thanks to her we were able to submit our document without any issues. Thanks to the entire team as well :)

Worst service and robs the customer with high charges.
No proper documentation in bls-canada site, if you call to customer care their checklist is different than the bls-canada site.
Reason behind this is to earn more money on the postal applications.
For a family of 4 , they are charging 800$ for postal charges (Passport surrender & OCI application). Definitely it will come back as improper documentation , reason to gain more money to BLS Canada International.

Indian ambassy need to re-think to update the contract with BLS in near future..this is literally robbing.

Indian ambassy should open one for each province like SK(We have more new comers than any other province).

Why can't we send the application via Canada post for cheaper price.

I visited the downtown Vancouver office today, the process went smoothly, the staff was helpful, really happy with the service today.

They rip you off with courier fee and this is where they make their tip money.
Don't fall prey if they say you have to book courier with them. That's a trap. I used my own courier by going to Staples, it was 5 times cheaper than what they quoted.

List to stop falling prey.

1. They will say things like, we don't accept any other courier, lie. That means besides Purolator, no other Courier is to be trusted in Canada?
2. They'll say you have to book a courier with them. it's not the law that you have to follow. Decline it. You are getting ripped off.
3. They will make it seem like if you don't book courier with them, you're application won't be accepted. Another blackmail for trap.
4. They will also say a return courier is a must, say NO.
5. You can easily send it yourself for return or one way, your choice, because sending is a must if no appointment available, but once application is ready, you have the choice to go pick it up.

Just ask questions related with your application.
If they start talking about a pick up courier arrangement and they sending you a link to pay for it, just say NO.
Say anything like, a/ you will send it yourself, b/ bargain and say the pick up charge at local place is $20, they will either agree or back off.

They quoted me $ 195 for a return courier, I sent it myself for $ 22, one way.
Don't waste your hard earned money. Make the effort, go out and do it yourself. We go shopping, to family and friends, run all our errands, why not this one?

Very bad experience with BLS. I applied for OCI. End of November online status is " Passport is ready for pick up after stamping". It's almost one month. BLS did not send my OCI card. I send 10 requests, Called on given phone numbers, they disconnect the phone. I also visited BLS office, Staff said we cannot help you in this matter.

BLs service provided by sarbjit for indian visa very excellent .I really appreciate about her customer service.her way of explaining information was very good.

what i found is that this is a scam!! they dont have appointments online!! when you go there they say keep trying on appointments it will open up!! they want postal application for each person in the household and thereby they can charge each application and get commision!! if someone have an appointment and their paperwork has any minor mistakes they need to go back to the step 1 of application and appointment !! If everything is right with the application they will find something like photo is not good and charge you for it !! there should be a better way to manage this !! Indian diaspora is growing in Canada and hope someone from Indian Consulate is working on this misery for Citizens!! Please value the time of others!! we are queing up helplessly taking off from work and you are making it difficult for fellow citizens by not giving any solution!! Finally BLS ask you to review their services whilst you stand infront of them, please dont fall for it give your honsest feedback!! Please take this as a feedback and make changes for the good of everyone!!

We visited BLS office on Oct 5, 2022 at Brampton for oci form submission, the office (security and counter service) were really perfect, staff was very helping, efficient and cordial, special mention of Ms Monika Sharma (counter officer) and deeksha (security staff), we could submit appln quickly with help of BLS office, keep it up regards Naveen Kalra and Renu Kalra

I had to visit BLS Brampton twice in the week of Sept 19, 2022. My two visits included long wait times of two to three hours as I couldn't get an appointment at short notice.

I was in the queue by 6.30 am to get my application submitted at the specific counter by 9.30 am for my second visit.

Despite the wait times, I'm happy to share that I was impressed by the professionalism and excellent customer service of Karanveer Saini and Pawandeep Kaur. Also, the gentleman managing photocopy and photo services and the security guard (whose names I can't recollect) were very helpful.

Thanks again, Karan and Pawan, for your time and hard work! Impressed by your speed and diligence in helping BLS clients.

Very Fast, booked an appointment online for an OCI. GURPREET was fast, courteous and accommodating.

I really appreciate the service and guidance from Pooja Sharma. She was very nice to me and helped in doing documentation. She has good knowledge about the documentation and ensure that my application go through in one go. Full marks for everything
